The Dodgers keep winning -- first the NL pennant, and now Stevie Wonder tells TMZ Sports he's willing to pick up his harmonica and perform the national anthem at the World Series!!!

Of course, there's some backstory here ... Wonder famously took a knee (and then a 2nd knee) during the height of the NFL national anthem demonstrations earlier this year.

Which begs a few questions ... would the Dodgers be cool with Stevie? Would Stevie use the massive platform to demonstrate again? Who are they gonna get bigger than Stevie Wonder?!

It would be awesome if it happened ... but the Dodgers tell TMZ Sports ... Vin Scully will NOT be firing up his legendary microphone for a World Series cameo.

The greatest Dodgers broadcaster of all time retired last year -- but many are holding out hope he will come back to work to call an inning or two now that the Blue Crew is playing in the WS.

But unfortunately, it ain't gonna happen.

We spoke with Dodgers exec. Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lon Rosen who tells us, "Neither Vin Scully nor Sandy Koufax will be returning to action for the World Series. They will be enjoying the Dodgers like all the rest of our great fans."

Scully watched the Dodgers clinch the NLCS from the couch with his wife and daughter -- and they were so excited, they tweeted out a celebratory pic!

Early Friday morning, Vin emailed with L.A. Daily News reporter Tom Hoffarth about the possibility of a World Series broadcast booth cameo and said, "I honestly don’t feel I belong there and I would not want anyone to think I was eager for a spotlight."

We reached out to Vin's daughter Cat who tells us Vin's "really enthused" about the Dodgers making the World Series and is considering going to at least 1 game ... but as of now, there's "nothing percolating" about a comeback.

Here's 40 seconds of Jamie Foxx showing love to Dodgers ... right after busting out his Stephen A. Smith impression on the streets of L.A. -- and it's pretty hilarious.

Foxx had appeared on ESPN's "First Take" early Thursday morning in full costume and makeup as "Cleveland A. Smith" ... Stephen's equally excitable brother.

Hours after the show, he was still doing the Stephen A. voice -- "Ballers are gonna ball" -- before showing love to the Dodgers.

After smashing 3 home runs and clinching the National League pennant -- Dodgers hero Kiké Hernandez had a message for his team ... WE AIN'T DONE YET!!

Hernandez gave the victory speech in the locker room after the Dodgers punched their ticket to the World Series on Thursday night ... and it was awesome.

"First of all great job," Kiké said ... "I don't remember the last time the Dodgers got to the World Series 'cause I wasn't even born yet!"

Then this -- "We got 4 f**king games to go!"

Congrats!

The Yankees are screwed. So are the Astros ... because whatever team wins the ALCS is a lamb to slaughter for the L.A. Dodgers -- so says Steve Garvey.

There is one catch ... Garvey says the Blue Crew needs to clinch tonight and lock up the pennant over the Cubs -- and if/when that happens, the momentum will carry L.A. right to a championship.

Garvey knows what it takes to get the job done -- he won the World Series with the Dodgers back in 1981 and was a 2-time NLCS MVP.

Following in the great tradition of Harry Caray, ex-NHL star Mike Comrie got a little boozy for the Cubs playoff game on Wednesday ... maybe a little too boozy.

Comrie's a big Cubbies fan -- his father is a part-owner of the team -- and with Chicago finally taking it to the Dodgers at Wrigley Field in Game 4 of the NLCS, Comrie celebrated a little extra hard in the stands.

You can see in the footage ... Comrie needed a 7th inning stretch before the 7th inning!

We reached out to Comrie for comment -- and he gave us one of the best statements ever.

Former L.A. Dodgers and N.Y. Yankees second baseman Steve Sax has a bone to pick with the company that made his bobbleheads -- he says it screwed him out of some cash for his John Hancock.

Sax claims he made a deal with sports gear company Forever Collectibles for $10,000 -- allowing them to produce a bunch of bobbleheads in his likeness and sell them at an event in June ... and he'd sign about 504 of the 'heads.

According to the legal docs that all worked out fine, but Sax says FC also agreed to pay him another $5,000 to be at the event and sign extra autographs and inscriptions ... which he claims he did.

The problem, according to the suit, is the company never coughed up the additional dough. Now he's going after them for the $5k ... plus interest.

A Dodgers World Series would be a HUGE win for the entire country -- so says longtime L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Not that he's biased or anything.

We got Mayor V -- who was in office from '05 to '13 -- out at Craig's ... and dude was straight beaming over his Boys in Blue -- declaring them America's team and saying this is absolutely their year.

"It would be great for the city of Los Angeles. It's great for America. Everybody loves the Dodgers," Antonio told TMZ Sports.

Don't know about that ... but we do know one celeb who's on the bandwagon.

From one 'Long Beach legend' to another ... Snoop Dogg had HIGH praise for Dodgers hero Justin Turner after crushing a 3-run walk-off homer against the Cubs Sunday night.

Snoop is known for giving his hilarious commentary -- both positive and negative -- for his favorite sports teams. This time, he was lovin' the late-game drama from his fellow L.B. native.

J.T. took notice ... and thanked the rap icon for the shout-out on Instagram.

As the Dodgers and Cubs get set for the NLCS, let's take a moment to stand and salute the insane hotness of their significant others.

L.A. and Chicago have 2 of the best teams in baseball -- but these pics prove their players are waaay bigger winners off the field than on it (no offense, MLB).

In the blue corner, we got the WAGs of Justin Turner, Alex Wood and Kike Hernandez.

In the other blue corner, the ladies of Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Jason Heyward and many more.

Forget the Gatorade bath, the L.A. Dodgers hit Cody Bellinger with a TRASH CAN downpour Monday during their NLDS sweep celebration.

Unclear what was in the trash can ... maybe beer, maybe champagne, melted ice? Who cares -- it was awesome.

And after Yasiel Puig and Kenley Jansen doused the rook, it got even crazier.

Highlights included:

- Belly sprayin' champagne straight up Kenta Maeda's nose

- Kenley strappin' on the goggles before a team-wide bottle-poppin'

- Clayton Kershaw yellin' like a maniac ... and manager Dave Roberts declaring them the best damn team in baseball ('cause who cares about jinxes, right?)

With the Arizona Diamondbacks beating the Dodgers the last SIX TIMES they faced off ... we had to ask Dodgers owner Stan Kasten if he was afraid of facing AZ in the NLDS.

First off ... Kasten is hilarious.

Second, while Stan says he ain't sweatin' it -- he knows what the Blue Crew is up against.

"They're a tough team, they're a great team," Kasten said ... "Every game is gonna be exciting."

But you gotta watch Stan's reaction if he's just saying that stuff because he HAS to ... it's pretty funny.

They've lost 15 of their last 20 -- but the L.A. Dodgers should still be considered one of the FAVORITES when the playoffs roll around ... so says Bob Costas.

The legendary broadcaster was at LAX when we brought up the most depressing topic in Los Angeles ... how the once mighty Dodgers have fallen in a big way.

Good news Dodger fans ... the team's epic collapse ain't NOTHING to fret about -- so says ex-GM Ned Colletti, who assured TMZ Sports that everything was A-OK when we got him out in Beverly Hills.

Okay, so here's the thing -- the Dodgers are in the middle of an EPIC slump, losing 16 out of their last 19, and seeing a 20 game NL West lead shrink down to 9.

They've won their last 2 though, and we guess that's enough for Colletti to pop some champagne ... 'cause when we found him in the 90210 he told us, and all the fans, to just CHILL.

Pete Rose can uncross his fingers and stop holding his breath -- he ain't ever going to Cooperstown, so says his former teammate Johnny Bench.

The Cincinnati Reds legend -- who played with Rose for 12 seasons -- says "Charlie Hustle" broke the rules by betting on baseball back in the day and will have to live with the consequences.

Bench says he wishes Rose would make the Hall ... but he knows it ain't ever gonna happen, despite Pete having the most hits in the history of the sport.

Bench also talks about the L.A. Dodgers -- and says he absolutely loves this year's team. He does point out the squad's history of blowing it in the playoffs ... but explains why this team can break the trend.

Magic Johnson ain't mincing his words -- guaranteeing his L.A. Dodgers are going ALL THE WAY this year and winning the World Series.

Magic grabbed the mic at Clayton Kershaw's Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity event at Dodger Stadium -- and told everyone straight-up, "The Dodgers are going to win the World Series this year."

"This is our year."

He then turned to the injured Kershaw and said, "Get healthy, lead us."

No pressure, bro.

Could be a big year for Johnson -- since LaVar Ball has also guaranteed a deep playoff run for Magic's Lakers.
