Drake didn't show much mercy after his Blue Jays took control of the World Series with a big victory on Wednesday night ... as he trolled Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers with a pair of gloating social media posts.

The "Nice For What" spitter took to his Instagram page just minutes after Toronto beat L.A., 6-1, at Dodger Stadium ... and he bragged about his favorite MLB team going up 3-2 in the championship series.

In one IG Story post, he shared an image of Ohtani in a sweater vest with the caption, "ONE MORE!!!!!!!" In a second, he threw up a snap of Trey Yesavage striking out L.A.'s best player.

Hollywood stars showed out in droves to support their hometown team in the World Series ... packing Dodger Stadium to cheer on the Blue Crew as they faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays in a thrilling Game 5.

Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted on the broadcast ... keeping it low-key in an all-black outfit and a fresh pair of shades.

"Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper made her first World Series appearance -- joining fellow celebs Charlize Theron and Ellen Pompeo in the stands.

Prince Harry seemed defeated Tuesday night ... as he and his wife, Meghan Markle, were booed as their mugs popped up on the Jumbotron during Game 4 of the World Series.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had expressions that harkened back to the infamous Coldplay couple ... as they cringed as the jeering started. Harry eventually forced a smile, but it was clearly an uncomfortable moment.

The good news ... they had great seat at field level. Sorry Jerry O'Connell, no nosebleeds for them.

Harry dressed sharp in a black blazer over a white T-shirt and dark pants, while Meghan donned dark pants with an oversized white button-up. Of course, they both repped Dodger blue with matching baseball caps.

The World Series is drawing a ton A-list stars ... and Hollywood showed up in full force Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium for an action-packed Game 4.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle snagged front-row seats to watch Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani take the mound ... both looking locked in as they matched in Dodger caps. As you know, Markle's a native Angeleno.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren't the only royals in the building ... with "King James" and his wife, Savannah, also showing up to support the hometown team.

Sydney Sweeney was boots on the ground at Dodger Stadium Tuesday night for game 4 of the World Series, and she had some company ... taking in the action alongside Christy Martin!

Sweeney -- who portrays Martin in the soon-to-be-released biopic, Christy -- shared a selfie of the two from Chavez Ravine, and the women were nothing but smiles as they settled in to watch Shohei Ohtani take the mound.

It's not the first time we've seen the duo together; they hit the red carpet for the premiere of the boxing flick last month. While that was for work ... tonight's appearance shows the two have developed a strong bond.

The baseball world learned Will Klein's name following his massive pitching performance for the Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series on Monday ... but there's at least one guy who wasn't surprised one bit -- his college coach!!

We chopped it up with Jason Anderson -- the manager of the Eastern Illinois Panthers -- after his former player helped lift L.A. to a 2-1 lead over Toronto.

Anderson, who the New York Yankees selected in the 2000 MLB Draft, said he initially fell asleep during the 12th inning ... but was jolted awake by his son when he noticed Klein on the mound.

Freddie Freeman's aunt was with the rest of the family at Dodgers Stadium last night for that epic victory ... but she nearly missed her nephew's heroics!

Carol Freeman -- who was also a fan-favorite on this season of "The Golden Bachelor" -- tells TMZ ... She damn-near missed Freddie’s epic walk-off home run in the 18th inning … ‘cause she was hunting for ice cream at concessions.

She had to book it back to her seat ... but Carol tells us she made it in time to say a little prayer Freddie wouldn't be the final out after the huge battle between the Dodgers and Blue Jays that went until midnight.

Justin Bieber's ticked off, and probably exhausted, after that epic Game 3 of the World Series ... and the native Canadian unloaded his frustration on homerun slugging Shohei Ohtani.

Check out the video ... the Grammy winner gave a thumbs down at LA.'s Dodger Stadium as Ohtani rounded the bases after one of his 2 homers. The Dodgers are, of course, playing against Bieber's beloved Toronto Blue Jays in a duel for the ages.

The "Sorry" singer bravely repped his team while rocking a #57 jersey with his name on the back. The name is just a coincidence, though, as #57 actually belongs to Jays pitcher Shane Bieber -- no relation.

Game 3 of the World Series clocked in at a whopping six hours and 39 minutes ... and Dodgers and Blue Jays players were doing everything to stay locked in -- including some late-night eats!

Cameras caught both teams being delivered a fruit platter as the game wore on late into the night, and after playing 18 innings of baseball, anything would have hit the spot.

While it's unclear where the fruit came from -- a vendor outside, restaurant supplies from the stadium -- the options were vast ... from watermelon to pineapple ... and even grapes!

The Dodgers are back in Los Angeles for the World Series ... and naturally, plenty of stars showed up Monday night to cheer them on.

Game 3 brought a stacked lineup of famous faces -- including Jason Bateman, Jacob Elordi, Rob Lowe, Brad Paisley, and Jeff Goldblum.

Celeb couples were also in the building ... like L.A. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and Madison Beer -- plus Justin and Hailey Bieber.

Justin Bieber is among the stars in the house for Game 3 of the World Series ... and even though it's in Los Angeles ... JB is cheering his native country's Blue Jays.

We caught up with Big Papi out at LAX on Thursday -- just a day before the MLB's championship matchup kicks off in Canada -- and he made it clear, he thinks the Jays can win it.

In fact, he was surprised to hear some think a Dodgers title is already a foregone conclusion.

The Los Angeles Dodgers may be without one of their best bullpen pieces for the World Series ... because Alex Vesia is taking a step back from the team to deal with what the team is calling a "deeply personal family matter."

The organization announced the news via a public statement Thursday afternoon ... writing that Alex and his wife Kayla are navigating this difficulty. The team is sending thoughts to the Vesias during this troubling time.

While the Dodgers didn't say what the personal matter is, we do know Kayla's pregnant with the couple's first child -- with Kayla looking ready to give birth any day in photos taken on the field after the Dodgers advanced to the World Series. It's unclear if that is at all related to his absence from the team.
