Eric Dickerson made it crystal clear this week he's no fan of the Cleveland Browns ... telling TMZ Sports he thinks "they're horrible" -- and he wishes Shedeur Sanders ended up elsewhere.

The Hall of Fame running back minced no words during a chat with us at LAX ... saying he can't stand that the Browns were the ones who ultimately picked the younger Sanders in April's NFL draft.

He told us Cleveland is "a bad football team" with a track record of messing up QBs ... and he admitted he's hoping the org. will eventually just let Shedeur go to another franchise.

"Try to be able to compose yourself," Puka said. "You want to always protect yourself and your teammates. That's something my mom raised me in. But you shouldn't cross that line for sure."

Lake -- who's been the L.A. quarterback's teammate since 2022 -- made no bones about it during a sit-down with TMZ Sports this week ... saying straight up Stafford is "100 percent" an HOFer.

The 26-year-old defensive back explained he's gotten to see Stafford up-close at practices weekly for the last three years ... and he just knows there aren't many who have ever played the game at a higher-level.

Puka Nacua's brother, Samson Nacua, has more than just the UFL investigation to worry about after he slapped a fan at Saturday's game -- St. Louis Police tell TMZ Sports they are currently looking into the matter.

A spokesperson says the department is aware of the video from the St. Louis Battlehawks game on Saturday ... which shows Samson, who plays for the Michigan Panthers, slapping a fan at The Dome at America's Center.

"We are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and we are working to obtain video from The Dome at America's Center that may have captured what led up to the encounter," the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said.

Cooper Kupp's time with the Rams ended with his release on Wednesday ... but before he finds a new squad, the receiver took time to thank L.A. for the past eight years.

1:37 PM PT -- Philadelphia police tell TMZ Sports ... the driver of the 2016 black Mercedes Benz is now facing two charges -- one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving without a valid license.

As for the injured officer, the Philadelphia Police Dept. says the cop was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition and is expected to be released soon.

A wild scene took place outside the Eagles vs. Rams playoff game Sunday ... an individual slammed into a cop car in an apparent attempt to avoid an arrest -- and it was all caught on video.

The Super Bowl champ's wife, Kelly, documented the whole journey leading up to the playoff contest ... revealing two of her little ones were hospitalized during the Arizona trip.

The league officially relocated Monday's L.A. vs. Minnesota Wild Card round matchup to Arizona on Thursday, citing the safety of its players and its fans ... and Leinart told us at LAX he's all for the move.

Demarcus Robinson's suddenly got a bit more on his mind in addition to the Rams' playoff game this week ... TMZ Sports has learned the L.A. wideout was just hit with a criminal charge.

The Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney tells us Robinson was charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI ... stemming from his November arrest.

The LA City Attorney says Robinson's facing an infraction as well ... and is due in court for arraignment in the case late next month.

4:05 PM PT -- The NFL says they're continuing to prepare as if Monday night's playoff game will go down at SoFi in L.A. ... however, the league says they're locked down an alternate site -- State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ -- in the event they're forced to move the game because of the wildfires.

The NFL says it's keeping a close eye on the wildfires that are currently ripping through Los Angeles ... as a huge postseason game is slated to be played in the city in just a few days.

The Vikings are scheduled to travel to Inglewood for a "Monday Night Football" matchup with the Rams later this week at SoFi Stadium ... but flames are now roaring just a few miles from the venue -- potentially putting the game in jeopardy.

For now, the arena and its surroundings are safe -- the blazes are all currently north of it -- and the game is still going on as planned ... but an NFL spokesperson told multiple media outlets Wednesday that certainly could change.
