D4vd's staring down some serious charges ... but his biggest concern right now? Looking courtroom-ready for his preliminary hearing.

TMZ has obtained docs which show his team pushed for dress pants and a button-down shirt for his Friday hearing ... but the judge shut that down, so he'll be rocking standard-issue jail threads.

But he did score one win -- L.A. County Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo signed off on an order Monday telling the L.A. County Sheriff's Department to give him a haircut before the May 1 hearing. NBC Los Angeles was first to report on the news.

Chris Brown's former housekeeper is fighting his effort to block any talk about his arrest for assaulting Rihanna at their upcoming trial ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Maria Avila -- who is suing the singer after she claims he should be held responsible for her being mauled by a dog at his L.A. home in 2020 -- asked a judge not to limit evidence being introduced about Chris' past domestic violence or assault allegations.

Maria -- who is seeking $90 million in damages -- pointed out that Chris pled guilty to felony assault in connection with a domestic violence dispute involving Rihanna in 2009.

Digital Underground member Cleetis Mack has died, TMZ has learned.

A rep for the alternative hip-hop group known for kicking off Tupac Shakur's career tells us Mack passed suddenly ... adding his death "leaves a void in our Digital Underground family and in our hearts that can never truly be filled." A cause of death has not been revealed ... his age at the time of his death is unclear.

Mack -- who was known as "Clee" -- joined the group in 1993, six years after it was founded in Oakland, California by Shock G (Gregory Jacobs), Chopmaster J (Jimi Dright), and Kenny-K (Kenneth Waters). His first single with Digital Underground was "Wussup Wit the Luv" ... featuring Tupac.

Eureka -- a drag performer best known for competing on Seasons 9 and 10 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" -- says she didn't feel so free at Madonna's album teaser event over the weekend ... because she says she got the boot for no reason.

The reality star aired her grievances on social media ... saying she was forcefully removed from the event for Madonna's new album "Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II."

The accused terrorist who blew up Taylor Swift's 2024 plans to perform in Austria pleaded guilty to plotting to attack the venue where the superstar was to hold 3 concerts before they all got cancelled.

Citing Austrian news outlets, the AP reports the man copped to charges he devised the scheme to attack Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna in August 2024, as his trial kicked off Tuesday. He now faces up to 20 years behind bars.

The 21-year-old defendant, identified only as Beran A. due to Austrian privacy rules, was originally charged with a number of terrorist offenses, including membership in a terrorist organization. Though it's unclear if he pleaded guilty to any of those other offenses, his defense lawyer was previously quoted saying he would plead guilty to almost all the charges.

Dylan Carter -- a singer from South Carolina who once competed on "The Voice" -- was killed in a car crash Saturday ... and TMZ has learned his cause of death.

The Colleton County coroner tells us ... the 24-year-old died of blunt force injuries sustained in the violent crash ... and his death has been ruled accidental. It was noted that Dylan was wearing his seatbelt.

Law enforcement told TMZ ... a 2026 Tesla sedan was traveling southbound on U.S. Route 21 in South Carolina just after 11 PM when it veered off the road, striking a pole and a fence, before rolling. The driver was the only person in the car ... they succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The coroner confirmed Dylan was the driver.
