Rep. Anna Paulina Luna doesn't believe in sending Olympic canoeist David Hearn up you-know-what creek without a paddle for allegedly vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool ... advocating for community service instead.

Our TMZDC team caught up with the congresswoman from Florida on Friday ... and had to ask her about a judge's decision to indict Hearn on the felony charge of destruction of federal property worth $1,000 or more.

Rep. Luna says the punishment -- if Hearn's found guilty -- shouldn't be too severe ... arguing that he should just do a few hours of community service.

4:28 PM PT -- The Pelosis released a statement which reads, “Mr. Paul Pelosi has personally apologized to the owner of the vehicle and assured them that he would take responsibility for the damage to their vehicle. Speaker Pelosi will not be commenting further on this private matter.”

Paul Pelosi -- Nancy Pelosi's husband -- may face a misdemeanor hit & run charge ... after cops say he caused major damage to a parked car.

Henry Wofford -- the spokesperson for the Napa County Sheriff's Spokesperson -- tells TMZ ... the sheriff's office is submitting a report to the district attorney recommending Paul receive a charge of misdemeanor hit and run for property damage.

This comes after the department released a statement claiming officers responded to a report of a car crashing into an unoccupied parked vehicle in the town of Yountville, California.

A skydiver who crashed into a rodeo event earlier this week got right back on the bull after the unintended smackdown ... jumping the very next day.

Here's the deal ... during the Folsom Pro Rodeo event in Northern California on Thursday, video captured a skydiver missing his target area -- smacking into a pop-up tent providing some shade for attendees.

The jumper seemingly hit the structure hard ... but a spokesperson for the rodeo, Adam Frick, tells TMZ the tent actually helped cushion the jumper's fall.

The Patriot Front -- a white supremacy group which was founded in the aftermath of the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia back in 2017 -- showed up in full force in Washington, D.C. ... gathering outside a public transit station.

Video captured the group -- which is reportedly 400 strong -- in their matching ensembles ... blue shirts, khaki pants and white masks covering most of their faces.

A Houston man allegedly thought soaking strangers would make good content ... now cops say it's evidence.

Christopher Cayce was arrested after Houston police say the 34-year-old allegedly targeted homeless and disabled people with a high-powered, motorized water gun -- recording the encounters and posting the videos to social media.

According to HPD, investigators linked Cayce to multiple incidents in which victims were allegedly sprayed with enough force to cause bodily injuries. Authorities also claim he taunted the victims during the encounters before uploading the clips online.

The family of the doodle Jameson, who was shot to death by an LAPD officer last month during the NBA Finals ... has slapped the city with a lawsuit.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Jameson's owners, Marie Marseille and  Jeremiah Garcia, claim the officer who fatally shot the dog used "excessive and unreasonable" force, which they say amounts to "unlawful seizure." They are also suing for negligence.

The Alabama man suspected of strangling his girlfriend to death and then dying of an apparent heart attack while disposing of her body got hit with some major "karma," according to the victim's brother.

Last month, Daniel Robbins allegedly murdered Jessica Folds in Chambers County, AL, amid their turbulent relationship, police said. As Robbins dragged Folds' body into the woods, he suddenly keeled over and died from a possible heart attack, cops said. 

Folds' brother, Jason Walters, now tells TMZ ... karma caught up with Robbins as he was carrying out his evil deed, adding, "The lord works in mysterious ways."

The case is being prosecuted by Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia ... she's adamant Hearn defiled the monument when he allegedly ripped a piece of liner out of the Pool.

Hearn was arrested for the alleged vandalization a couple weeks ago. The 67-year-old was held at the Park Police facility for about five hours before he was released that same day.

Since then, the Olympian has held his stance he did not destroy, break, or peel off any portion of the Reflecting Pool.

Trump was quick to condemn his act and any other attempts to vandalize the Reflecting Pool ... and as the drawn-out renovation project that caused this whole fiasco in the first place continues ... the monument is surrounded by fencing and constant surveillance by AI security cameras on the heels of July 4th weekend.

A former Hawaii real estate big shot allegedly had sex in his luxury listings during a years-long affair with his assistant ... and now, lawsuits are flying.

Stephen Cipres, who founded Corcoran Pacific Properties, allegedly did the deed with his executive assistant Sarah Dombrose inside 10 to 20 homes over the course of 4 years, according to bombshell legal docs obtained by Honolulu Civil Beat.

In her affidavit obtained by the outlet, Dombrose said she began working for Cipres in 2021, and he quickly made a move on her by kissing her at an open house they were hosting. Dombrose said the interaction was not welcomed but said she felt she had to give in to his advances because she was in a rocky marriage and needed the job to support 3 kids.

Records reportedly show Cipres would cut her $50,000 checks at times throughout their work together.

Victims in the California State Parks hidden-camera scandal are speaking out for the first time ... describing the gut punch they say came with learning they may have been secretly recorded while changing at work.

Two employees appeared Thursday alongside attorneys Gloria Allred and John West, who announced they filed a lawsuit Wednesday on behalf of four current parks employees alleging former supervisor Kevin Pearsall secretly recorded workers inside the men's locker room at Bolsa Chica State Beach.

Former lifeguard and current park aide Matthew Dawson told reporters he "couldn't believe it" after learning about the allegations, while Richard Corey -- a senior park aide manager -- called the allegations "the ultimate betrayal of trust."
