Stefon Diggs’ release in New England raised plenty of eyebrows -- but not Warren Moon’s.

We caught up with the Hall of Fame quarterback after the news of Diggs’ release broke, and the legendary QB tells TMZ Sports the move made sense given the circumstances surrounding the veteran receiver.

“You know, it doesn't surprise me,” Moon told Babcock moments after the news broke. “He brings a lot of baggage wherever he goes right now. He has off-the-field stuff, and he wasn't as productive over the last part of the season as he had been in the first part of the season.”

The move is notable considering Diggs actually produced in his lone season in Foxborough -- starting all 17 games and hauling in 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns while serving as Drake Maye’s most targeted receiver in the young QB’s second season.

Myles Garrett got another speeding ticket last month -- this time, cops say they clocked the Cleveland Browns superstar going 94 in a 70 MPH zone.

TMZ Sports has confirmed the defensive standout's green Porsche was pulled over on the highway on Feb. 21 around 1:35 AM ... hours after he showed face at the Miami (OH) basketball game against Bowling Green.

Although he was busted going 24 over the limit, the cop noted the two-time Defensive Player of the Year was "kind and cooperative" in the remarks section of the ticket.

Stefon Diggs is dealing with another breakup -- the New England Patriots are going to release him.

The news came minutes ago -- with Tom Pelissero saying the team alerted the receiver the move will be made official after the start of the new season next week.

Diggs caught 85 balls for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns during New England's return to greatness in 2025 ... helping the team get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the Tom Brady era.

The Kansas City Chiefs' decision to ship Trent McDuffie outta town sent shockwaves through the NFL world Wednesday morning ... and his former quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, is bummed out about the move -- posting a one-word response shortly after the news broke.

Tyreek Hill is without an NFL home, but he still picked up a win in his ongoing legal battle with Sophie Hall ... as a judge denied the mode's request to force the receiver to take a court-mandated psych exam -- TMZ Sports has learned.

Judge David Haines filed his decision recently ... denying a motion filed by Hall's legal team in December that was looking to make Hill sit down with a licensed psychologist to determine "the full scope of Defendant's mental state, aggression and culpability."

Her filing stated that it was "critical" for Hall to have Hill go through that exam, saying they needed an expert who specializes in the field "to evaluate the defendant's longstanding pattern of anger and aggression towards others, particularly women, his documented history of violent behavior, including issues related to anger management, impulse control and aggression, which are directly in controversy and forms a critical component of this case."

Kyler Murray's time with the Arizona Cardinals is set to end a week from Wednesday as the team plans to release him at the start of the new league year -- and the former first overall pick penned an emotional farewell to the city ... apologizing for not bringing home a Super Bowl.

The news broke on Tuesday that barring a trade between now and next week, the team will release him once the clock strikes 4 PM ET on March 11.

The viral snowball fight in New York City had some star power -- 49ers QB Mac Jones was in the park -- before things went south.

Jones shared video of the wild scene on his TikTok account, showing off his view of the massive gathering in Manhattan's Washington Square Park ... as MJ and his buddy even got a few throws in (Mac was slingin' those snowballs!).

Of course, it was all fun and games until it wasn't ... as the gathering is now being remembered for all the wrong reasons, as a group of agitators turned their attention to some NYPD officers walking through the crowd, pelting them with snowballs.

Tributes continue to pour in across the NFL world after the tragic passing of Rondale Moore Saturday in Indiana ... with former and current teammates, and even players who never took a snap with Moore taking time to remember the 25-year-old.

"Can't even begin to fathom or process this," J.J. Watt -- who played with Moore for two seasons in Arizona -- said. "Way too soon. Way too special. So much left to give. Rest in peace, Rondale."

Both Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Marquise Brown said they had just spoken with Rondale recently, who was, police said, found within a garage with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police.

Tyler Shough made a helluva impression on not just Saints fans, but even their star players ... so much so that Cam Jordan tells TMZ Sports he believes the rookie could be their franchise quarterback.

The New Orleans Saints have been searching for a new signal caller since Drew Brees retired .... and despite bringing in signal-callers like Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, and Derek Carr, they just haven't found their guy.

Rondale Moore died from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

Chief Todd Bailey of the New Albany, IN Police Department tells TMZ Sports ... the 25-year-old was "found deceased in the garage of the property of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound."

Bailey says the investigation remains ongoing and, due to its active status, no additional information will be released at this time.

Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro's relationship is in the crapper, literally ... 'cause the bathroom has actually become a point of contention in the divorce case, with Cheetah's estranged wife asking a judge to force the NFL star to pay for repairs.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Vaccaro says the plumbing issue dates back to when the couple's marriage was still intact, but the repairs were never made.

Now, Vaccaro says the plumbing problem has gotten the attention of her building's management because it has apparently begun to damage "another units or units."

Michael Irvin isn’t letting retirement weigh him down -- literally.

The Hall of Famer jumped on social media Thursday and filmed himself standing on a scale to prove he’s only packed on one pound since his playing days … and he even kept his shoes on while doing it.

“I played at 212," he said. "In all of them years I’ve been away from the game, n****, I’ve put on one pound,” Irvin said, locking in on the number like it was a defensive back.
