The Big Apple is packed with more stars than usual this week thanks to Fashion Week, but the real action is taking place after the sun goes down. Last night, we were outside the exclusive Heatherette party to bring you yet another exciting NY Star Catcher.

The paparazzi went absolutely wild, as stars Nick Cannon, the milkshaker herself Kelis and "Sopranos" star Jamie-Lynn Sigler rolled by. Victoria Beckham, Mena Suvari and our favorite redhead Miss Lohan also set off a flashbulb frenzy.

While Paris was off hooking up with Travis Barker, we spotted her sister with billionaire party friend Brandon Davis as they left the celeb-filled bash.

All this and much more in this Big Apple version of Star Catcher.

The stars were out on Tuesday night and TMZ's ace cameraman Josh Levine was there to catch all the action going down.

Our first stop of the night was trendy restaurant Mr. Chow where we ran into Al Michaels. The legendary sportscaster showed up to the spot solo, giving TMZ a quick shout out on his way in.

From there it was off to Les Deux where we were invited to Mark Burnett's launch party for his Gold Rush, his new online treasure hunt with AOL. The guest list was filled with celebs like "That 70's Show" star Wilmer Valderrama, funny girl Kathy Griffin and the stunning Tori Spelling who worked the red carpet with (and without) husband Dean McDermott.

Jessica Simpson may have a lot of fans (at least that's what we're told) but during a shopping trip in Beverly Hills the paparazzi sure weren't singing her praises.

On Tuesday, Simpson made a high profile entrance into luxury department store Barneys New York by valeting her SUV under the watchful eyes of the eager photogs.

While the paparazzi waited for her afternoon excursion to come to an end, Jess decided to keep her exit on the down low.

Instead of picking up her car from the valet area, which would have provided yet another photo op, Simpson got in her SUV from within the store's parking garage and, in effect, denied the paparazzi the chance of having their Simpson Kodak moment.

The photogs didn't take well to Simpson's diabolical plan and loudly booed her as she drove off.

While no one appreciates getting booed, at least Jessica can take comfort in that, unlike sister Ashlee, it wasn't for her singing.

Jay Kay, frontman for the once-popular band Jamiroquai, became enraged when he thought a throng of photographers waiting outside of a nightclub were there for him. Apparently Jay Kay thought it was 1996. As it turns out the paparazzi were there hoping to spot Lindsay Lohan.

It seems the thought of being famous enraged Jay Kay so much that he started hurling obscenties and then throwing punches at the shutterbugs. At that point, the cameramen did care and flashbulbs started popping. Rowan Lawrence, one photographer at the scene, told the Daily Mirror, "There was no provocation for his actions and the guy had done nothing when Jay hit him around the face."

A spokesman for Kay said, "I can confirm that Jay Kay was involved in an altercation with a photographer last night. He has been interviewed by the police and released with a caution."

TMZ set up shop outside the Marc Jacobs fashion show after party in NY last night, where the guest list was off the hook.

Paris and Nicky Hilton brought their usual gang of hangers-on to the shindig, including "Greasy Bear" himself, Brandon Davis.
Rocker Travis Barker also hit the event, along with "Wild 'N Out" star Nick Cannon, Lil' Kim, Jared Leto, hip-hop star Kanye West, tennis beauty Serena Williams and R&B sensation Usher.

The stars where out on Monday night at Hyde and Shag and our very own Josh Levine was on hand to catch all the action.

Our first stop was Hyde, where Oscar winner Adrien Brody made a rare appearance on the club scene. The "King Kong" actor made a quick dash into the club after stopping to pose with a needy fan. As for the usuals, "Laguna Beach" alum Kristin Cavallari rolled in, as well as a new and improved Jack Osbourne, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, and Maroon 5's Micky Madden.

Finally it was off to Shag, where TMZ caught up with funny man Dane Cook and Taye Diggs.

When asked about John Mayer, Jessica dodged, sarcastically saying, "My private life is so private!"

She told photographers to be careful of her car while ignoring several more questions. Simpson only responded directly when she was told she looked great -- that got a "thank you guys" from the star.

But the punchline came later, when Jessica left a camera store and hopped behind the wheel. "It stinks in here!" said the pop singer, "Sorry, there's food in here. I promise I didn't fart".

After the paparazzi spotted the couple quietly dining at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica Saturday night, chaos quickly ensued. The photogs were locked and loaded outside the restaurant waiting for the famous couple to exit, when an army of restaurant employees came to the rescue by holding up their aprons and obstructing the cameras as best they could.

Even Giorgio Baldi himself stepped in, jumping in front of the lenses of the lingering photographers.

Guess Tom left one heck of a tip!

TMZ's cameras were rollin' in the Big Apple this weekend as the celebs hit the streets in style.

Our first stop was the Gramercy Park Hotel, where a huge fashion party brought out Kanye West and his new fiancée Alexis. The hip-hop star showed up in true blinged-out fashion, sporting a giant gold chain and some rockin' white sunglasses. Other stars on hand for the fashion bash were former "OC" star Mischa Barton, Nicky Hilton, Brandon Davis (A.K.A. Greasy Bear), pop sensation Paris Hilton and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons who borrowed James Blunt's girlfriend Petra Nemcova for the event.

Paris Hilton showed up to her usual spot Hyde last night trying to look incognito with a brown wig. Despite the disguise, the future pop princess was seen by just about everyone as she tried to sneak out the back door of the club with her uber-publicist Elliot Mintz.

Matt Damon also checked out the festivities, looking mighty dapper in his gray suit. Unlike Paris, the "Oceans 13" star exited out the front door of the club, only to be immediately hounded by autograph seekers and photogs hoping for a shot of the superstar.

Also on board for the evening, un-fan friendly Avril Lavigne, Brody Jenner and freshly-single Travis Barker.

TMZ's cameras were all over the Big Apple hanging out with fans as they tried to get a quick glimpse of their favorite stars.

We spotted the stunning Carmen Electra looking the best she ever has (at least that's what she told the television show EXTRA). We agree! The estranged wife of rocker Dave Navarro was seen leaving Radio City Music Hall, but not be before stopping to pose for the cameras.

It was quite an eventful evening for Kate Moss on the sixth of September. The supermodel spent most of the evening dining on oysters and sipping wine with friends and, of course, was swarmed by paparazzi. The photogs actually followed Moss home and watched as she struggled to find the correct key for her own door, finally giving up and going over to a neighbors to wait while assistance arrived.

During her struggle to open the door, Kate intermittently exchanged harsh words and shared a few laughs with the paparazzi.

Sarah Jessica Parker looked more like a fighter than a fashionista as she bobbed and weaved from paparazzi on the streets of New York.

The "Sex and the City" star normally just asks the photogs to leave her alone, but this time she chose to use the 'hiding behind the friend' technique. Unfortunately for Parker, that plan didn't work out so well.

Maybe the starlet was just in a hurry to check on her husband Matthew Broderick who recently broke his collarbone in a freak horse riding accident.

Prior to realizing her bag was stolen, Lindsay Lohan walked through London's Heathrow airport on Thursday with boyfriend Harry Morton in tow.

The sunglass-wearing duo walked hand-in-hand as paparazzi amusingly engaged La Lohan.

Moments later, as TMZ first reported, Lohan would become visibly upset upon noticing her Hermès Birkin bag, reportedly containing up to $1 million worth of merchandise and vital medication, was missing from her luggage cart.

On Friday, London Metropolitan Police recovered the bag. It is still unclear what, if anything, is missing.

Although we are happy her Birkin was found, the last thing Linds needs is any more baggage.

Christina Aguilera sparked a flashbulb frenzy in New York last night at one of the sexiest events the Big Apple has ever seen. Lil' Kim also kept the red carpet blazing, along with MAC's newest spokeswomen Dita Von Teese and Lisa Marie Presley at the MAC Viva Glam party in New York City.
