Perez Hilton's undergoing a psychiatric evaluation in the hospital after his alarming behavior on a live stream ... and while he's long gone from the Miami-area home where this all went down, the property is still flooded with police.
Photos taken outside Perez's house Wednesday show several uniformed officers standing near yellow police tape ... guarding the area after Tuesday night's concerning incident.
Perez Hilton was stressing out over money and struggling to adjust to his new life in Miami in the weeks leading up to a concerning live stream that resulted in a police response and hospitalization.
Sources familiar tell TMZ ... when Perez put his 4 million-dollar Las Vegas house up on the market and abruptly moved to Miami in June, he was telling people he was very stressed out about finances, overwhelmed, and hustling, looking for ways to make some dough.
We're told life was good for Perez in Vegas -- he got a lot of comps and was treated well for his local celebrity status -- and he assumed he'd get the same love in South Miami. He didn't. So, on top of money issues -- the freebies were gone.
Perez Hilton's team and family are speaking out after his alarming TikTok Live and subsequent hospitalization ... confirming he's receiving medical care and asking everyone to give him space.
In a statement posted to Perez's website Wednesday, his team and family say ... "Many of you have reached out with concern for Perez, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers."
The statement continues ... "We can confirm that Perez is receiving medical care, and our family’s focus right now is on his well-being."
Perez Hilton's move from Las Vegas to Miami was meant to put his family first, but TMZ has learned the major life change took an emotional toll on him before his alarming live stream and hospitalization.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Perez moved primarily for his older mom Teresita, who has family in Miami and wasn't happy living in Vegas.
We're told Perez began prioritizing family after his near-death experience in March, which required a 21-day hospital stay.
Our sources say he prayed about the decision and believed moving to Miami would make his mom happy.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family.

Perez Hilton was at the center of a police response in Miami-Dade after authorities received reports he was livestreaming alarming behavior, TMZ has learned.
Alarming video from Perez’s TikTok Live appeared to show him bloodied and visibly distressed.
A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ ... deputies received multiple calls about the live stream and quickly located his residence.
Perez Hilton's alarming TikTok live stream caused the platform to speedily alert law enforcement and permanently ban his account, despite reports the stream continued for half an hour, TMZ has learned.
A TikTok U.S. spokesperson tells TMZ ... "Our automated moderation systems flagged the live stream within minutes and routed it to our U.S. moderation team for review. However, a moderator error caused a delay in the removal."
The spokesperson adds ... "We proactively alerted law enforcement to the situation to help get the individual support." TikTok is also pushing back on claims the live stream remained live for roughly 30 minutes, telling us that's "factually wrong."
