Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar was caught wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase, "You are doing a good job," amid the federal government shutdown, but she wasn't talking about herself.
Instead ... Klobuchar wore the shirt for a bunch of students while attending a high school event held at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN on Friday morning.
Check out these photos, obtained by TMZ ... the democratic Senator is standing on stage giving a speech during a robotics competition as the now-43-day partial government shutdown, which targets the Department of Homeland Security, wages on in Washington, D.C.
If Justin Gaethje gets his hand raised during UFC Freedom 250 at the White House … don’t be surprised if he turns straight to President Donald Trumpfor the ultimate victory moment.
That’s according to Gaethje’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, who tells TMZ Sports the UFC star would want the POTUS himself in the octagon if he’s victorious over Ilia Topuria in their headlining lightweight title fight.
“You better believe it,” Abdelaziz said. “If Justin Gaethje wins, he will ask President Trump to put the belt on him.”
Picture it: Gaethje center cage, UFC boss Dana Whiteon one side … Trump on the other.
President Trump went full Salt-N-Pepa today -- telling a crowd that no question is off limits ... especially if it's about getting it on!
Trump was getting ready for a Q&A segment Friday at an investment summit in Florida when he inexplicably told the crowd ... "You can ask me anything you want. You can talk sex."
POTUS says, unlike other politicians, he doesn't screen questions beforehand ... so folks at the Saudi-backed investment conference could ask "whatever question they want."
No word if anyone took Trump up on his offer for an impromptu talk about the birds and the bees ... but the prez made sure to make it clear, "I am here for you."
It's unclear if Salt-N-Pepa will send a cease and desist. Kidding.
Bernie Sanders is straight outta D.C. ... joining the Congressional parade into their 2-week vacay, despite the fact your elected officials did NOT pass a bill to end the partial government shutdown.
The U.S. Senator from Vermont left in style too, flying first class out of Reagan National Friday at 2:42 PM ET ... which is significant, because that was just minutes after House Speaker Mike Johnson shot down the bill Sanders and the rest of the Senate passed at 2 AM Friday to pay TSA officers.
The House of Representatives is expected to vote late Friday on a new bill, but even if it passes ... just about everyone in the Senate's skipped town, so they won't be able to vote on the new legislation.
Donald Trumpspoke out following Tiger Woods’ rollover crash before it was announced the golf star was busted for DUI … and he’s clearly got concerns.
The POTUS was asked about Woods following Friday's frightening incident in Jupiter, FL … and while he didn’t dive into specifics as he remarked from a tarmac next to Air Force 1, his tone said plenty.
“I feel so bad. He's got some difficulty -- there was an accident, and that's all I know,” Trump said. “A very close friend of mine, he's an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty. I don't want to talk about it.”
Claudia Jordan says she and President Donald Trump used to be pals ... but the man in the Oval Office isn't one she recognizes anymore -- and she's calling out his mental state.
We spoke with the 'Real Housewives' star at the Better Brother Truth Awards at the Beverly Hilton last weekend ... and we asked her how she feels about the current state of affairs in American politics -- and Claudia isn't optimistic.
She tells us Americans gotta have some good karma coming their way after dealing with all the "bulls***" they've been putting up with in recent months.
SenatorTed Cruz is on a plane right now after jetting out of Washington D.C., hours after the Senate voted to end the shutdown -- but he may need a return ticket after the bill to end the shutdown is about to get 86'd by the House.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune also booked it out of D.C., hopping a plane Friday AM at Reagan National Airport ... with the assistance of an escort, of course. It looks like the House is not on board with the Senate's version of how to reopen the government.
We're not gonna dwell on the reasons the proposed solution is falling apart -- check the NYT for that -- but we are gonna dwell on the fact these members of Congress are leaving their jobs for a 2-week recess, as thousands of federal workers go without pay for a 4th week.
A member of former First Lady Jill Biden's Secret Service security detail shot himself in the leg while escorting her through an airport in Pennsylvania.
The accidental shooting went down Friday morning at Philadelphia International Airport ... according to KYW Newsradio.
Police in Philly say the Secret Service agent is hospitalized and in stable condition. As for the location ...
The President of the United States called into the hit Fox News show "The Five" ... and Dana Perino -- the former White House Press Secretary under George W. Bush -- mentioned people all over the country are watching the Ryan Murphy show 'Love Story' about the pair's relationship.
President Trump says the two knew each other ... and, believe it or not, he says the two actually got along quite well.
Senator Marsha Blackburn tried hiding in plain view as she slithered out of Washington D.C. ... hours BEFORE her colleagues voted on a bill that would provide thousands of federal workers with what they need to survive -- A PAYCHECK.
The Tennessee Senator used an escort to shield herself from the camera as she made her way to the security checkpoint at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Blackburn, who's running for Governor of Tennessee, got out of Dodge at 6 PM ... 8 hours before the Senate voted to restore funding to TSA, FEMA, certain Coast Guard members and other federal workers who have gone without pay for a month.
Pete Hegseth blocked the promotion of four diverse Army officers to the rank of One-Star General ... according to a New York Times report.
NYT -- citing current and former senior military officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity -- reports two of the officers targeted by the Secretary of War are Black, and two are women.
Secretary Hegseth had reportedly been trying to convince military officials -- including Army Secretary Daniel P. Driscoll -- to remove the officers' names for months ... before ultimately just unilaterally making the decision.
FBI Director Kash Patel has been attacked -- or rather, his personal email has been -- because his account just got compromised by suspected Iran-linked hackers.
According to multiple reports ... the hacker group Handala Hack Team claimed responsibility for the cyber invasion -- and said Patel "will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims."
Reuters reviewed some material from the alleged Patel account, uploaded by the group ... which reportedly was a mix of personal and work correspondence between 2010 and 2019.
A Justice Department official confirmed to the news outlet that Patel's account was hacked ... but offered no details about what was taken -- or the investigation into the perpetrators.
The cyber attack struck as the Iran War carries on ... while PresidentTrump claims ongoing talks to end the conflict have been successful.
President Donald Trump somehow turned a conversation about the war in Iran into an opportunity to claim he's a hit with the gay community in the U.S.
During a phone interview with "The Five" on Fox News, host Jesse Watters asked the president about "Ayatollah Jr." -- an apparent nickname for Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, who took over as Iran's new supreme leader when his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was assassinated.
Jesse asked Trump about the leader's rumored assassination before speculating about his sexuality, saying ... "You kind of suggested we knocked out Ayatollah Junior, have we? And did the CIA tell you that Ayatollah Junior's gay?"
As TSA officers are selling their blood to keep a roof over their heads, members of Congress are packing their bags for a 2-week vacation, and WE WANT THE PICS!
Since compromise isn't working, maybe some shame will, and that's why we're asking everyone to be on the lookout over the next 2 weeks for the folks who "work" on Capitol Hill, enjoying their leisure time.
Rebecca Wolf is down with this, because she's a TSA agent who is struggling in every sense of the word. She told us on "TMZ Live" Thursday she's losing everything, including her health and sanity, over the shutdown. Rebecca's last paycheck was February 28th, for a grand total of $13 and change.
Kevin Sorbois calling out the Spanish government for the voluntary euthanasia of Noelia Castillo Ramos -- a fate he suggests would've been more appropriate for her alleged rapists -- and other celebs are also weighing in.
The actor posted a fiery condemnation on X today, saying the European country has blood on its hands, writing ... "Spain decided to give the death penalty to the victim, not the men who gang rped her. Our world is broken."
The post immediately went viral and even got the attention of Elon Musk, who agreed with Kevin, commenting, "So f***ed up." Tristan Tate, Andrew Tate's brother, also had thoughts.
Cheryl Hines spoke out about Chelsea Handler's claims that Cheryl and her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., sold her an unlivable home 5 years ago ... and her response seems simple -- Nobody wants to hear about your champagne problems!
In an interview on the "Tomi Lahren Is Fearless" podcast, Cheryl said, "I don't know that she's getting a lot of sympathy from people. She's buying a $6 million house."
The "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star claims Chelsea's complaints don't "really hold water" because they're coming years after the sale ... and Cheryl says she gave Chelsea an opportunity to express any concerns at the time of purchase.
