Trista Sutter has a perfectly good reason for being MIA from her husband and family last month -- it has nothing to do with the state of her marriage, and everything to do with her returning to reality TV.

ICYMI ... fans of the first ever 'Bachelorette' were sent into a tizzy when Trista's husband, Ryan Sutter, posted a cryptic message on social media about missing her on Mother's Day ... playing it very coy about her whereabouts.

Trista eventually resurfaced online, reuniting with her family in Mexico and giving an equally vague message about her mysterious disappearance. The whole thing was bizarre -- but now TMZ has learned exactly what was behind it.

Khloe Kardashian went out to grab a bite with her ex, Tristan Thompson this weekend -- without any kids around -- and while some might've thought the spark was back ... it ain't.

KK and Tristan were photographed walking out of Nobu Malibu Sunday -- where they were clearly dining together ... even though they appeared to stagger their exits, and ended up leaving in separate cars.

There were lots of other people with them, but none of their children -- which raised alarms among some who thought they were back together ... but we're told that's just not the case.

Current "Baddies" and "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Tommie Lee ended her Sunday night in handcuffs ... as cops arrested her over a weird incident that allegedly went down at LIV Nightclub.

According to Miami PD records, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, cops arrived on the scene to find Tommie being restrained by a man who claims he had just been assaulted by the 39-year-old reality star.

The man told cops he was standing outside the entrance to LIV when he was approached by TL, who he thinks was trying to hand him an unknown object. The guy says he didn't accept the item, because he'd never met Tommie.

Carly Lawrence -- famous for appearing in the Netflix reality dating series "Too Hot To Handle" -- is pulling the plug on her marriage ... because she just filed for divorce.

The reality TV star beelined it to court Monday and filed for a dissolution of marriage from her husband -- "Love Island USA" star Bennett Sipes -- after 2 years of marriage.

Adam Levine is making a reality TV comeback ... returning to "The Voice" after several seasons away from the singing competition show.

The Maroon 5 frontman just announced his upcoming return as a coach on the NBC show ... he'll be back for Season 27, premiering next spring -- and in a video announcement he says he's well rested and ready to roll.

A trio of "Jeopardy!" contestants clearly needed to brush up on their sports knowledge prior to appearing on the game show Tuesday night ... 'cause they missed on some serious softballs, including one that simply asked them to identify NBA superstar Russell Westbrook.

The category that the three hilariously botched was titled "21st CENTURY SPORTS" ... and it became very clear quickly why it was the last subject the contestants took on in the first round of the contest.
