Britney Spears’ ex Kevin Federline is rewinding to the night before their 2004 "I do" ... claiming he got one hell of a shock when he caught her on the phone with her ex, Justin Timberlake.

Chatting with Kevin Frazier about his new memoir, "You Thought You Knew," K-Fed says the late-night call raised serious red flags, and he told Britney he wasn’t down to get married if she was still hung up on her ex ... but she brushed it off, saying she was giving Justin a final send-off.

Kevin says he thought it was pretty weird for Britney to be dialing up Justin the night before their wedding ... but he took her word for it, figuring she was just closing that chapter of her life.

Former "Good Morning America" cohosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have battled rumors for years that they carried on a love affair while still married to their respective spouses ... and surprise, surprise -- now they're engaged!

Amy spilled the tea on Tuesday's episode of the "Amy & TJ" podcast, gushing, "We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now."

T.J. added, "We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship."

Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline is raising concerns about her in his new memoir ... he says she's not OK since her conservatorship ended, and writes, "The truth is, this situation with Britney feels like it's racing toward something irreversible."

K-Fed's got a new memoir, "You Thought You Knew," dropping next Tuesday, and he sat down for an interview with The New York Times and gave the newspaper an advance copy ... in the book he writes, "Something bad is going to happen if things don't change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces."

Britney's ex says it's "become impossible to pretend everything's OK" with Britney and adds ... "From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we're getting close to the 11th hour."

"Next Gen NYC" stars Ariana Biermannn and Hudson McLeroy are no longer dating ... Ariana just announced their split.

In her Instagram Story Tuesday, Ariana says ... "Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways, while these things are never easy, we both know it's what's best for us right now."

Ariana continues, "We are so grateful for all the love and support you've shown us over the yers. Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that's okay <3 you all."

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Max was arrested Tuesday night for battery on a person 65 or older ... and the charge involves domestic violence on a family member.

We're told Max posted $1,000 bond and was released from jail Wednesday.
