Usher's ex-wife, Tameka, wants a judge to punish him for being a lousy dad who does whatever the hell he pleases with their kids and makes her life a living hell ... this according to court documents she's filed in Georgia.
The problem ... she says ... back in July, Usher stormed out of a co-parenting class they were ordered to attend ... and he hasn't been back since. She says she's begged him to return -- but so far, he's just ignored her.
Usher has primary custody of their two sons ... but she says he's supposed to make important family decisions with her -- especially decisions about schooling, travel and activities.
Tameka says ... he's shut her out. She never knows where he takes the boys or what he's doing with them. She's especially pissed that he signed up one of the boys for football practice -- without her approval.
She wants a judge to hold Usher in contempt and order him to be a better co-parent.
We tried reaching Usher, but no luck.

Usher's son is out of the hospital and sporting a huge bandage on his arm ... after nearly drowning last week -- and the kid's already jumping back into some hardcore playing.
5-year-old Usher Raymond V was spotted with his grandma leaving an indoor play center called Mighty Jumps in Atlanta Monday -- a party space filled with moon bounces and flying children -- exactly one week after he had to be rescued when his arm got stuck in a pool drain.
Lil Ush was looking good ... and brought his baby bro along for the fun too.
Hero Speaks Out
'Thank God I Was There'

The man who saved Usher's 5-year-old son from drowning has the humble hero thing down pat -- telling TMZ it was all just part of his job ... which was really supposed to be installing a new home studio ... TMZ has learned.
Eugene Stachurski was installing pro recording equipment in Usher's basement last Monday (with fellow audio/visual contractor Ben Crews) when Usher Raymond V's arm got trapped in the pool's drain -- and he tells us, "I thank God I was there to do something."
Stachurski and Crews both dove into the pool to save the boy and Stachurski performed CPR, while Usher's aunt called 911. Before the ambulance arrived, Usher V was breathing fine.
Stachurski says he's overjoyed Usher's son survived and he hopes to see him again soon.
The man's extremely dedicated to his job too -- after Stachurski helped save Usher V's life, he says he finished up the A/V installation in the basement ... like nothing happened.
For the record, Usher (the singer) has already publicly thanked Stachurski and Crews. Stachurski tells us Usher thanked him privately as well. Nice.

Usher's 5-year-old son is recovering well after his tragic pool accident earlier this week ... and doing what every recovering sick kid in the hospital does ... watching "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air."
Usher's ex Tameka Raymond posted this photo of lil' Usher to her Instagram Saturday, with the caption, "Woke up cheerful, happy and hungry ... watching Fresh Prince. What does he know about Fresh Prince? lol."
TMZ broke the story ... Usher's son was hospitalized after he almost drowned in a pool under the care of his aunt. His parents decided to keep him under doctors' care until they were 100% sure he was okay.
He's expected to be released from the hospital this weekend.
Usher & Tameka
BEFORE Pool Accident
8/10/2013 12:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond were on the brink of war BEFORE their son almost drowned in a pool ... and it was all over child support payments, TMZ has learned.
Usher filed legal docs earlier this month asking a judge to lower his child support payment to Tameka. As it stood, Usher was shelling out $8,000 / month for the couple's 2 sons ... which he claims is BS.
Here's why ... Usher says that child support amount is from an old agreement and hasn't been changed since he was granted PRIMARY custody last year. He says he's been overpaying the last 7 months and wants a judge to remedy the situation.
Usher requested a hearing on the matter -- but so far, no date has been set.
TMZ broke the story ... Tameka and Usher were ALREADY in court this week, battling over custody. Tameka asked a judge to grant her MORE custody -- claiming Usher's to blame for their son's pool accident -- but she was shot down.
Usher Custody War
But Gets an Usher Hug

After a bitterly contentious hearing and drama surrounding the near-death of their son, Usher showed an unbelievably classy move in court Friday -- hugging his ex-wife Tameka after the judge dismissed her request for primary custody.
Pretty shocking ... especially considering the painfully awkward silence that preceded the hearing.
Tameka filed an emergency request for primary custody after her and Usher's 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V nearly drowned in a pool on Monday. Usher currently has primary custody of their two boys.
In court Friday, Tameka used the pool accident as an example of Usher being an inattentive father, who employs incompetent caretakers -- in this case his aunt Rena -- to look after their children.
Usher's lawyer shot back, insisting Usher's a great dad and the children are thriving with him, despite the recent pool accident ... which, Usher argued, could have happened to anybody.
During questioning, Tameka broke down in tears talking about her son's accident, saying she didn't know if her child suffered permanent brain or heart damage.
FYI, Usher Raymond V is still in the hospital -- Tameka claimed it's because of lingering complications, including a low heart rate. Usher said it's because he doesn't want his son discharged before doctors are 100% sure he's okay.
In the end, the judge sided with Usher, ruling the current custody order should stay in place ... meaning Usher keeps primary custody, and Tameka gets a little.

Most Awkward Silence Ever

If you don't believe that Usher and his ex-wife Tameka hate each other -- just watch this video ... if you can.
Usher and Tameka are in court right now -- where their custody battle is set to go down -- but while their lawyers were in chambers, the ex-couple sat in strained awkward silence for a full ten minutes ... it was painful.
Marriage, folks. How about it.
Is a Bad Mom
8/9/2013 9:54 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Usher has denied every allegation his ex-wife has made in her motion to wrestle custody away from the singer in the wake of Usher Raymond V's nearly fatal pool accident -- he's even denied she's a good mom.
In the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Usher is not specific about what he's denying ... he just denies, denies, denies.
Tameka Raymond made various allegations, including that Usher was an absentee parent for 85% of the month, that his aunt failed to properly supervise the boy at the swimming pool, and that he has said he'd prefer that the nanny raise his kids. Usher denied everything.
And there's this ... Tameka claims she's a capable mother. Usher denied that, too.
The hearing is set for 2 PM ET. We're in court, so stay tuned.
Usher's Ex-Wife to Aunt
Say It To My Face!!!
How'd My Son Nearly Die On Your Watch?
8/9/2013 12:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Usher's ex-wife has one serious question before her emergency custody hearing today -- how the hell is it possible to let a 5-year-old nearly drown if you're supposed to be babysitting him? -- and only Usher's aunt can answer it ... but she's nowhere to be found.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Tameka Raymond attempted to serve Usher's aunt Rena with a subpoena to testify at the custody hearing today -- where Tameka will argue she deserves primary custody of her and Usher's two sons -- but Rena couldn't be tracked down.
We're told Tameka wanted Rena at the hearing so her lawyers could ask about what led up to the near-drowning of her 5-year-old son on Monday ... when Rena was supposed to be watching him ... but without the subpoena, Rena doesn't have to show up.
Even without Rena, however, Tameka has plenty of ammo to fight for custody -- and we're told her biggest weapon is that there was no drain cover on the pool the day Usher Raymond V nearly drowned.
As we reported, the 5-year-old got his arm caught in the drain and nearby contractors had to dive in to save him. Rena called 911.
Usher currently has primary custody of the ex-couple's two sons ... but Tameka hopes to change that today.
After Horrific Pool Accident

Usher's ex-wife is clearly trying to prove a point ... she's a caring mother who deserves custody of their sons -- after the eldest nearly drowned this week -- and this photo tells the story.
Tameka Raymond posted the photo today, the first pic of 5-year-old Usher Raymond V since the horrific accident on Monday ... and it paints a picture of motherly love and protection. Tameka's arms are wrapped around her son, and he's surrounded by get-well-soon balloons.
It's a subtle dig at Usher ... who is noticeably absent.
As we reported, Tameka is blaming Usher for the pool accident, claiming he isn't an attentive father -- despite having primary custody of their two boys -- and she's already filed legal docs attempting to get custody back.

Usher is publicly thanking the men who saved his son from drowning in a pool this week ... but the mother of one of the heroes wants Usher to show his gratitude in a different way -- by becoming a wedding singer ... TMZ has learned.
The mother of Ben Crews -- the audio-video worker who pulled Usher Raymond V out of his great aunt's pool -- tells us her son is getting hitched next week, and she thinks it would be a nice gesture for Usher to sing at the wedding.
Mama Leigh Crews tells us Ben isn't expecting any money for his heroic deed -- but she says a tune or 2 would make his wedding unforgettable.
Usher released a statement saying "I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them."
We called Usher's rep. So far no word back on whether Ben will get a really good reception.
Smiling, Laughing, Eating
After Near-Death Pool Accident

Usher's 5-year-old son is showing miraculous signs of improvement after nearly drowning in a pool the other day -- in fact, we're told he's already sitting up in bed at the hospital, eating, laughing, and talking to people ... BUT, it may be days before he's released.
Sources close to the family tell us, Usher Raymond V is still in the ICU -- where he's being kept in a private area -- he's expected to be released in the next couple of days.
According to sources, the boy's mother Tameka -- Usher's ex-wife -- hasn't left the hospital since the accident.
As we reported, Tameka blames Usher for putting their son in an environment that led to the near-drowning accident on Monday. She has already filed legal docs seeking primary custody.
Usher's Decision Almost
Killed Our Kid
8/7/2013 8:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, has filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which she blames the singer for the near-death pool accident that landed their 5-year-old in ICU.
In the docs, Tameka claims Usher Raymond V was left unsupervised in the swimming pool when his arm got stuck in the drain. Tameka says Usher delegated his supervisory responsibilities to his aunt ... who she believes was not on the ball.
Tameka, who is asking for temporary primary custody of their two children, says it's typical that Usher delegates responsibility for their kids ... because he's out of town 85% of the time every month.
What's more, she says Usher had fired every caregiver who was on staff when he was awarded primary custody ... and she's clearly saying the replacements are not up to snuff.
In the documents, which were filed Tuesday -- the day after the pool accident -- Tameka wants decision-making power over the children's education, healthcare, religion and extracurricular activities.
The hearing has been set for Friday at 2pm ET.
