"30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan admitted in court today to consuming alcohol on August 4 -- a violation of his probation stemming from a DUI conviction.
As a result, Morgan was ordered to wear the SCRAM device an additional 80 days and complete 10 AA meetings by October 23.
If he violates his probation again, Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan tells TMZ that Morgan would go to County Jail for 30 days.
Morgan violated his probation in Los Angeles when he was arrested for D.U.I. on November 28 of last year in New York.
Tracy's rep, Matthew Hiltzik, tells TMZ: "Tracy's monitoring bracelet has consistently confirmed his sobriety. While the device's lone positive finding -- at a recent stand-up comedy club performance -- was contested, Tracy has decided to wear the bracelet for an extra month to further prove he's remained alcohol-free."

Crazy actin' comedian Tracy Morgan was seen at Les Deux Sunday, wearing his SCRAM alcohol monitoring device -- outside his jeans! It's not clear if he was trying to make a bad fashion statement, or if he just couldn't fit his pant leg over the bulky thing. What's this man doing in skinny jeans anyway?!
The "30 Rock" actor was also sporting a T-shirt that said, "King of What I Do." With all of his bizarre behavior in the last few months, he may be a King in his world, but in everyone else's -- he just the court jester!

CNN is reporting that Simpson was arrested at the Palms Hotel in his room. Also reported -- cops have found the weapons. Alfred Beardsley, a sports memorabilia dealer, says Simpson and his posse came into his hotel room -- Thursday night with guns drawn -- and took various personal items of Simpson's that Beardsley had acquired.
Beardsley told TMZ two men pulled guns on him during the alleged robbery. According to reports cops have seized two guns.

No, they haven't found the real killer. The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that an arrest has been made in the O.J. Simpson robbery case.
The man detained Saturday night was arrested on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon, Las Vegas police lieutenant Clint Nichols said.
The man arrested is believed to be an associate of Simpson, and charges against him include conspiracy to commit robbery. O.J. is scheduled to be interviewed tomorrow by Las Vegas Metro Police.
UPDATE: Walter Alexander was arrested in connection with the robbery, according to the AP. Walter was arrested Saturday night on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon. CNN spoke with Simpson, who said that he "has no idea why they arrested him (Alexander)."

Although good gals like Rachel Bilson and Jessica Simpson are also part of the line's growing Young Hollywood fan base, in times of need, all the It girls are turning toward Nation!
Mindy McCready Sent to the Slammer!

A judge just sentenced Mindy McCready to one year in County Jail for violating her probation. She does it all the time!
McCready was arrested in Florida in July after cops responded to a domestic dispute between the country singer and her mother. Mindy was convicted in 2004 on a prescription drug fraud charge, and was ordered to serve three years probation. She only had a few more months left on that probation when she was arrested.
McCready has now been convicted on a felony charge. In addition to the jail time, the judge gave her two more years of probation and 200 additional hours of community service. In the courtroom, the judge was clear: if Mindy doesn't perform her community service, he'll put her back in jail again.

This past week's nude photo scandal isn't the first for "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens, say some sources.
A source close to Hudgens told People that two years ago, before she was famous, Hudgens emailed suggestive pix of herself to Nickelodeon star Drake Bell -- star of the "Drake and Josh" show. No word on if she rang his bell.
A rep for Drake says he never received the alleged sexy shots.
Fifty Cent: Touch Me, I Crumble
Rapper Fifty Cent must be on edge about his upcoming September 11 record release battle with Kanye West. Mr. Half Dollah's been extra snappish lately: at the recent Fashion Rocks show in NYC, the super-pumped Fiddy was super nasty to a member of Tyra Banks' entourage.
Banks' handler accidentally nudged the rapper as he was walking into the event, reports Gatecrasher, and Fiddy lashed out.
"What the [bleep] is wrong with you? How you gonna bump me?" he cried. Big men -- so delicate inside!
Eve's SCRAM-Free At Last
This past April, rapper Eve struck a plea agreement following a DUI arrest, and was ordered to wear an alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet -- just like the SCRAM anklet Lindsay Lohan voluntarily wore.
After five months, the delicious diva is happily reporting that the monitoring contraption will come off -- just in time for tonight's VMA's. Party!
The bracelet goes bye-bye this morning at 11:00 AM, Eve told Us, and then "It's gone forever! I'm so excited!" When asked if she was going to have a drink tonight, Eve replied, "You know I am! ... I gotta start slow. It's been so many days."
Doherty Dragged Back to Rehab

Rambling rocker Pete Doherty shambled back to rehab on Thursday after a drama-filled week that involved a run-in with a photographer and another drug-related arrest.
Babyshambles frontwreck Doherty checked in to Cloud's House rehab center in Salisbury, England, after allegedly chasing and assaulting photographer Cath Mead. Cath claims her hair was pulled and camera smashed in the attack.
Cloud's House has served such illustrious clients as Robbie Williams and Boy George.
Earlier this week, a Kate Moss-less Doherty was arrested (yet again) on suspicion of drug possession. He was released on the condition that he live with a friend in Somerset.

Nicole 'Surprised' by Her 82 Minutes of Jail

Sources tell TMZ that Nicole Richie was "surprised" by the short amount of time she had to serve at Lynwood -- and she apparently had a pretty good stint in the clink, all things considered.
We're told that the tiny ex-con found the Sheriff's Department "extremely professional" and "cooperative" and she "appreciated their efficiency." Eighty-two minutes -- that's efficient!
Nicole's lawyer, Shawn Chapman-Holley, tells TMZ that Nicole was "prepared to do the full four-day sentence" -- but after being held in a cell in the booking area of the jail, she got her walking papers and strutted right back home.

Joel Madden's Glendale home was swarmed by photogs after Nicole Richie's in-and-out jail stint last night -- with so many paps -- that neighbors called the cops.
TMZ cameras caught Richie's baby daddy leaving the house in his car around 7:30 PM, no Nicole in sight as the fedora-rockin' rocker drove past the cameras. A little later, as everyone was waiting for a sign of the mini ex-con, a few police cruisers pulled onto the block and warned paparazzi to keep off Joel's property.
The popo showed up a couple more times, at one point talking to Joel's bro Benji about all the cameras, but left again after issuing only a warning, since nobody was doing anything illegal.
Nicole, disappointing the crowd, never emerged.

Before in-n-out-mate Nicole Richie began her 82-minute jail stint, she made sure that all her b*tches were in check.
Cameras caught the wrong-way driver dropping off her two pooches, Foxxy Cleopatra and Honey Child, at California Animal Hospital under the protective watch of baby daddy Joel Madden. Less than an hour-and-a-half after she kissed her babies goodbye, Nicole was free to pick 'em back up again.

TMZ has received a statement from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department regarding the 82-minute incarceration of Nicole Richie:
On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system. Miss Richie was cooperative during the process. Based on her sentence and federal court guidelines, Miss Richie was released at 4:37 PM today.

Just 82 minutes after Nicole Richie checked herself into Lynwood jail, she left a free woman. Hard time her ass!
According to the official website of the L.A. Sheriff's Dept., Richie checked in at 3:15 PM and was released at 4:37 PM. She was assigned to a cell for only 35 minutes! It takes longer to watch an episode of "The Simple Life" ... and it's more painful!
A Sheriff's source tells TMZ Nicole was routinely processed and released according to normal operating rules.
One of the more brilliant moves by Nicole's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, who snuck Nicole in and out while everyone was focused on Lindsay. Well played!
