Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were together at the Directors Guild Awards last night ... but they weren't photographed that way.
Instead the only person to be seen with them both was "Inglourious Basterds" director Quentin Tarantino.

UPDATE: A little searching on YouTube and you find a highlight montage from the show. For one split second, you see Brad and Angelina sitting next to each other, appearing to be laughing. It's like we got pictures of Big Foot.

"General" Larry Platt's gripe with saggy bottoms has gotten the "American Idol" star all the way to the Grammys -- dude's gonna be performing on the red carpet.
TMZ spoke with Platt's manager -- a charming woman named Pinky -- who told us the "Pants on the Ground" king will bust out his intoxicating anthem right before the awards show.
Unfortunately, the "General" is gonna have to find somewhere else to see the awards -- Pinky tells us there are no plans to actually go inside.
Probably for the best, considering Lil Wayne and T-Pain are expected to be at the Grammys ... gold teeth and all.

James Cameron ran into his worst enemy outside a Golden Globes after-party last night -- but instead of calling the guy a "f**king a**hole" again -- the award-winning director decided to make peace.
It all went down at the Beverly Hills Hotel where Cameron recognized the professional autograph seeker on his way out -- and decided to approach him.
Unlike their last run-in at LAX -- when Cameron denied his request for an autograph and called the guy an a**hole -- James extended his hand and engaged the "fan" in some friendly banter.
The two ultimately posed for a photo and parted on good terms ...
or maybe just good press.

We've learned after the Emmys on Sunday night, Tracy and his date directed their limousine driver to the home of the cheapest square burger in Los Angeles -- Wendy's.
Tracy hopped out of the limo to personally pick his poison from the drive-thru menu -- including two orders of delicious french fries.
