If he can't avenge his (BS) loss to Jeff Horn, Manny Pacquiao needs to retire IMMEDIATELY ... and that's not us saying it, it's his hall of fame trainer Freddy Roach who says Pacman "got old overnight."

We got Freddie leaving Craig's and asked him the big question everyone wants to know after Manny's shocking loss to Horn earlier this month ... a fight most viewers felt was a bogus decision.

What now?

According to Roach ... Pacman only has two options -- avenge the loss, or hang up the gloves.

"Fight a rematch with Horn, otherwise retire. Fighters get old overnight, he did okay in the fight, but just okay, and just okay isn't good enough."

An LGBT group is firing back at Floyd Mayweather for using a homophobic slur at Friday's press conference in London ... saying his reason behind using the word is complete B.S.

Floyd ripped into Conor McGregor at the final stop on the superfight's world tour ... calling him a string of names, including a gay slur.

Hudson Taylor, executive director of Athlete Ally -- an org. that promotes LGBT acceptance in sports -- took notice and denounced Floyd's actions, telling TMZ Sports: "Athlete Ally strongly condemns the homophobic slur used by Floyd Mayweather."

"The response given by Mayweather's representative is equally troubling. If Mayweather truly has the utmost respect for the LGBT community, he wouldn't resort to using slurs that perpetuate anti-LGBT stigma and hate."

Taylor goes on to address McGregor's alleged involvement, saying, "Resorting to homophobic and racial epithets is shameful no matter how or why one uses them."

Mayweather's rep says, "The reason Floyd called Conor the F word is because Conor called Floyd a monkey. Floyd has nothing against gays or lesbians at all ... Floyd has them on his staff. Floyd has nothing but the utmost respect for gays and lesbians."

We're told the monkey comment allegedly happened off mic when Conor was storming around the stage and hyping up the crowd.

Floyd Mayweather crossed the line -- much like Conor McGregor did -- by calling him a "fa***t" during their London news conference.

The fighters were in the middle of wrapping up their world tour to promote their upcoming boxing match, and when Floyd grabbed the mic he started ripping into Conor ... calling him a string of names, including the homophobic slur.

Conor didn't react, but the crowd certainly did ... and it wasn't good.

Remember, a few days ago ... Conor told Floyd ... "Dance for me, boy!" He was, rightfully, taken to task for spewing a racist term to an African-American man.

Looks like it's Floyd's turn to feel the heat.

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather finally met in the boxing ring Friday ... but instead of throwing punches, the 2 fighters traded ferocious insults.

SSE Arena in London was packed for the 4th and final stop on the super fight world tour ... and Conor fans ruthlessly booed Mayweather as he tried to get his verbal jabs out.

Conor rubbed Floyd's "peanut head" and made fun of his "brittle hands" ... while Floyd dropped a homophobic slur and referred to Dana White as Conor's pimp.

Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson says Conor McGregor needs to think about a career change if he beats Floyd Mayweather ... telling TMZ Sports the boxing money is too good to stay in the Octagon.

We got Johnson out in L.A. and asked him who he was rolling with in the super fight ... and if he ever thinks we'll see Conor back in the UFC.

DJ said he's got Conor by knockout, and once that happens McGregor should focus on fighting the winner of the GGG/Canelo fight, and not ever grace the Octagon again.

Johnson's logic? $100 million payday Conor's getting in the ring ain't happening in the UFC, so why go back?

Anyone who doesn't think Conor McGregor can beat Floyd Mayweather is full of BS ... and that's coming from FLOYD'S CAMP ... specifically, the CEO of his promotion company, Leonard Ellerbe.

Ellerbe is the CEO of Mayweather Promotions -- the guy who makes all the business moves -- and when we got him at the Brooklyn presser he said something no one seems to believe ... Conor can win.

"I've been saying this all along, all this disrespecting these fighters and saying this guy doesn't have a chance. That's some bulls**t."

He didn't leave it there either, telling us he's not the only guy in the Mayweather camp that isn't on board with the "Conor has no shot" line of thinking.

"I'm not buying it, and Floyd Mayweather's not buying it either. He (Conor) has tremendous punching power and when he touches guys they go down."

Floyd Mayweather says he's got some huge surprises in store for the McGregor fight -- including a possible appearance by President Barack Obama.

McGregor went crazy at the fight event in Brooklyn Thursday night … saying he loves black people, especially black women and busted several crotch thrusts to prove it.

Before that, he blasted Floyd Mayweather's pal 50 Cent saying they are both broke bitches who pretend to have money.

In fact, he gave Floyd a copy of Jay-Z’s new 4:44 album … and told him to study it to learn how to build a real empire.

He then claimed his coat was made of real polar bears — ‘cause he’s so damn cold.

Madness in Times Square ... where hundreds of people swarmed Floyd Mayweather as he was walking out of a bank -- and the video is pretty nuts.

Floyd was flanked by his massive TMT bodyguards as he left Chase Bank -- where he either deposited his $100 million check ... or withdrew some cash for the big media event in Brooklyn Thursday night.

(Remember, Conor mocked him for only having $5,000 in his backpack on Wednesday).

Either way, the scene was chaotic -- everyone tried to get a shot on their phones -- but Floyd ultimately made it to his ride without incident.

Not everyone got out clean though ... cops were on the street firing off tickets for illegally parked cars that appeared to be a part of the TMT entourage.

Good thing Floyd's rich.

Floyd Mayweather wants Conor McGregor to know ... I'M LITERATE, BITCH!

After Conor mocked Floyd at news conference #2 on Wednesday, the Mayweather camp released a video to our friends at BSO showing Floyd clearly reading fight promos off a teleprompter.

At one point during the promo sesh, Floyd jokes about all the illiteracy insults -- and then continues to read more promos.

Boxing superstar Andre Ward has a message for Conor McGregor -- STOP CALLING FLOYD A "BOY."

"I don't like that 'Boy' word," Ward told us in L.A. ... "I don't like that."

Of course, Floyd Mayweather and his father have said they weren't offended when Conor said, "Dance for me, boy" in both media events this week.

But it ain't flyin' with Ward -- who tells TMZ Sports there would be a different response if anyone hurled that word at him.

How does Floyd Mayweather feel about Conor McGregor calling him a "boy" twice? No offense taken.

In fact, Floyd actually tries to turn it into a joke -- "We all know there's only 2 types of boys -- a white boy and a cowboy -- and I'm neither."

TBE landed in NYC on Wednesday night, so we had to ask him about the outrage over Conor's racial comments at the 2 media events.

"Racism still exists but you know, I try to take something negative and turn it into something positive," Mayweather told us.

"A lot of people say that Conor McGregor is racist but I don't worry about that."

When asked specifically if he's upset with Conor over the comments, Floyd said he's not -- explaining, "It is what it is. He's entitled to feel how he wants to feel."

"I just want to stay in my zone and stay focused."

Who throws a flag? Conor McGregor ... that's who.

The UFC star actually weaponized the Irish colors at the Mayweather vs. McGregor Day 2 event in Toronto on Wednesday ... after a bizarre standoff involving Floyd's backpack.

At first, it seemed Floyd was gonna disrespect McGregor's flag -- but then he handed it over to Conor peacefully.

That's when Conor launched it back at the boxer ... and it landed right on the ground. Bad form.

The disses continued to fly -- Conor went after everything from his outfit, to his money, to his women to his alleged inability to read.

Mayweather called him a bitch a lot.

McGregor got the crowd to chant, "F*ck the Mayweathers."

But the best part? DRAKE SHOWED UP!

For the second day in a row, Conor McGregor has told Floyd Mayweather to "Dance for me, boy."

Conor was met with outrage when he first hurled the taunt at Floyd in L.A. on Tuesday -- since referring to a black man as "boy" in America is an insult that dates back to slavery. Same with telling a black man to "dance for me."

But despite scorn from black leaders across the country, Conor took the mic at the media event in Toronto on Wednesday and said it AGAIN.

Floyd just sat back and smiled.

Conor continued to rail against Floyd -- saying he's illiterate and stupidly blows his money on boatloads of strippers.

That's when he dragged Rob Kardashian into the mix ... saying Rob only bankrolled ONE, referring to Blac Chyna.

It's only day 2 ...

Floyd Mayweather Sr. says he doesn't see anything racist about Conor McGregor telling his son to "dance for me, boy" during the news conference ... despite outrage on social media.

"Racist? I don't know what that got to do with race," Floyd Sr. told TMZ Sports moments after the news conference at Staples Center.

"This is a boxing match. I don't know what that got to do with no racists."

Of course, referring to a black man as "boy" in America has an extremely negative history that goes all the way back to slavery. Don't do it.

Conor did ... but Floyd Sr. is clearly giving him a pass.

Dana White says he got a call from Donald Trump's camp about the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight -- but says POTUS likely won't attend because he feels like he "ruins events."

Of course, Dana and Donald are longtime friends (Dana spoke at the RNC) -- and White has previously told us Trump has an open invitation to attend any UFC event.

So, we asked if Trump would be at T-Mobile Arena on August 26 and White replied -- "Funny you say that. They called me yesterday."

White says Donald is 100% interested in the fight but feels he'd be too big of a distraction to attend in person.

"He feels like he'll ruin events," White said ... "Secret Service is going to have to go through the place, shut down streets and create crazy traffic."
