Elton Brand is now a free agent ... professionally and personally -- the NBA superstar's wife has filed for separation.

Brand's now estranged wife Shahara Simmons filed the docs a couple weeks ago ... shortly after their 9th anniversary. They met during college at Duke University and have 2 children.

In Sahara's docs she says they hashed out separation of assets back in April, and all that's left to hammer out is child custody and child support.

"Sugar" Shane Mosley says he suffered a love TKO because his ex was already married when she said "I do" to him, and then made out like a bandit when she divorced him -- but that's not her memory of what went down.

The ex boxing champ marched into an L.A. courthouse on Wednesday to start taking legal action against Jin Mosley -- who he was married to from 2002 to 2011. Shane claims he recently got proof Jin was also married to another guy from 1995 until 2006 ... which would make her a bigamist.

It would also mean Shane and Jin were never legally married, and therefore never divorced -- which makes a huge financial difference, 'cause according to docs ... Jin cleaned up in the break up:

- 3 houses
- several investment and bank accounts
- 2009 Mercedes G Wagon and 2008 Cadillac Escalade
- income from Mosley's fight library
- $600k lump sum for spousal support

So, clearly there's a lot on the line. However, Jin tells TMZ Sports ... she has no idea what Shane is talking about, and denies being married to anyone else.

It's unclear what kind of "proof" Shane has, but outside court he told us he plans to sue for bigamy and fraud so he can get back everything he shelled out.

Donald Sterling pulled the trigger -- doing what Shelly Sterling wouldn't -- filing to divorce his longtime spouse.

The former Clippers owner filed the docs in Los Angeles Superior Court ... about 2 weeks before the couple would have celebrated their 60th anniversary -- although it's debatable if there would have been any celebration at all.

As we've reported ... Shelly had actually prepared divorce docs last year -- she even signed the papers, but changed her mind at the last minute. That, of course, came on the heels of TMZ Sports breaking the story about Donald's racist recorded conversation with his alleged mistress V. Stiviano.

Billionaire PayPal and Tesla founder Elon Musk isn't quite ready to legally cut ties from his wife -- he's ditching plans to divorce actress Talulah Riley ... whom he already divorced once before.

Musk filed for divorce on January 1, 2015, but now he's followed up by filing a request to dismiss the divorce ... and the new docs indicate Talulah's on board with the reversal.

Musk and Riley initially married in 2010, but divorced two years later. They remarried in July 2013, only to hit the skids again.

All this indecision has hit Musk where it really hurts -- he's paid her settlements of $4.2 million and $16 mil for each split. Then again, he's reportedly worth $14 billion ... so, it can't hurt THAT much.

Gwen Stefani pulled the plug on her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale because she believed he was cheating on her.

We're told Gwen and Gavin have not gotten along for some time. As one source put it, the split was "a long time coming."

We're told Gwen complained about Gavin being away from home too much, touring with his band Bush from December 2014 through March 2015. One source says Gwen put pressure on him to stop touring and stay home. For his part, he felt it she was hypocritical because she was on the road too.

Our sources say Gavin is a very good father, so both sides are seeking a joint custody arrangement.

As TMZ first reported ... Gwen filed for divorce Monday.

Gwen Stefani has filed for divorce from her husband Gavin Rossdale, TMZ has learned.

Gwen cites irreconcilable differences in her divorce petition, which seeks to end their 13-year-marriage.

Gwen, who's repped by attorney Scott Weston, is asking for joint custody of the couple's 3 kids -- 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma and 1-year-old Apollo.

Gavin, who's repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser, filed his response at the same time, and he's also asking for joint custody. It's clear the petition and response were orchestrated to be filed simultaneously.

Sources tell TMZ there is no prenup, so the 50/50 California community property laws kick in. 45-year-old Gwen is worth a reported $80 million, and 49-year-old Gavin's worth an estimated $35 million. Given the length of the marriage, that will probably all go into one pot before it's divided.

Gwen checked the box on the form to deny Gavin spousal support.

In a joint statement they said, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment."

Will Smith says the stories he's getting a divorce are BS.

Will just posted on Facebook, "I don't usually respond to foolishness," explaining that by doing so it becomes contagious.

But he decided to join in the foolishness, and said, "In the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over again-ness ... Jada and I are NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!:-)"

And he added this ... "I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself!"

He ended with "#Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's."

Jada then tweeted, "My king has spoken."

Reba McEntire's husband must hear her huge hit, "Consider Me Gone" playing over and over in his head -- after 26 years of marriage they're splitting up.

Reba and Narvel Blackstock -- who's also been her manager for 35 years -- announced they're getting separated, and have actually been apart for several months now. Sounds like it's pretty amicable though ... since they say they will continue working together.

Blackstock's management company also reps Blake Shelton, so ... you might say there's something in the air over there.

Ben Affleck is angry over allegations he's dating his children's nanny, so angry he's threatening a lawsuit.

A rep for Affleck calls the US Weekly story -- which claims Affleck and the nanny, Christine Ouzounian, began dating AFTER Ben and Jennifer Garner split but before they announced their divorce -- "complete garbage and full of lies."

The rep adds Affleck is "considering legal options."

Affleck and Garner announced their split last month after ten years of marriage.

11:00 AM PT -- Sources connected with the former couple say Blake had no beef. The stuff on the porch are things Miranda didn't want anymore and she said give it to charity or whoever Blake wanted.

Blake Shelton is ridding himself of all things Miranda ... because he's removed all her junk from his Oklahoma home.

Sources connected to Miranda confirm it is indeed her stuff that now sits on the front porch of Blake's Oklahoma ranch.

It looks like every other garage sale in America, but some of those boots are worth real money.

One source says Blake has been gone since he filed for divorce last week, and when a ranch hand told him Miranda hadn't removed her stuff, he ordered his staff to pack up her belongings and have it taken away in a U-Haul.

As we previously reported, Miranda's moving to Nashville and Blake will stay on the ranch.

Nothing helps you get over a D-vorce like a G-string ... just ask Lamar Odom ... who hit up a famous Vegas strip club this weekend ... just days after he and Khloe finally decided to end their marriage.

It's the summer's hottest country music ticket … Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are both headlining the 2015 WE Fest in August, and no one's bailing despite their nasty divorce.

Promoters for the Minnesota festival confirm neither Blake nor Miranda have bowed out.

Miranda is set to take the stage on Aug. 7, and Blake the next night. We're told there's little chance they'll cross paths. It's common for artists to fly in and out the day of their performance.

As we previously reported, it hasn't been an amicable split, but news of their divorce hasn't exactly hurt ticket sales ... they're almost sold out.

Bottom line ... the show will go on, but a duet is not in the cards.

Miranda Lambert claims cheating was not the only reason her marriage fell apart ... Blake Shelton was way more into "The Voice" than her, and she felt like an abandoned wife ... so say our Miranda sources.

Our sources say Blake's hit TV show was a constant source of conflict between them. She says he had to spend between 7 and 8 months a year in Los Angeles ... a place she "hates." Nevertheless, the sources say she would fly to L.A. to see him -- sometimes just for a day.

But Miranda claims he rarely reciprocated by coming to Oklahoma or wherever she was working.

The sources say Miranda felt abandoned and ultimately said, "This is no way to live."

As for the cheating ... both sides are not backing down and accusing the other of infidelity.

Brittney Griner was a woman scorned when she pulled the plug on her marriage -- because she learned Glory Johnson was texting an ex-boyfriend on the down-low ... during their engagement.

According to new annulment docs -- obtained by TMZ Sports -- Griner says she found out Johnson had been texting the guy in early April ... months into their engagement. Griner's point is she would never have married Johnson if she knew the old flame was still flickering.

Blake Shelton was not crying in his beer right before his divorce became final ... he was drinking it, after giving a shout-out to the glory of divorce.

Blake was in New Hampshire last Saturday for a NASCAR race – two nights before he officially unhitched himself from Miranda Lambert.

Blake was full-on celebrating at a karaoke bar after the race, drinking and even grabbing the mic for a rendition of Tracy Byrd's classic, "I'm From the Country." One of the lyrics ... "And when the beds get full we can sleep in the hay. We're from the country and we like it that way." Well, not always.

Before hitting up the karaoke bar, Blake was at a dive bar where everyone raised their shot glasses, but no one knew an appropriate toast ... and that's when Blake chimed in, "Divorce!"
