Charlie Kirk Secret Service Arrests, Charges Armed Man Ahead of Arizona Memorial Service
An armed man posing as a law enforcement officer at Charlie Kirk's memorial service site was taken into federal custody Friday and charged by the state of Arizona.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety tells TMZ ... 42-year-old Joshua Runkles was taken into custody and booked into the Maricopa County Jail after "exhibiting suspicious behavior" Friday afternoon at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona ... the location of Sunday's memorial service for Kirk.
The Arizona DPS and Secret Service tell TMZ the man informed Secret Service agents he was armed when they approached him, and he falsely claimed to be a member of law enforcement. Officials say he is not affiliated with law enforcement.

Three bullets pierced through a local ABC news station in California's capital ... and people were inside working when the shooter opened fire.
Cops in Sacramento say someone shot up the ABC10 news station downtown Friday afternoon ... with police responding to reports of shots being fired just after 1:30 PM ... and footage shows three bullet holes in one of the building's windows.
Journalists were working inside the building when the bullets came bursting through ... but incredibly, no one was injured.

During Monday's show, Jimmy said ... "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."
Nexstar Media Group — which owns a bunch of ABC affiliates — piled on, saying ... "Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets."
We're told Jimmy was in his TV studio when the bad news broke and he eventually left, ducking into the garage to make his getaway. Guillermo, Jimmy's sidekick, was also there and seen chatting with staffers after ABC's announcement.
President Trump, of course, was all too happy to dance on Jimmy's grave, congratulating ABC on Truth Social for a job well done. Trump also called Kimmel's show "ratings challenged" and Kimmel himself a no talent.

Nexstar is a media company that owns 32 ABC affiliate stations across the country ... ABC has more than 200 affiliate stations in total in the U.S.

Jimmy Kimmel is in the crosshairs of law enforcement with federal investigators mulling whether to investigate the late-night comedy host for his comments on the Charlie Kirk assassination.
Brendan Carr -- the Federal Communications Commission Chairman -- went on "The Benny Show" podcast Wednesday and said the agency was contemplating launching the probe into Kimmel over his statement that Kirk's alleged killer was a MAGA supporter.
As you know, Tyler Robinson fatally shot Kirk during the Turning Point USA founder's event at Utah Valley University last Wednesday, according to police. State prosecutors charged Robinson with aggravated murder and 6 other felonies and are now seeking the death penalty.
Carr told podcast host Benny Johnson that Kimmel's behavior "appears to be some of the sickest conduct possible." He said the FCC sees certain avenues that can be taken to punish Kimmel -- including a possible suspension for his remark.

Charlie's widow Erika is also set to speak at the Arizona event -- this will be her second time publicly addressing her husband's murder. She first gave a passionate speech about carrying on her husband's legacy last Friday, just 2 days after his horrific death.
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Cabinet Secretaries RFK Jr., Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard will also attend. Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, Stephen Miller and Sergio Gor will make their way to the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to honor Charlie as well. More names were expected to be announced.

Suspected Charlie Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson wore a strange outfit during his first court appearance Tuesday -- and we're told his smock was designed so he couldn't hang himself.
Robinson appeared virtually in a green suicide prevention smock from the Utah County Jail, where he's been locked up in the Special Housing Unit since his arrest last week, accused of fatally shooting Kirk, according to authorities.
During Tuesday's hearing, Robinson was seated in a room facing the camera, which showed him from his head to his torso dressed in the green smock, also referred to as anti-ligature clothing.

Prosecutors in Utah just released a conversation police say alleged Charlie Kirk killer Tyler Robinson had with his lover/roommate after the fatal shooting ... and it includes a confession.
According to documents, Robinson texted his roommate shortly after the murder on September 10th to look for a note under a keyboard. The note stated, "I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I'm going to take it."
After reading the note, the roommate texted Robinson, "You weren't the one who did it, right????" Robinson responded, "I am, I'm sorry."
