Erika Kirk got understandably emotional opening up about how much she feels the absence of her late husband, Charlie Kirk, around the house.

Speaking on "Fox & Friends" Tuesday while promoting Charlie’s new book, "Stop, in the Name of God," Erika said while the world knew him as "Charlie Kirk," to her he was the love of her life ... and to their kids, he was just Daddy walking through the door.

Erika fought tears as she explained she always tried to make coming home special for Charlie -- and she urged spouses watching not to sweat the small stuff or get mad at their partners, 'cause TBH ... you never know what could happen.

Robinson himself didn't appear in Provo court Monday ... calling in remotely from Utah County Jail instead of appearing in person. We did not hear from him Monday.

Robinson's lawyer Kathryn N. Nester appeared before the judge ... Utah County appointed Nester, Michael N. Burt and Richard G. Novak to represent Robinson after a judge found Robinson can't afford to pay for an attorney himself.

The right-wing media figure received a lot of attention for a 2024 episode of his "Thoughtcrime" discussion show, when he argued for executions to be televised publicly, according to Newsweek.

Kirk argued children should be allowed to watch executions, and described the potential experience of viewing one as an "initiation."

The conservative commentator added the events should be "taken in a holy way," though acknowledged watching an execution could be "heavy."

Tim Allen is forgiving the man who killed his father ... and he's crediting Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika, after her powerful eulogy at her late husband's memorial service.

ICYMI ... during her emotional remarks, Erika choked back tears as she forgave Tyler Robinson -- the man who allegedly killed Charlie Kirk. Her words drew roaring applause ... saying, "I forgive him because it is what Christ did," and, "The answer to hate is not hate."
