Darius McCrary was seen for the first time Wednesday since his arrest last week and he chose to represent himself during a court hearing, but the only problem was ... he didn't appear to know what the f*** was going on.

As TMZ previously reported, McCrary was arrested October 5 on a warrant out of Michigan stemming from a missed court appearance related to his failure to pay child support.

At his arraignment today in a San Diego courtroom, the "Family Matters" alum chose to forego a lawyer, opting to represent himself ... which was a huge mistake.

Grammy-winning R&B soul singer D'Angelo is dead from pancreatic cancer ... TMZ has learned.

The "Brown Sugar" singer-songwriter died Tuesday morning in NYC ... according to sources connected to his family and his former manager Kedar Massenburg. While D'Angelo had not been public about his cancer battle, we're told he'd been in treatment for several months.

D'Angelo was a singular talent who collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Q-Tip ... after bursting onto the scene in 1995 with his solo debut album, "Brown Sugar."

1:45 PM PT -- The Los Angeles Fire Department tells TMZ ... they responded to Diane's home at 8:08 AM Saturday morning and an ambulance transported an individual to a local hospital.

Our sources tell us Diane was the one taken away in the ambulance.

Diane Keaton -- famed actress, director and producer -- has died.

The owner of CoolKicks LA -- the celeb-loved sneaker shop -- was arrested on a felony charge after he was caught up in an LAPD raid that was allegedly captured on a livestream.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports ... Adeel Shams, 33, was arrested around 4:45 PM on Thursday in Santa Monica and was booked on a felony charge of "Receiving Known Stolen Property over $950.00."

Shams is scheduled to appear at Los Angeles Superior Court on October 23. No further information was provided at this time.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent is in hot water after he was captured on video this week violently manhandling a woman inside a NYC courthouse.

The ICE agent, dressed in street clothes with a badge around his neck, is caught on camera speaking to a distraught woman in the hallway of the courthouse on Thursday. The woman appears to be asking for her husband to be released from ICE custody, but the agent repeatedly says "adios."

At some point, the agent becomes so frustrated he grabs her and shoves her against a wall, before pushing her to the ground. The woman appears to hit her head on the floor. It's unclear if she suffered any injuries.
