Cornell University routinely ignored punishment guidelines for fraternities over a period of years, and it became so frustrating for the Cornell University Police Dept. (CUPD), members sounded the alarm to University officials.

Sources connected to the Cornell administration have given TMZ an email sent by one of the CUPD officers, outlining frustration over the University ignoring its own guidelines for fraternities and their members, especially when it came to underage drinking.

The email, written November 9, 2022, reads in part, "According to policy and as directed by [then] University President [Martha] Pollack, referrals alleging violations of underage consumption of alcohol and unregistered events among others will result in immediate placement on interim suspension. If the organization is found responsible, the final sanction according to policy is a three year suspension at minimum."

Dr. Reza Nabavi -- the head of Resolutions Living sober facility where Presley Gerber died -- was mum when we asked him about our report that his employees knew Presley was high when he was admitted to the facility.

Presley Gerber showed up high when he was admitted to the Resolutions Living sober house -- and he died just hours later -- but the doctor who owns Resolutions was in no mood to talk about it when we asked.

We got Dr. Reza Nabavi in Malibu late Wednesday afternoon, and asked him about a story TMZ broke -- that Presley's sober coach called Resolutions and asked if Presley could stay in the facility's sober house, making it clear the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber was high. We're told the admissions director said to bring him there. Multiple people in the rehab industry say there is a hard rule not to admit anyone into a sober house who is high.

The sober coach deposited Presley at the sober house and then left. We obtained video of Presley inside and he was clearly high. We're told he was doing drugs and apparently od'd hours later.

Diddy is headed back to the hole ... FCI Fort Dix is sending him back into the Special Housing Unit, better known as solitary confinement ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources tell TMZ ... Diddy is returning to SHU in response to this week's NBC News report about his alleged VIP prison stay -- a lavish lifestyle that allegedly featured massages, fancy meals, contraband booze, and inmates doing his chores.

We're told this is typical procedure for an inmate as prison officials conduct an investigation.

"Wife Swap" star James Cuda passed away from "sudden cardiac death" inside a Pennsylvania sober house in August, according to a coroner. 

Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes tells TMZ ... Cuda -- best known as Princess on "Wife Swap" -- also tested negative for drugs and alcohol, and he died of natural causes. 

As we first reported ... Cuda's body was found inside a sober home in Wilkes-Barre, PA, on August 30. 

Jim Carrey is a married man again... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar tell TMZ... Jim Carrey recently married his girlfriend Min Ah in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles.

Jim and Min Ah publicly debuted as a couple at the César Awards in Paris in February, where he accepted an honorary award. During his speech, Jim thanked Min Ah as his "sublime companion" and told her, "I love you, Min Ah."

A new movie being produced by Ben Shapiro's The Daily Wire appears to be recreating the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good ... and TMZ has obtained video from the set as protesters sound off nearby.

The footage, shot during filming in Livingston, Montana, shows the production working through the tense sequence.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Renee's name is never mentioned in the script ... but the scene closely mirrors her January death in Minneapolis, when she was shot 4 times in her SUV by federal immigration agents.

Phil Mickelson voluntarily checked himself into an addiction treatment center amid ongoing personal issues ... TMZ Sports has learned.

A rep for Phil tells TMZ Sports ... "Phil was seeking treatment for family trauma and addiction."

We're told the pro golfer sought the treatment recently, and he's already out of the facility.

Phil's reps previously said in June, "Mr. Mickelson's priority is to become the husband, father, and man his family deserves. Right now, that means giving his full attention to a private family health matter. He understands that parts of his life are public, but his family's private matters are not."

Phil has also been open about his longtime struggle with gambling addiction ... saying in 2023 that he had crossed the line from moderation into addiction and had sought professional help for years. He said the habit had taken a toll on his personal life.

Timothy Busfield is trying to line up some unlikely support in his child sex abuse case ... parents of other child actors who worked on the show "The Cleaning Lady" ... TMZ has learned.

According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, Busfield wants several parents with ties to the show available to testify as he fights to get his indictment tossed ... butting heads with prosecutors, who are trying to exclude witnesses from an upcoming hearing on his motion to dismiss.

And the parents aren't alone on his witness list ... Busfield's team also named several crew members from the series ... including a director of photography, a hair and makeup worker, a line producer, a COVID nurse, and a stand-in actor ... who the defense says are ready to testify in the case.

Tyreek Hill wants a judge to throw a yellow flag on his mother-in-law's play ... because he claims she recorded him without his consent -- and her daughter shouldn't be allowed to play the recordings in court.

The NFL star filed legal documents, obtained by TMZ, earlier this month asking the court to prevent his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro, from playing the recordings for the jury as their divorce goes to trial.

He says he was recorded during two separate phone calls ... and he says both took place while he was in Florida and his mother-in-law, Alesia Vaccaro, was in Texas.

Bill Cosby allegedly failed to show up for a deposition in a civil lawsuit he's facing ... and his legal adversaries are telling the judge it's the third one he's missed ... and they want him to face some serious consequences.

According to legal documents filed by the lawyers for several women who are suing the disgraced actor and comedian, Bill was scheduled to be deposed from September 22 to September 24 ... but they say Cosby unilaterally canceled on September 21 ... despite receiving proper notice of the dates he was to be deposed.

They claim this is the third time they've had dates set for a deposition that Cosby's team has called off at the last minute ... citing an instance in April and another in June. 

And now the plaintiffs are asking the court to hit him with serious sanctions or, at the very least, an order blocking him from testifying so he "cannot benefit from his delay tactics."

'DWTS' pro Gleb Savchenko's ex-wife, Elena Samodanova, claims she only earned $3,846 last month before taxes ... and she says it's way less than she needs for her monthly expenses ... TMZ has learned.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Elena says that in the last 12 months, she's averaged $4,380 monthly income as an assistant studio manager at Phoenix Connect.

On top of her salary, Elena -- who is based in Hong Kong -- also reported an average monthly income of $1,873 from a rental property.

Meanwhile ... Elena lists her fiancé Vlad Kvartin's income as $3,500 a month ... and says that Gleb pays $2,273 in child support for their two children.
