Look up in the sky ... It's a bird, it's a plane ... No, it's a 4.56-billion-year-old meteorite that's older than planet Earth!

Yup, you read it right ... The fiery comet — nicknamed the "McDonough Meteorite" -- was captured on film streaking through the skies above Georgia and South Carolina on June 26 ... but the video was recently released.

The University of Georgia also issued a press release Friday with their findings, primarily from UGA planetary geologist Scott Harris, who says the meteor slammed into the roof of a house just outside Atlanta. Luckily, nobody was injured!

A little girl was allegedly nearly snatched from a mall in Virginia ... and, the incident was captured on surveillance video released by authorities.

The Fairfax County Police Department shared footage from the Fair Oaks Shopping Center on July 18, which shows a man walking up to a toddler, picking her up and calmly walking away.

It happens really quickly ... and, it doesn't seem like the kid's screaming out or anything. The man walks out of frame, and the video ends.

Horrifying video shows the moment an amusement park ride snaps in two, sending riders crashing to the ground ... leaving dozens licking their wounds.

Footage out of Saudi Arabia captures the whole incident involving a carnival ride called 360 Degrees ... riders are strapped in chairs on the revolving ride, and they swing up and down -- until chaos hits.

The ride's central pole breaks in half like a twig -- gravity takes over and the revolving platform comes hurtling down ... and the impact sends debris and broken ride parts flying through the air.

EasyJet Flight 609 took off from Luton Airport near England's capital at around 7 AM local time Sunday morning, headed for Glasgow, when a man is said to have left the bathroom on the plane and began making a scene.

Video captured by one person on the flight shows the man screaming out, "Death to America. Death to Trump" ... President Donald Trump is in Turnberry -- a small village about an hour from Glasgow -- playing golf at a resort he owns.

TMZ obtained the arrest report and the Tallahassee Police Department says the man in the Chuck E. Cheese costume also had a small amount of marijuana on him. Cops say they asked if he had a medical marijuana license and were told, "I was on the way to getting one."

Police also say he racked up $105.57 in fraudulent charges on a debit card a woman lost after attending her child's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.

A Chuck E. Cheese mascot had to cough up some serious dough to bail out of the pokey, after getting arrested at a Charles Entertainment Cheese joint in Florida.

When the costume head was removed by cops, the identity of the rodent was revealed ... Jermell J. Jones, who was arrested for theft of a credit card.

It's unclear ... but it appears Tallahassee cops knew the identity of the man inside the mouse and knew where he worked, because they promptly arrived on scene, and removed the faux mouse from the joint -- right in the middle of a children's birthday party in progress.

A Southern California man has been hit with 74 felony charges after allegedly plowing his car into a crowd outside an East Hollywood nightclub over the weekend, injuring 37 people -- some critically.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office says Fernando Ramirez faces 37 counts each of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Prosecutors allege he intentionally drove onto the sidewalk outside The Vermont Hollywood around 2 AM on Saturday, striking dozens of pedestrians.

Eight victims suffered great bodily injury, and Ramirez was allegedly out on bail in a separate domestic violence case out of Orange County. He's being held without bail.

A driver who mouthed off to law enforcement during a traffic stop in Florida got punched in the mouth after police smashed his window and pulled him out of his car ... and it's all on video.

Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters just released body camera footage from William McNeil's violent February arrest ... and you see him arguing with deputies about why he got pulled over.

McNeil questions deputies who told him he was being pulled over for not using his headlights in the rain ... and he locks himself in the car and demands a supervisor ... then continues his defense when more deputies show up ... until police smash his window with bare fists and drag him out of the driver's seat.

A ferry carrying 280 people caught fire off the coast of Indonesia over the weekend, leaving at least one person dead and prompting a dramatic rescue operation.

The ferry was traveling from the Talaud Islands to Manado when it erupted in flames around 12 PM local time Sunday. Shocking videos show passengers jumping into the sea as fire engulfed the upper deck, with thick smoke billowing into the sky.

Rescue ships and local fishing boats rushed to save those in the water. One survivor said she floated for nearly an hour before being rescued. Authorities say survivors were transported to a nearby island, and search efforts for any remaining passengers are ongoing.
