Marcellus Wiley's estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, called police on the ex-NFL star ... hours after criminal charges against him were dropped ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Annemarie contacted cops Tuesday to report a potential domestic violence restraining order violation.

We're told officers responded to the former couple's marital home in Los Angeles, which Marcellus is barred from entering under the TRO, but determined no crime was committed ... so no arrests were made.

Ray J suffered a setback in his legal battle with his ex, Kim Kardashian, and her mom, Kris Jenner ... the judge just shut down his attempt to get their defamation case against him tossed out of court ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge denied Ray J's attempt to dismiss the defamation and false light claims brought by Kim and Kris.

You'll recall ... Kim and Kris sued Ray J, claiming he harmed their reputations by making false statements about them … specifically, that they were under some sort of federal racketeering probe and that it would be worse than Diddy.

Perez Hilton's mom has filed for temporary custody of his three minor kids, TMZ can confirm.

Teresita Lavandeira is asking to seal the records. In her filing, she says ... "The children in this case should not be subjected to any further trauma related to the incidents that are the basis of the petition."

And, Perez is on board with it -- TMZ has obtained the consent form he signed to hand over Teresita temporary custodial rights over his kiddos. This includes consent to allow her to make all necessary and reasonable medical and dental care decisions for the children, obtain copies of their records such as birth certificates, enroll them in school, and more.

Alisa Hackett filed a federal lawsuit Monday against Trooper Moisses Arellano, claiming he struck her face during an August 1 traffic stop because she talked back to him.

Hackett says the use of force was NOT justified ... she claims she was unarmed, posed no threat to the trooper or anyone else, had no means of escape and was suspected of no more than a minor traffic offense.

Liz Cho has filed for a protective order amid her contentious divorce from Josh Elliott ... but the request has nothing to do with her personal safety.

The ABC7 New York news anchor asked the court to block Elliott's attorneys from deposing her on July 23, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

Cho filed the request July 17, arguing the deposition had been scheduled without first checking whether she or her attorneys were available.

The doctor who treated Lindsay Clancy as a psychiatric patient is firing back at allegations of medical malpractice, denying she did anything wrong while caring for Clancy.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Dr. Jennifer Tufts -- the psychiatrist who treated Clancy, the mother who is charged in the 2023 deaths of her three children -- denies she engaged in "any wrongdoing whatsoever" while having Clancy as a patient.

In January of this year, Clancy sued Tufts for negligence/medical malpractice, loss of parental companionship, loss of spousal companionship and vicarious liability.

In the lawsuit, Clancy claims she "suffered severe personal injuries," including the loss of her three children, severe postpartum psychosis, hallucinations and other trauma.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s sister is asking a judge to toss the lawsuit he filed against her ... insisting her claims that he sexually abused her during their childhood are true ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Ann Altman denies Sam’s claim she defamed him by accusing him of abuse.

In the docs, Ann also takes issue with Sam labeling her “mentally ill” in their court battle, saying her brother “slanderously characterized her” in his counterclaim and on social media in an effort to “silence her.”

2:30 PM PT -- Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Tiffany Haddish pleaded guilty to DUI as part of a plea deal and was sentenced to 12 months probation.

We're told she must periodically check in by phone, though probation officials will review that requirement after six months. She also has to complete a DUI course and 40 hours of community service, stay away from drugs and alcohol -- except medication prescribed to her -- and submit to testing.

Her driving privileges have also been suspended in Georgia.

Tiffany Haddish has pled guilty to her nearly 5-year-old DUI arrest in Georgia ... though she won't have to serve any jail time in the case.

The actress appeared in court virtually on Tuesday where she entered her guilty plea to DUI driving less safe, avoiding a trial in the case.

According to Fox 5 -- the local Atlanta affiliate -- Tiffany isn't headed back to jail ... but she will be on probation for one year.

Reality star Sidney Starr is tired of sitting behind bars ... so she's begging for the court to let her out on bond ASAP ... TMZ has learned.

Sidney filed docs claiming she's remained in custody in Georgia on sodomy and other charges since her August 2 arrest.

The 'Love & Hip Hop' star said there is no evidence she is a flight risk, nor does she have a criminal history. She says she's lived in Chicago her entire life and works in the "television industry."

Marcellus Wiley's estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, was allegedly kept in the dark about his Florida domestic violence case before prosecutors ultimately declined to pursue the charge ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Sources close to Annemarie tell us Florida authorities never alerted her about the decision not to pursue the charge in the case, leaving her in the dark.

As we previously reported, prosecutors said they declined to file charges because the testimonial evidence was not corroborated by physical or other evidence and was therefore insufficient to secure a conviction.

Soap star Steve Burton's ex-wife, Sheree Burton, is firing back at his claims that she is making it difficult for him to see their daughter ... denying she's alienating him from their kid.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Sheree told the judge in their custody battle that she wants to move from California to Tennessee, which is the opposite of Steve's alleged travel plans.

Sheree, who was married to Steve for 23 years, said she has always been their 12-year-old daughter Brooklyn's primary caregiver. She said Steve "traveled extensively and spent the majority of his time in New York or Tennessee when he wasn't on set in Los Angeles."
