American actress Courtney Woods was just a pre-teen when she was cast as Nicole AKA "Tie-Dye Girl" -- the strong and mighty camper at Camp Walden who can pull a yellow duffel out of a big pile with no problem -- in the 1998 family/comedy film "The Parent Trap."

Courtney shared the big screen with Lindsay Lohan as playing twins separated at birth, Annie and Hallie, Natasha Richardson as the beautiful wedding dress designer and mother from London, Elizabeth James and Dennis Quaid as the charming and wealthy vineyard owner and father, Nick Parker.

'Slumber Party Massacre' Star Michael Villella Dead at 84

Michael Villella, the star who famously played Russ Thorn in the 1982 horror film "The Slumber Party Massacre" has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

Michael's daughter, Chloe, tells TMZ ... he passed away on Saturday afternoon due to multiple organ failure after spending over a month in the hospital.

Chloe Villella posted a tribute on Facebook Saturday with the caption ... "May you rest in peace daddy ♥️💋."

While best known for his work as Russ Thorn, Michael also starred in "Love Letters," "Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue" and "Gotham."

Robert Vito No Felony Charge in Domestic Violence Case

Robert Vito -- best known for his role in a "Spy Kids" movie and other early 2000s shows -- won't face any felony charges in his domestic violence case ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office decided to hand off the case to the L.A. City Attorney’s Office for potential misdemeanor charges ... after finding it didn’t meet the threshold for a felony filing.

We broke the story first -- Robert was arrested earlier this month on a felony domestic violence charge after cops were called to an L.A.-area home over an alleged incident with his now ex-GF, Lindsey Jennings.

Actor-comedian Paul Rodriguez's best friend died in his L.A.-area home Thursday ... and cops are saying the death looks natural, with nothing nefarious suspected at this point.

We spoke with Paul ... who tells us his longtime friend Donald Serrato had just sold his house in Torrance and was moving to Montana -- but, before he moved, he needed a place to stay for a few days.

PR gave his friend a place to stay, and -- this morning -- he left around 6 AM to go work on a movie. He called Serrato around noon to see if he wanted to grab lunch, but received no response.
