Ever the gentleman, the British Ferrari driver stepped back to let KK in first ... offering his hand to help her into the backseat before jumping in himself.

Photos of Meg show the artist leaving the theater around 1:30 AM, looking relaxed after taking her final bow during the show’s late performance and heading out into the night as fans and paparazzi waited outside.

Megan had been linked to the Broadway production during its current run, but it was known her involvement was always expected to be limited due to her touring and recording commitments ... however, Meg was scheduled to go on for another 2 weeks of shows, before cutting her appearances short earlier this week.

Megan Thee Stallion was hospitalized Tuesday night after she had trouble breathing while performing on Broadway, but TMZ has learned she'll be OK.

A rep for the superstar singer and actress tells TMZ ... she was diagnosed with extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels ... all of which led to the scary moment when "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" was halted mid-show.

We're told Megan was treated and discharged ... and is resting at home.

She's skipping the Wednesday "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" performances ... a decison would-be ticket buyers were told when trying to snap up a seat. The plan is for her to be back on stage on Thursday.

We're told she's incredibly grateful for the prayers and well-wishes from her supporters.

The superstar made her Broadway debut in the show last week ... in the role of The Zidler at New York’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Her being a part of the production has been a major selling point in advertisements.

2:20 PM PT -- Christopher Jackson addressed the flub with TMZ Sports ... and he said it won't keep him from performing the anthem in the future.

“I’ve had the honor of singing the National Anthem countless times in Stadiums around the country. Today was a beautiful Opening Day and it was thrilling to be there!" he said.

Jackson explained singing in these types of venues is a unique and challenging experience ... but usually, it's not a problem for him.

"Today it was for about 5 seconds … and one line got away from me. I’m human. But I won’t hesitate to step up to a mic and pay tribute to those that we honor with the Anthem. Grateful to the Mets and MLB for allowing me to be a small part of the Day."

Bret Hanna-Shuford, the Broadway actor known for "Wicked" and "The Little Mermaid," has died.

His husband, Stephen Hanna-Shuford, shared the news on Instagram Saturday, revealing Bret had been battling Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis and T-Cell Lymphoma, which compromised his immune system.

Broadway Child Star Imani Dia Smith Allegedly Stabbed to Death at 26 Boyfriend Charged With Murder

Imani Dia Smith -- a former child actor who starred in "The Lion King" on Broadway -- has died.

According to a press release issued by Middlesex County, New Jersey, prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Edison Police Department chief Thomas Bryan, Smith was found Sunday in a residence in Edison, N.J. with stab wounds. She was reportedly pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

The press release says Smith's boyfriend, Jordan D. Jackson-Small, was arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing death.

Small, 35, was reportedly charged with first-degree murder, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

According to Playbill, Smith played Young Nala in "The Lion King" from September 27, 2011, to September 23, 2012.

According to a GoFundMe set up for the family, Smith is survived by a 3-year-old son.

She was 26.
