On the "Shut Up Evan" podcast, the "Wicked" star got a surprise voicemail from none other than the "Sex and The City" queen herself. But before Ariana could even answer SJP’s burning question, she was already tearing up like a total fangirl.

Ariana was so shook, she blurted out to Evan, "She knows who I am!" ... then pulled it together just enough to dive into how fame looks now versus what she dreamed it’d be as a kid.

Dave Ball -- one half of the 1980s New Wave pop group Soft Cell -- has died at age 66, according to the band's official website.

Ball was the synthesizer-keyboardist and Marc Almond was the singer of the group that recorded the iconic 1981 track "Tainted Love" … a massive hit, which was actually a cover.

Ball died in his sleep at home in London Wednesday. He'd recently played a show with Soft Cell, just weeks earlier … he was in a wheelchair at the time.

The group's website posted a statement and a series of tributes to Ball following his death.

The incident went down Monday when 54-year-old Jennifer Kleber allegedly sat down to grab some grub at Darrell’s Dog Gone Good Diner in Silver Springs. After she polished off the last bite, the bill came, but cops say she turned her nose up at it.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the manager got involved, and remembered Kleber from her previous visits to the restaurant ... because she allegedly didn't pay those bills either.
