A French drag queen from the 2024 Paris Olympics ceremony is speaking up about the controversy -- telling us the whole point was to showcase France’s LGBTQ+ scene and definitely not to offend anyone.

A rep for the singer and former "Drag Race France" star Piche tells TMZ ... offending anyone or a whole religion was the last thing they were thinking about. They just saw it as a fun, joyous, pop culture moment that most of the planet felt.

Coco Gauff was eliminated from the singles competition at the Paris Olympics Monday morning ... but her match didn't come without controversy, as an argument with the chair umpire left her in tears.

After dropping the first set 7-6(7), the 20-year-old tennis star, tied up two games a piece in the 2nd set, and with the score tied 30-30, her opponent, Croatia's Donna Vekic, served the ball ... which a line judge said was out of bounds, awarding Gauff the point.

However, the chair umpire -- Jaume Campistol -- declared the shot in ... and that set Gauff off.

Egyptian fencer Nada Hafez had a blade in her hand and apparently a bun in the oven during the Olympic Games this week -- she just revealed she was SEVEN MONTHS pregnant during competitions!!

The 26-year-old made the stunning announcement after reaching the round of 16 in the women's saber event in Paris ... writing on her Instagram page that her matches had a little bit of a 2v1 flair to them.

"It was me, my competitor, & my yet-to-come to our world, little baby!" Hafez said. "My baby & I had our fair share of challenges, be it both physical & emotional."

Teammates that keep each other's privates warm apparently win Olympic medals together ... 'cause Tom Daley revealed he once gifted his diving partner, Noah Williams, a "c*** sock" before they nabbed silver in Paris on Monday.

Daley actually told his fans about the unique gift way back in January -- some six months before the two teamed up to podium at the men's synchronized 10-meter diving event in France.

The guys were doing a Q and A on YouTube when Daley said the present was a last-minute 21st birthday gift for Williams.

Nicole Kidman's 16-year-old daughter Sunday Rose made a rare public appearance Monday in Paris with her actress mother – and the two beauties are spitting images of one and other.

Nicole – who shares Sunday Rose with her country star husband Keith Urban – showed up on the red carpet at last night's OMEGA watch event in the City of Lights. And she was accompanied by her looklike daughter and the two made quite the splash.

Excitable fans went wild online over Jules Bouyer at the Paris games, sharing pics of the soaked springboard diver after one of his recent events -- mainly to highlight his bulge, which was making a big splash despite his teeny weeny swimsuit.

A key angle of Bouyer from the side gives fans an up-close and personal view of his junk in the trunk, which certainly thrilled international audiences. But this isn’t his first time he's made everyone go wild at the Olympics.

A Team Japan supporter used Caitlin Clark's absence from the Olympics to direct some trash talk toward the Red, White and Blue on Monday ... with the clever fan making a sign referencing the team's decision not to bring the Indiana Fever star along for the ride.

The little poster was spotted ahead of A'ja Wilson and Co.'s opening matchup against Japan in the preliminary round of the 2024 Paris Games ... and it read, "You need Caitlin Clark to beat us!"

The "Weekend Update" anchor -- who's notably ditched his shoes while working the surfing competition for the 2024 Paris Games -- probably wishes his dogs were more protected upon his arrival in French Polynesia ... 'cause he just showed off three of his toes wrapped in gauze on Monday.

Jost joked about the ailment on Instagram ... saying, "You know it’s going great when you’ve been to the Olympic medical tent more than any of the athletes."
