Flea I’ve Got Bees … 200,000 of Them!!!
-
EXCLUSIVE
There's a buzz around Flea ... a roaring, deafening buzz.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist put 3 beehives in his backyard last month ... each holding more than 60,000 bees.
The question, of course, why? Two reasons ... he really digs bees. But his passion for environmentalism has given him hives, because the honeybee population is dying off.
We’re told he’s only been doing it for a few months and has already mastered the craft, but it’s more of a hobby than anything else since RHCP aren't touring right now.
The reason that's important ... no bees means no bee pollination = a lot less food.
Hope he doesn't get Flea bitten.

Jericho the Lion High Alert For Poachers and Hunters
Jericho the lion has a security team to ensure he isn't hunted and killed like his kindred spirit, Cecil.
An official from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force tells TMZ, a research team is monitoring Jericho's every move and are ready to pounce if anything looks suspicious.
Jericho has taken over alpha male duties for the pride, and if he's killed the animals that were once under Cecil's watch will be unprotected in the wild.
Researchers are tracking Jericho as best they can with a GPS device.
A report surfaced Saturday that Jericho was killed, which thankfully turned out to be false.
Officials in Zimbabwe have put a ban on hunting lions around the park in question, and if any poachers are spotted in the area, authorities will take swift action.

Cecil the Lion Zimbabwe Conservation Group to Dentist: Here's the Drill ...
The dentist who killed Cecil the lion can acquit himself by putting down his bow and arrow and picking up a drill.
An official from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force tells TMZ, as much as they condemn what Dr. Walter Palmer did to their beloved lion, they don't think he deserves the torrent of threats that have come his way.
The org has an idea ... that Dr. Palmer should come back to Zimbabwe and provide free dental services to the poor ... a way of repenting for his bad deed. He says it's like community service.
The official says pointing the finger at Dr. Palmer is misguided, because the problem is much larger, adding, "Cecil would not have enjoyed the threats of violence he's getting right now."
