An AI security system spotted a teenager with a gun and promptly alerted the police in Baltimore ... well, at least it thought it did -- but it was only flagging a bag of cheesy goodness.

New body cam footage from Kenwood High School in Baltimore County, Maryland captured the incident where Taki Allen -- a 16-year-old student -- gets patted down while handcuffed after an AI-powered gun detection system flagged him, believing he was carrying.

After searching him, they found nothing ... an officer on the body cam tries to explain it away as the AI system firing off the alarm because of "the way you guys were eating chips, Doritos whatever, it picked it up as a gun."

Ellen Greenberg's parents say Philadelphia officials are still trying to clean up the city's mess from a botched investigation ... which is why no one will admit Ellen was murdered.

Sandee and Josh Greenberg joined us on "TMZ Live" Wednesday to talk about a medical examiner recently reaffirming their daughter Ellen's death as a suicide ... and, they told us it's all spurred on by corruption.

According to the Greenbergs, they weren't surprised at the ruling ... because it's the answer they've gotten from city officials for years ... which they see as an attempt to simply get to them to stop digging.

A Texas man is accusing a Customs and Border Protection agent of fatally shooting his pet dog during a sweep for undocumented migrants at his home -- but the feds say the pooch was at fault because it was too hostile.

Although the shooting went down in early September ... the story of what happened stayed under the radar until this past weekend and TMZ just got an update from the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees CBP.

A spokesperson for DHS tells us ... CBP agents entered the El Paso residence with consent from the homeowner. While they were inside, the owner's dog, named Chop, "aggressively charged [at] the agent" and "fearing for his safety, the officer discharged their firearm." DHS says its is currently reviewing the matter.

Doug Martin's family is shedding more light on the ex-NFL star's death ... revealing the 36-year-old privately struggled with mental health issues over the years -- and they were actively trying to get him help prior to his passing.

Martin's former agency -- Athletes First -- shared a statement on behalf of the family on Monday ... which explained how Martin's parents had contacted local authorities earlier in the night for "medical assistance."

The family said Doug became "overwhelmed and disoriented" ... which led him to leave the home and enter a neighbor's residence two doors down the street, where he was then taken into custody.

Armani White's recent arrest for disorderly conduct for filming a music video on the highway was caught on police body cam.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained the footage of Armani and his crew interacting with London Police Department officers on October 12 just outside Newport, Kentucky, as the "Billie Eilish" rapper was in town as part of T-Pain's nationwide tour.

We also got a clip of Armani breaking his silence during his set at the October 19, Birmingham, AL stop, where he told the crowd, he cracked the biggest smile in his mug shot because he refuses to be painted as a criminal!!!

2:28 PM PT -- Court documents TMZ Sports has obtained allege Kam Jones told cops "he did not know he was speeding and was running late for practice for the Indiana Pacers."

The docs also state Jones "did not know" the officer had initially been trying to pull him over.

Indiana Pacers rookie Kam Jones is currently behind bars just days before the NBA season -- the former Marquette standout was arrested after a "brief" police chase in Indianapolis.

Doug Martin died while in police custody after being arrested following a break-in to an Oakland home ... according to a new report.

The East Bay Times -- citing anonymous sources -- claims the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back was taken to a hospital, where he later died, after being contacted by Oakland Police ... who were responding to a reported home break-in early Saturday near the Oakland Zoo.

Oakland Police says officers were simultaneously told the suspected burglar was experiencing a medical emergency. A "brief struggle" followed, and the individual became unresponsive after being taken into custody.

The United States Secret Service is looking into a hunting stand found in Florida which they say had a direct sightline to where Air Force One could park.

The law enforcement agency revealed Sunday they found the stand near Palm Beach International Airport last week ... releasing a photo of the structure set up in a tree.

In a statement released to media, the U.S. Secret Service Chief of Communications, Anthony Guglielmi said, "During advance security preparations prior to the Palm Beach arrival, which included the use of technology and comprehensive physical sweeps, our teams identified items of interest near Palm Beach International Airport."

Vince McMahon recorded a big win in his reckless driving case on Thursday ... he was given access to a special program where, if he meets a certain set of criteria, his charges will be dropped in a year.

A Stamford, CT judge allowed the former WWE honcho into an accelerated pretrial rehabilitation that reportedly ensures if McMahon keeps his nose clean, donates $1,000 to charity and adheres to driving lawfully, his case will be tossed in October 2026.

Joshua Garrison was apparently caught on surveillance video wearing absolutely nothing as he went on an alleged burglary spree this week through Pinellas Park -- and lucky for him, police captured him, or he could have ended up shot by neighbors.

WFLA-TV interviewed neighbors in Pinellas Park who said Garrison might have been shot if the cops hadn't placed him in handcuffs. One person told the outlet ... “We are all Second Amendment people here in Pinellas Park; we will shoot you. He got lucky we didn’t wake up.”

LAPD's sitting on a potential goldmine in the D4vd investigation ... surveillance videos from the singer's Hollywood Hills rental home that could reveal whether Celeste Rivas was there prior to her mysterious death.

TMZ has learned cops seized all the footage from multiple security cameras at the house last month while executing a search warrant. The owner of the house, Malden Trifunovic, tells us the external cameras would show anyone who went in or out of the house ... so, the footage could help cops track Celeste's movements leading up to her demise.

Malden says he hasn't seen any of the footage himself, because he intentionally did not have access to the cameras, to allow his renters privacy -- so, he has no idea if Celeste was ever in the house. He says he's asked LAPD for a copy of the warrant and an itemized list of what was seized from the house, but has not gotten a response.

10:03 AM PST -- Belton police tell TMZ … Rudy Youngblood was arrested Tuesday after an officer stopped to talk to the owner of a vehicle parked near a Lake Belton boat ramp at about 12:20 AM.

During the stop, it was discovered the Travis County Sheriff’s Office had a warrant out for his arrest for assaulting a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation.

Furthermore, a white crystalline substance was located on the actor during the arrest, police say. He is still in Bell County Jail with additional charges pending the lab results.

Actor Rudy Youngblood -- best known for his role in Mel Gibson's Oscar-nominated film "Apocalypto" -- has been arrested for allegedly launching a violent attack on someone close to him, according to police.

Rudy was arrested by Belton police officers in Texas early Tuesday morning ... after he allegedly assaulted a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation, cops said.

He's being held at the Bell County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

9:32 AM PST -- Garry Chapman's attorney Scott Morro tells TMZ… his client was reinstated, but first must complete a 120 hour suspension from the Priceville Police Department. He says they disagree with the decision and plan to appeal, plus file a lawsuit.

Dog the Bounty Hunter's son is back in the police force in Alabama after being placed on leave -- and then fired -- following his involvement in a fatal high-speed car chase, TMZ can confirm.

Dog -- real name Duane Chapman -- posted the exciting news on social media Tuesday evening, sharing himself and several smiling family members surrounding his son Garry Chapman, who was dressed in a gray suit.

He celebrated the victory in a lengthy caption and praised his son for acting "with honor, courage, and integrity while doing his job to protect and serve" from the start, while also denouncing the car chase suspect.

Dashcam video shows the moment Alec Baldwin crashed his wife Hilaria's Range Rover headfirst into a tree.

The footage is from a front-facing camera on the garbage truck Alec claims cut him off ... and you see the commercial truck pull out from a driveway onto the main road, making a right turn before Baldwin's SUV comes into view and crashes into a tree trunk in East Hampton, New York.

It appears the garbage truck slows down as Alec goes around to the right, drives off the road and smashes into some timber.

Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen were involved in a car wreck Monday, smashing a Range Rover into a tree in the Hamptons ... and local police confirm Alec's explanation of what happened on the rainy neighborhood street.

Alec took to Instagram yesterday to give his side as to what happened when he crashed his wife's SUV ... explaining he and Stephen were in town for the Hamptons Film Festival when the crash happened.

"At approximately 12:01pm on Monday, October 13, the EHTPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on State Route 27, Pantigo Road near Cross Highway. A white 2023 Range Rover, operated by Alec Baldwin, with passenger Stephen Baldwin, was found to have struck a tree on the Eastbound shoulder of the roadway while avoiding the turning action of a 2020 Mack commercial truck, registered to National Waste Services out of Bay Shore, NY."
