Border Control chief Greg Bovino was eviscerated Sunday on CNN, when anchor Dana Bash tore into the Trump Administration's story that Alex Pretti was killed because he was brandishing a weapon and was there to massacre border patrol agents.

Bash used the "who-you-gonna-believe-me-or-your-lying-eyes" technique to challenge Bovino at every step, using video and freeze frames to counter his allegations.

Bovino was asked repeatedly for any evidence showing Pretti was brandishing or even showing the concealed weapon he was legally carrying, as Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem alleged. Bovino presented no evidence but still maintained Noem was spot on.

Bash went on to challenge Bovino's initial comment that Pretti was there to massacre officers. All he could say was that Pretti brought a loaded gun to a "riot." Bash then asked if Bovino took issue with someone exercising their Second Amendment right to carry a lawful weapon to a protest ... Bovino said he did not take issue, but in this case Pretti did not do it peacefully and was impeding the work of the officers.

Jimmy Fallon says J.D. Vance won't have any problems raising another baby ... because the Vice President is used to dealing with a baby ... President Trump.

The late night talk show host poked fun at POTUS in a segment Wednesday night ... highlighting all the similarities he sees between Trump and babies.

Donald Trump appeared to advocate for dictators at an event at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday.

The president was speaking at the CEO reception and dinner event and reflected on his speech from earlier in the day, in which he claimed the United States wouldn't use military force to take control of Greenland.

Trump asserted his address was well-received, stating ... "I can't believe it, we got good reviews on that speech. Usually they say, 'He's a horrible dictator type person. I'm a dictator.' But sometimes you need a dictator."

While promoting his new film, "Moses the Black," 50 -- who executive-produced the movie -- stressed that while the project dapples in religious themes, it should be looked at as pure entertainment.

50 told an audience at a recent screening ... "There's two things they tell you to stay away from. They tell you to stay away from religion and stay away from politics, because no matter what you think, someone passionately disagrees with you."

President Trump's potty mouth is rubbing off on other world leaders, including a European Parliament official who gave DT a dose of his own medicine.

Anders Vistisen --  a Danish member of the European Parliament -- stood up in front of his fellow politicians Tuesday and delivered a scathing speech that targeted Trump for threatening to take over Greenland, which is currently under the authority of Denmark.

President Donald Trump just penned a love letter to college football ahead of his appearance at Monday's championship game ... saying the sport is as American as it gets!!

President Trump seems to be calling the shots at CBS News these days -- at least when it comes to last week's interview with anchor Tony Dokoupil.

Dokoupil -- the new face of the "CBS Evening News" -- landed a 13-minute interview with Trump, which was broadcast Tuesday from a Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan.

The New York Times reports that after they wrapped their discussion, Trump's chief spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, walked up to Dokoupil and his team and issued a stern warning from the president.

Piers Morgan is hospitalized after a painful fall, which landed him with a brand new hip.

The broadcaster revealed Sunday he's recovering in a London hospital after tripping at a restaurant, suffering a serious femur fracture that required a hip replacement.

Morgan shared the update on X, posting a photo from his hospital bed and explaining he tripped on a small step while dining out. He joked the New Year was already "off to a cracking start."
