Jax Taylor is speaking out after Brittany Cartwright obtained a temporary restraining order against him ... admitting he made mistakes during the darkest period of his addiction, while strongly disputing her abuse allegations.

Jax says he is "truly ashamed" of how he behaved in 2024 and takes "full responsibility" for it ... but says that version of him is not the man he is today.

The reality TV star says he got help and went to treatment, and is now 21 months sober. He says he remains committed to therapy, his mental health, and changing his life.

Jax says he was shocked to see claims involving alleged incidents from more than two years ago brought up now ... particularly because, he says, no police reports were filed or criminal charges brought against him in connection with them.

Brittany Cartwright is giving a disturbing look at the alleged aftermath of one of her blowups with Jax Taylor ... showing off a badly bruised knee and damage inside their home.

Photos filed with the court and obtained by TMZ show dark bruising around Brittany's knee and leg ... along with a coffee table flipped over and a pic showing an iPad looking seriously busted up -- with Jax standing behind her.

Brittany says the damage came during a July 2024 incident ... claiming Jax got furious after going through private messages on her iPad.

A Hulu source tells TMZ ... the streamer remains fully supportive of Taylor and expects her to continue participating in the hit reality series ... a clear vote of confidence as she continues her journey both personally and professionally.

Jen Shah is officially done serving her federal prison sentence … and the former "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star says she's ready to start a new chapter.

Jen told The Hollywood Reporter that Friday marks the official end of her sentence for her role in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme.

She says ... "I made decisions that had serious consequences, and I accept those consequences."

Jen also says she's spent years reflecting on the people she trusted, the red flags she ignored and the moments when she should have listened to her instincts.

Brittany Cartwright is going after Jax Taylor's jugular in their divorce case, filing a domestic violence temporary restraining order in which she claims Jax threatened to "gut" her "like a f***en fish" and physically attacked her, according to new court documents.

The restraining order, obtained by TMZ, was filed Thursday in L.A. Superior Court and granted by a judge, who ordered Jax to stay 100 yards away from Brittany. Brittany also requested sole custody of their 5-year-old son Cruz, but the judge denied the request pending a court hearing.

Brittany also filed a declaration laying out a pattern of abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of Jax over the last decade. In court docs, Brittany says Jax exhibited "coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence perpetrated upon me."

George Santos is coming for Kim Kardashian over North West's latest magazine cover ... blasting the reality star for acting more like her daughter's "pimp" than her mom.

The former Congressman unloaded on Kim on social media after North's Dazed Digital cover made the rounds ... blasting the 13-year-old's look and the way she's being raised.

TMZ obtained the alleged texts Brittany filed as court exhibits in her restraining order petition ... Brittany says the messages were sent after Jax showed up at her home to pick up their son Cruz and caused a scene.

The following day, Brittany says she sent a message, dated July 15, 2026, reading, "You have been warned I will call police for trespassing and again my son is signed up for camp and going to we rock the spectrum. YOU ARE NOT MY BOSS. Grow up and leave me alone you are sick and will never change."

This prompted Jax to reply, "Are you threatening me that sounds like a threat."
