Firefighters in Northern Idaho responded to a brush fire Sunday ... and, now two people have been shot and killed.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said firefighters responded to the reports of a brush fire this afternoon around 1:30 PM local time at Canfield Mountain. The shooting began about 30 minutes later, authorities say.

The two people who have been shot and killed are firefighters, CNN reports. Despite the shooting starting more than four hours ago, no one is in custody at this time.

A neighborhood in Philadelphia was blown apart by an explosion early Sunday morning ... and, pictures taken at the scene captured the devastation.

The Philly Fire Department shared pictures from the scene in Nicetown–Tioga -- a North Philadelphia neighborhood -- where the acting PFD chief Daniel McCarty said a trio of row houses "exploded in on themselves" at around 4:30 AM ET.

Photos show firefighters dousing the houses in water while the smoking, smoldering remains of houses litter the streets.

Motocross Star Aidan Zingg Dead at 16 ... Killed in Mid-Race Accident

Aidan Zingg -- a young up-and-coming motocross star -- was killed in a racing accident this weekend ... according to multiple reports.

The racer was competing in the 2025 Mammoth Motocross event in Mammoth Lakes, California Saturday where he sustained his fatal injuries.

According to the motocross focused outlet DirtbikeLover, Zingg was participating in the event when he crashed and was "run over by multiple bikes." It's unclear what caused the accident.

Country singer Conner Smith's traffic collision in Nashville sparked a flurry of 911 calls ... and, in one, a caller says the person who was hit was actually sitting up in the street after the crash.

TMZ has obtained audio from the aftermath of the incident ... and, it seems multiple people called 911 -- telling the operators a person was lying in the street after a truck hit them in a crosswalk.

One caller says the person -- who they say in the call is a man, but who was later revealed to be a 77-year-old woman named Dorothy Dobbins -- was actually sitting up in the street. It's unclear if she was doing so under her own power or if a person on the scene was helping her.

Rihanna's Father Ronald Fenty's Cause of Death Released

Rihanna's dad, Ronald Fenty, died from cancer, pneumonia and other serious illnesses ... TMZ has learned.

Fenty's death on May 30 was caused by acute respiratory failure, pancreatic cancer and aspiration pneumonia -- which is a bacterial lung infection -- according to a death certificate obtained by TMZ.

Other causes listed in the document include acute renal failure and acute tubular necrosis -- both of which involve extensive kidney damage.

Brian Wilson Cause of Death Revealed

Brian Wilson had multiple respiratory issues when he passed away ... and, now we know the reason why he simply stopped breathing.

TMZ has obtained the death certificate for Wilson ... which lists "respiratory arrest" as his main cause of death. According to the American CPR Care Association, respiratory arrest occurs when the heart is still beating, but the lungs stop functioning, making it impossible for the person to get oxygen.

Sepsis and cystitis -- infection issues -- are also listed on the document ... and, associated factors include neurodegenerative disorder, obstructive sleep apnea, chronic respiratory failure and chronic kidney disease.

The man accused of killing "King of the Hill" voice actor Jonathan Joss is claiming self-defense -- according to his lawyer.

Attorney Nico LaHood says Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez -- known as "Freddy" to friends and family -- is pleading not guilty, and insists he's innocent, adding ... "It’s difficult for anyone who's been accused of something they didn’t do, especially murder."

Alvarez was arrested earlier this month after allegedly shooting and killing his neighbor, Joss, during a heated argument in San Antonio, Texas, according to cops. The late actor’s husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, immediately dubbed it a hate crime -- claiming homophobic slurs were hurled by Alvarez before the fatal shot.

Tragedy struck California's Lake Tahoe over the weekend when a boat capsized, leaving six people dead and two others missing.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the 27-foot vessel reportedly overturned due to a large swell around 3 PM. Authorities say the gold Chris-Craft vessel capsized due to a large swell.

Of the ten people onboard, six adults were pronounced dead at the scene. Two survivors were rescued and rushed to a hospital.

On Sunday morning, the Coast Guard and El Dorado County Sheriff's Office returned to the scene to actively search the waters in hopes of locating the remaining two individuals, who are still unaccounted for.
