Jamie Foxx Shame on TMZ For Putting Kanye on Display
Jamie Foxx tore into TMZ for giving Kanye West a platform to express himself, because he says something's not right with Yeezy.
Jamie was at Employees Only -- a WeHo bar -- and railed on the "TMZ Live" show featuring Kanye. Foxx says he's not about to judge his friend for the slavery and other comments he made and suggests he needs help.
One thing that's confusing ... Jamie ends with, "Stop making stupid people famous!" Thing is ... he doesn't say who.

Kanye West Going off Meds Could Explain Slavery Comment
Kanye West is not taking his meds, and people close to him believe some of the comments he made on "TMZ Live" were a result of that.
Kanye himself said he was shunning doctors who ordered him to take 3 pills a day ... he says it seriously messed with his mind in a big way and he's now taking 1 or 2 a week.
People close to Kanye say he's talked about slavery before as a metaphor, and was unartfully expressing himself when he said slavery was a choice. In fact, Kanye tweeted, "the reason why I brought up the 400 years point is because we can't be mentally imprisoned for another 400 years. We need free thought now. Even the statement was an example of free thought ... It was just an idea."
We're told the meds have been problematic ... doctors aren't even sure what works and what doesn't, and Kanye is controlling his own destiny by self-regulating ... for better or for worse.

Ty Barnett Slavery was a Choice, Ye? F*** You, And Shut the F*** Up!!!
"Last Comic Standing" star Ty Barnett is HOT over Kanye West saying 400 years of slavery was a choice black people made -- and says Chicago should be done with the rapper.
Ty, who's from Chicago, was in Hollywood Tuesday when he tore Kanye a new one, and not just for the slavery comment. He's also pissed Ye had the nerve to bash former President Obama for not doing anything to help their hometown.
My point is for us to have stayed in that position even though the numbers were on our side means that we were mentally enslaved
@kanyewest
While Kanye's tried to clarify some of the controversial comments he made on "TMZ Live" ... Ty's not having it, and says Mr. West needs to shut up and let a different Chi-Town rapper take the lead.
Of course, Ty used a few more effs when he said it.

Kanye West I Got Hooked on Opioids After Liposuction
Kanye West had liposuction and started popping painkillers ... all leading up to the 2016 breakdown that landed him in a hospital for more than a week.
Kanye revealed his battle with opioids during his appearance Tuesday on "TMZ Live" ... as he talked about going to visit then President-elect Trump in December of 2016. He says, "I was drugged the f**k out, bro!"
He went on to explain he was addicted to opioids that doctors had prescribed after he had lipo. Kanye says he started taking more pills during the Pablo tour. You'll recall, the tour was cut short in November 2016 due to his hospitalization.
Kanye's got major beef with the amount of meds he was prescribed, and thinks America in general is drugged out.
As for why he had lipo? It couldn't have been an easy decision -- considering the tragic circumstances of his mother's death -- but Kanye says he didn't want to look "fat." He says that concern traces back to the way he feels the media treated his brother-in-law, Rob Kardashian.
You can see the full Kanye interview on Tuesday's "TMZ Live."

BLM's DeRay Mckesson Kanye's So Wrong About Slavery ... He Needs to Lie Low for a Bit
DeRay Mckesson -- a prominent leader of the Black Lives Matter movement -- says Kanye West's right about one thing -- slavery was a choice ... but it was the choice of white people.
We spoke with DeRay Tuesday after Kanye's explosive visit to the TMZ newsroom, in which the rapper said 400 years of slavery "sounds like a choice" ... and the civil rights activist believes Kanye's got a warped sense of history.
Mckesson calls out Kanye for victim-blaming, and reiterates his point -- oppressed people don't have a choice about the bad things inflicted on them.
DeRay also believes Kanye's simply not making sense because he's uninformed, but has a suggestion on how he can fix that problem.
Hint -- it doesn't involve more TV appearances.

Kanye West just told the TMZ newsroom why he believes slavery is a choice and why he decided to sport his Make America Great Again hat ... and it all went down Tuesday morning on "TMZ Live."
Kanye appeared on the show with Candace Owens where they explained "free thought" and how it can make the world a better place ... from a place of love.
During the conversation Kanye said, "When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice."
Van from our newsroom took great offense and fired back. Things got intense and ultimately led to a face-to-face at Van's desk.
There's A LOT more that went down -- and it's all on today on "TMZ Live"
