TV Stars

HBO cleaned up at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards ... and then a whole bunch of celebs hit the after-party to celebrate and keep the winning streak going ... and we've got the pics.

San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood was buzzing with activity Monday night after the biggest night in TV ... and Brooks Nader's skintight red dress created most of that buzz.

"The Pitt" star Noah Wyle held up his Emmy for the cameras ... he's now won 4 since the series premiered in 2025 ... and for the second straight year he's taken home the hardware for lead actor in a drama series.

Nick Reiner won't face the death penalty in his criminal case ... and it seems the public won't be clued in on certain details of the case -- because the Los Angeles County District Attorney says his siblings don't want grand jury testimony released to the public.

Los Angeles D.A. Nathan Hochman spoke to the assembled media outside the Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Downtown Los Angeles Tuesday morning ... confirming our report that his office won't pursue the death penalty.

D.A. Hochman noted his office thoroughly reviewed the case, listened to Nick's siblings Jake and Romy Reiner's desires ... and decided that life without the possibility of parole -- the other max sentence for Nick -- is sufficient.

Keke Palmer did not appear at the Emmys despite being announced as a presenter … and she has yet to explain the mystery absence.

The actress was supposed to take the stage with "Saturday Night Live" star Marcello Hernandez to give out the Outstanding Director for a Comedy Series award ... but she was a no-show.

Marcello ended up giving out the award to "Widow's Bay" Hiro Murai ... all by his lonesome.

The 2026 Emmys honored a long list of television legends during their In Memoriam ... but several familiar names were noticeably missing, including Chuck Norris, Daveigh Chase, Nicholas Brendon and more.

Chuck, who passed away in March, had a decades-long TV career and was most known for his 9-season action series "Walker, Texas Ranger" -- leaving fans shocked he was left out of the tribute.

In addition to his 9 seasons on 'Walker,' Chuck had appearances in "The Goldbergs," "Hawaii Five-0" and "Sons of Thunder" -- he even had his own animated series called "Chuck Norris: Karate Commandos."

The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards may have included Meg Stalter painted gold on the red carpet, a cameo from Taylor Swift, and moving tributes to the legends we lost this past year, but the winners were front and center at tonight's awards!

Sally Field took home an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie Award for her role in the adaptation of the novel "Remarkably Bright Creatures".

Matthew Rhys also set Emmy history by winning both Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series Award for "Widow's Bay" and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie Award for "The Beast in Me.

Jamie Lee Curtis became overwhelmed with emotion while remembering Rob Reiner during the Emmys In Memoriam.

Curtis took the stage, breaking down during her tribute to her late friend and giving her speech through tears.

Check out the video ... JLC's emotional praise got the audience worked up, too -- you can see when the cameras cut to celebs in the crowd.

Late legend Catherine O'Hara was honored during the Emmys' In Memoriam segment Monday.

The acclaimed actress' on-screen children, Macaulay Culkin, Annie Murphy and Dan Levy delivered a touching tributes to Catherine.

Culkin recalled how he called his "Home Alone" co-star "mama," explaining she wasn't just a mother to her own kids, but felt like a mother figure to him, too.

Michael J. Fox brought the Emmys audience to their feet while accepting the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.

The wheelchair-bound actor took the stage to accept the honor for his contributions to Parkinson’s disease research and his longtime advocacy.

Fox -- who's been battling Parkinson's since the 90s -- received a standing ovation as he addressed the crowd with an emotional speech.

The 2026 Emmy Awards honored Hayden Panettiere during the In Memoriam segment of their broadcast Monday.

Her photo flashed across the screen during the montage, which was underscored by Noah Kahan's rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

Hayden tragically passed away last month, when boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach found her unresponsive in a South Carolina apartment.

The Emmys red carpet is officially heating up ... Zendaya, Selena Gomez, and Nicole Kidman are already making major style statements!

Ciara Miller, the "Summer House" star and one of the hosts of E!'s Emmys red-carpet coverage, turned heads as she arrived at the Peacock Theater Monday night. And Adam Brody was another early standout, keeping things sharp in a classic black suit with a pop of color.

Host Mariska Hargitay is looking like the trophy herself -- the 'Law & Order' star is stunning in red before she hits the stage hosting TV's biggest night.

Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend Brian Hickerson was being heckled for the late actress’ death moments before his bar altercation that led to his brother Zach’s arrest, TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the brothers tell TMZ … Brian, who has lost around 40 pounds while grieving Hayden’s death, was encouraged to leave the house this weekend by his brother.

We’re told Zach wanted Brian to get out because he has been extremely heartbroken since Hayden’s death ... and convinced Brian to go out for a low-key night to watch the game at a local restaurant.

Taylor Swift wasn't physically at the Emmys Monday ... but that didn't stop her from making an appearance.

The pop star made a quick cameo in an 'SVU' sketch alongside Emmys host Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T.

The bit was full of meta jokes as the team tried to crack whether or not Taylor would be attending TV's biggest night -- and Taylor's cat, named after Mariska's 'SVU' character, was her co-detective.

Hayden Panettiere's neighbors were suspicious of three "shady" people who regularly came to the actress' West Hollywood condo for years … and believed they were drug dealers, TMZ has learned.

Sources who live in Hayden's building tell TMZ ... they saw two women and a man coming to her unit "frequently" from 2021 until the week before Hayden's death.

One neighbor said the last time they saw the man -- a week before Hayden's death -- he came with a bag with the name "Brian" on it. We're told the man looked to be in his mid-30s, while the two women appeared to be in their early 20s.

Hayden Panettiere took one fatal pill the day she died, and multiple law enforcement sources believe it was oxycodone laced with fentanyl.

Our sources -- all connected to the case and with direct knowledge -- say Hayden had a "long time drug dealer" in Los Angeles, who was providing her several black-market prescription drugs, including oxycodone.

We're told Hayden took several drugs she purchased from her dealer on the flight from L.A. to South Carolina the day before she died. Authorities believe she took an oxy the morning of her death, and they think that pill was laced with fentanyl.

Mariska Hargitay took a stab at Nicole Kidman's AMC ad as she kicked off hosting the Emmys Monday ... while the iconic actress was sitting right there!

The "Law & Order: SVU" star ripped the recognizable promo word for word, and Nicole was quick to call her out.

When the movie star tried to get Mariska to back off her bit ... the Emmys host said not a chance!

They say dress for the part you want and Meg Stalter's taking it literally ... dressing like an Emmys trophy as she hit the awards show red carpet.

Meg pulled out all the stops ... covering herself head to toe in gold paint, a CAKES Cleavage bra and a massive pair of gilded wings.

The comedy queen is nominated for her first Emmy tonight ... she's up for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her role as Kayla Schaeffer in "Hacks."
