Eddie Alvarez shouldn't worry about his cash flow in his UFC 205 matchup with Conor McGregor -- 'cause if he beats the Irishman, HE'LL BE RICH ... so says Jay Glazer.

Conor ripped into Alvarez at the UFC 205 media event Tuesday -- clowning the guy for not renegotiating his UFC contract after he was tapped for the biggest fight of his life.

But Glazer says it's not that big of a deal ... because a victory over Conor will seal some big paychecks moving forward.

Conor McGregor just went off on Eddie Alvarez -- claiming the guy's an idiot for agreeing to fight him at UFC 205 without signing a fat ass new contract.

You gotta watch the video ... McGregor goes off about how everyone in the UFC is trying to be like him these days -- but there's one huge difference ... no one's cashing checks as big as him.

During the media event, Conor also bragged that he expects to make roughly $40 MILLION this year ... which will help him achieve his goal of dethroning Cristiano Ronaldo on the top of the Forbes list.

UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley has a major problem with Donald Trump talking about Ferguson, MO -- warning the GOP nom to shut his mouth about his hometown ... or else.

Woodley's beef is based on the fact that Trump has never been to Ferguson -- yet he mentioned the city in the debates Monday night when referencing cities with bad relationships between cops and citizens.

"I got something for you Donald Trump," Woodley said ... "Quit mentioning Ferguson. Because you ain't never been to Ferguson and that's where I'm from."

"He gotta keep Ferguson out his mouth so he can keep my fist out of his mouth."

"I take that personally because he hasn't been there."

UFC ref Herb Dean says he spoke with fellow ref "Big" John McCarthy after he was kicked in the Octagon by Roy "Big Country" Nelson ... and says there's a damn good reason he didn't fight back.

Nelson went after McCarthy after knocking out "Bigfoot" Silva at UFC Fight Night Brasilia on Saturday -- because he claimed the ref took too long to stop the fight.

FYI, Nelson and Silva are friends outside the Octagon -- and Nelson claimed McCarthy put Silva's health in danger by not stopping the fight as soon as he knocked him down.

But Dean says Nelson is just wrong on this one ... praising "Big" John for the way he handled the fight ... and explaining why he didn't explode on Nelson right after the incident.

For his part, Nelson says he has apologized to "Big" John.

The biggest fight in women's MMA could actually happen -- because Dana White tells TMZ Sports ... Ronda Rousey "absolutely, positively" wants to fight Cris "Cyborg" Justino.

With Cyborg coming off ANOTHER dominating performance this weekend, we had to ask White if UFC's fastest rising superstar will finally get her wish ... a shot at Rousey.

That's Cris "Cyborg" Justino's message to Ronda Rousey -- explaining why Rousey is a terrible role model for not getting back in the Octagon after her loss to Holly Holm.

He's 49 years old, but WWE legend Bill Goldberg says there's a real chance he could get back in the ring ... as a pro kickboxer.

He's been offered fights in the past -- including a 2015 match with ex-WWE star Alberto Del Rio -- but turned it down at the time saying he needed more training.

But Goldberg -- who owns a Muay Thai gym in California -- just appeared on Submission Radio Australia and said he's still entertaining the idea of fighting for GLORY kickboxing.

"I don’t think the door will ever be closed on that," Goldberg said.

"Even at 49 years old I still really enjoy doing it. I really enjoy learning, I’m a student of the martial art and I’m a student of what it stands for and it’s become kind of a way of life for me. It’s an addiction and it satiates a lot of things for me and it also gives me a challenge. So never say never. You never say never."

How bad do skateboarding injuries hurt? Bad enough to willingly go a round with an MMA superstar in the Octagon ... 'cause Ryan Sheckler says he'd rather take a punch from Conor McGregor than relive his worst encounter with concrete.

Sheckler -- who has had his fair share of skating injuries -- says the temporary pain from getting KO'd wouldn't even come close to what he's gone through.

"You gotta feel like I'd be knocked down in 10 seconds," Sheckler says. "The skateboarding injuries suck. The concrete sucks. So if I can get hit real quick and out, I'll take that."

"It just seems a lot simpler ... and no recovery time at the end."

CM Punk may not be the last WWE star to get his shot in the UFC ... 'cause Octagon star Alan Jouban is saying he wants his crack at a wrestling legend ... 7'0", 440-pound Big Show.

Jouban is 6'0" tall and fights at 170.
