The Victoria's Secret Angel was out in Miami Monday for a workout/photo shoot where she showed off her best positions in the gym. It's pretty impressive, except for one thing.

The 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is more under wraps than the models, because show execs are extremely worried about a possible terrorist attack.

Officials for the show announced Monday the event will be held next month in Paris. Typically the announcement is made in the Spring, but we're told the honchos decided months ago they wanted Paris as the venue, but feared if word got out it would give terrorists time to plan an attack.

We're told show officials have been secretly working with French national security agencies to thwart possible plots.

The reason behind the fears ... in addition to the show being a high-profile event, it draws scores of big celebs, making it a possible target.

The specific venue is still under wraps.

Our photog caught up with some of the models backstage Tuesday in NYC before the big show ... and it's just as glorious as you'd think, complete with Behati Prinsloo dancing around in lingerie.

We asked the models about their cravings. Shanina Shaik and another model go for the usual suspects ... chocolate, ice cream and pizza. But it's worth noting, the food table right next to them was untouched.

You gotta watch for Magdalena Frackowiak, though. Chick was NOT down with food questions ... we're guessing she was just hangry.
