Wrestling Ref 911 Audio Released After Medical Emergency

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call made after wrestling referee Dallas Edwards suffered a medical emergency in the ring during an Ohio Valley Wrestling match last Thursday ... and you can hear the panic in the voice of the caller as he desperately attempts to get help.

During the call, which occurred approximately 2-3 minutes after Edwards hit his head on the mat, the caller tells the operator the man needs help "right now."

As the call progressed, Edwards began to move, which was an encouraging sign ... but there was still great concern over his well-being. While people at the venue waited for help to arrive, multiple people jumped in to assist Edwards.

Scary scene inside the wrestling ring Thursday night in Kentucky ... when a referee suffered a medical emergency after taking a brutal hit during the match, which his girlfriend says resulted in a brain injury.

It all went down during a "four corners of chaos" match, when wrestler Brendan Balling made his way up to the top rope, ready to hit opp Tony Evans with a move. Evans, however, grabbed the ref and pushed him into Balling's path instead, sending him crashing to the mat.

The ref -- identified as Dallas Edwards -- hit his head hard. Balling checked on him, but instead of the match stopping, the guys continued. Edwards remained down, and at one point, started convulsing, in a super scary scene.

A bunch of AEW fans in Las Vegas made it crystal clear Wednesday night that they aren't happy with immigration enforcement operations going on around the country … letting out a very loud "F*** ICE" chant moments before the show's main.

It all went down at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Sin City, where Brody King took on AEW World Champion MJF for a chance to earn a title opportunity against the champ next week in Australia.

But before things got underway, fans let out a chant that was hard to mistake — with MJF looking around the arena as it happened.

The "Naked Gun" actor tells TMZ Sports he's in this world now -- and he’s not giving up an inch ahead of Sunday's SuperPower Slam at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.

"I now live in his world, and he’s going to have to make room for me," Hauser said on a joint call with Mad Dog. "I’m not letting anyone take my spot, man."

That’s why he's all in for a Lumberjack Strap Match ... where 20 men with leather belts surround the ring to make sure neither fighter walks out.

Marcus Freeman No Criminal Charges After Incident At Son's Wrestling Match

2:50 PM PT -- The Mishawaka Police Department released security footage of Marcus Freeman at his son's match on January 3. In the video, Freeman -- wearing a hoodie and jacket -- is seen consoling his son after the loss before heading toward the exit.

Moments later, something draws the attention of nearby bystanders, who turn towards Freeman's direction as what appears to be the alleged shouting match with the New Prairie assistant coach Chris Fleeger.

Notre Dame football head coach Marcus Freeman will not be charged with a crime after an altercation at his son's high school wrestling match earlier this month.

The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 3 at Mishawaka High School in Indiana, when Freeman -- head coach of the Fighting Irish since 2021 -- was there to watch his son, Penn H.S. senior Vinny, in the Al Smith Wrestling Invitational.

When Vinny lost a match, New Prairie assistant coach Chris Fleeger allegedly got into a verbal altercation with Vinny, Freeman, and Vinny's coach, Brad Harper.

Jesse Ventura's been open about his disdain for President Donald Trump over the years ... and he made it clear he feels POTUS is a "draft-dodging coward" while speaking to KMSP-TV on Thursday.

The former professional wrestler and one-time governor of Minnesota was visiting his old high school in Minneapolis Thursday to show his support for the school's staff after one of its teachers was reportedly pepper-sprayed and detained by federal officers. He claimed Trump "did what all rich white boys did" during the Vietnam War, skipping out on military service.

Trump received four determents for education, as he was attending the University of Pennsylvania, and he was given a fifth and final deferment when he was diagnosed with bone spurs following his graduation in 1968, according to Business Insider.

That's what the 39-year-old actor said ahead of his February 1, 2026, showdown with "Mad Dog" Connelly for the SuperPower Slam at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.

In a scathing promo directed at his opponent, Hauser said he's stoked to enter the squared circle ... but was shocked when his family and friends reached out to make sure he knew what he was getting into. He admitted Mad Dog is no walk in the park -- but neither is he.

AEW Star MJF made his surprise return to the ring Wednesday night across the pond in England ... and not only did it shake up the championship scene -- but it also sent the internet ablaze when he compared a wrestler to Diddy.

The former AEW World Champion looked like he hadn't lost a step in the three months he was away from the company ... and unfortunately for Swerve Strickland, he found himself right in his crosshairs.

"You really remind me a lot of this famous musician," MJF said. "You guys have a lot in common. You both call yourself moguls, you both rock chains, you both rock way too much baby oil and you're both dogsh*t rappers."

'Mr. Electricity' Steve Regal Dead at 73

Sad news in the wrestling world ... Steve Regal -- better known as "Mr. Electricity" -- passed away in July. He was 73.

The news broke on Monday and was confirmed by the National Wrestling Alliance ... which expressed its sadness over the death of its former champion.

"Defeating Denny Brown for the title, this flashy and charismatic grappler reigned atop pro wrestling’s junior heavyweight in 1986, paving a path for generations to come," NWA said.

Professional wrestlers CM Punk and his wife AJ Lee just lost their beloved dog Larry ... and CM commemorated him in the most personal and beautiful post probably of his whole life.

This is just heart-wrenching ... The World Heavyweight Champion revealed Larry took his last breath while in the couple's arms after spending more than 10 years together as a family.

According to CM, they rescued Larry in February 2015 and he changed their life by making everywhere they went with him home.
