The 2025 CFDA Awards welcomed the who's who in fashion to New York City Monday night -- but some shutterbugs clearly missed the memo when they mistook Venus Williams for Naomi Campbell!

Check out the awkward clip -- the pro tennis player arrives at the steps of the American Museum of Natural History, and eager photogs are calling her so they can get the money shot ... but they're yelling for Naomi instead. Clearly, it's not a diss to be mistaken for the supermodel, but still ... pretty uncomfortable no matter how you slice it.

Naomi showed up about an hour and a half later, according to our sources, and only posed for a few photos on the steps before making her way inside to the main event.

Former President Barack Obama went right at President Donald Trump over his expensive renovations to the White House while some Medicare patients struggle to find treatment amid the government shutdown.

Speaking to a crowd in Virginia over the weekend, Obama quipped, "He has been focused on critical issues like paving over the Rose Garden so folks don't get mud on their shoes. And gold-plating the Oval Office and building a $300 million ballroom."

Nancy Mace went off the rails at a South Carolina airport this week, launching into a foul-mouthed tirade against cops for what she claims was pure incompetence, according to a police report.

The fireworks began Thursday night at the Charleston International Airport, where cops said Mace was being chauffeured in a white BMW to catch a flight, but things soon took a wrong turn.

Police said 3 officers were waiting in the ticketing vestibule to escort Mace from the curb to her flight gate upon her arrival. While they waited, the officers were allegedly informed Mace was running 10 to 15 minutes late.

Vogue UK writer Chanté Joseph -- of the viral "Is Having a Boyfriend Embarrassing Now?" article, which has blown up the internet discussing women's perspectives on dating -- tells us the men are "outraged" and "worried" ever since the ladies got a hold of her piece.

The popularized writer tells TMZ the feedback from women on her article has been nothing but praise ... but men, on the other hand, are not too fond of her words, which have sparked worry throughout the boyfriend community.
