Chud The Builder Video Shows Chaos After Courthouse Shooting

Controversial streamer Chud the Builder has been charged in connection with Wednesday's shooting outside a Tennessee courthouse ... and new video shows the tail end of the altercation and the wild aftermath.

As TMZ reported ... the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office announced Chud -- real name Dalton Eatherly -- was charged and booked for Criminal Attempt: Murder, Employing a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony, Aggravated Assault, and Reckless Endangerment with a Deadly Weapon. 

In new video posted on X ... you can see as soon as shots were fired ... authorities rush to the scene as both men involved in the physical dispute fall to the ground. The video was taken from a building next to the courthouse, and those witnesses thought for sure one of the men was killed.

Scott Peterson Attempt to Overturn Conviction Denied

Scott Peterson's murder conviction remains intact ... with a judge shooting down his most recent appeal attempt in a thorough rebuke.

According to reports ... a San Mateo County Superior Court judge shot down Peterson's third writ of habeas corpus -- writing a 116-page decision denying all 14 claims.

Stanislaus County District Attorney Jeff Laugero told local Sacramento outlet ABC10 Peterson filed his writ in August ... which he says was nothing more than the same recycled claims his team has been using to try and win his freedom for 20 years. Laugero said the judge denied the third petition on April 27.

Tiffany Haddish's attorneys have had it with the comedian's seemingly never-ending DUI case, demanding the whole thing be tossed since there wasn't a single injury or victim!

Earlier this week, Haddish's lawyers, Marissa Goldberg and Drew Findling, filed a motion saying her 4-year-old misdemeanor case for driving under the influence should be thrown out of court because it's stuck in legal limbo and negatively impacting her career.

But now the attorneys are going even further, telling TMZ  ... "The procrastinated failure to rule on a misdemeanor case with no victims or injuries is unprecedented."

Chris Brown's ex-housekeeper is asking a judge to keep out evidence that a member of Brown's team gave her money for medical bills after his dog attacked her ... claiming it's not relevant to the case.

Maria Avila filed court documents last week telling a judge she believes defendants may attempt to introduce evidence she received money from a man named Emil Lewis or another third party.

She says Lewis has made statements that he gave the plaintiff "tens of thousands of dollars for payment of [her] medical bills" after the dog attack. Maria says she disputes this claim.

A man named David Knight just filed a lawsuit against SKIMS ... claiming he wasn't paid his full wage when he worked for SKIMS from October 2025 to December 2025 in California.

Knight claims he and other workers weren't paid overtime despite working over 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week ... and he says they weren't given legally required meal breaks or rest periods.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, the model and musician who once dated Maluma says she signed a lease at the upscale 8500 Burton Way building, paying around $12K a month after being assured the property had round-the-clock security, controlled access, and no history of break-ins.

She claims that while traveling internationally in October 2025, burglars got into her unit and made off with more than $2.1 million in luxury goods ... including designer handbags, watches, jewelry, and other property.

TMZ broke the story ... Cloobeck was arrested Tuesday in L.A. on a felony charge connected to discouraging a witness from testifying, and we're told investigators believe that witness was tied to Lavie's ongoing theft case.

The reality star, whose real name is David Comstock, was booked into the Steuben, New York, jail early this morning for misdemeanor stalking and misdemeanor criminal tampering. In case you're wondering, the tampering offense has to do with meddling with another person's property to cause them a huge inconvenience.

In addition, Comstock posed for a mugshot, and we gotta say he doesn't look very happy, but who can blame him under the circumstances. For now, Comstock is being held without bail.

Cloobeck was handcuffed and taken into custody by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in West Hollywood Tuesday morning ... though he was released a few hours later after posting a $300,000 bond. It's unclear what case Cloobeck's arrest relates to.

Cloobeck is the former CEO of Diamond Resorts International and a prominent Democratic donor who pulled his support for disgraced and now-resigned Congressman Eric Swalwell's suspended campaign for California Governor. The pair are -- or at least, were -- longtime friends ... until Swalwell was accused of sexual assault by several women earlier this year.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the reality star and mogul was awarded $167K of the $186K she requested from Ivan Cantu after she successfully shut down his lawsuit.

As TMZ first reported, Cantu sued after Kim posted his photo on social media when she intended to post a photo of a different man with the same name — a death row inmate she was advocating for. Kim argued the mix-up was an honest mistake that she corrected immediately, while Cantu claimed the incident caused significant harm to his life.
