Donald Trump and Elon Musk are beefing hard as their bromance goes up in flames -- but one tech journo says don’t count out a reboot ... 'cause these two could buddy up again.

Faiz Siddiqui -- a technology journalist and the author of "Hubris Maximus: The Shattering of Elon Musk" -- told "TMZ Live" Friday that Elon and Trump could totally kiss and make up, because, let’s face it, they’re both the type to have short memories ... when it suits them.

Joe Rogan was among the masses who were shocked yesterday when Elon Musk accused Donald Trump of being named in the so-called Epstein files ... and the popular podcast host said Musk needs to be saved from himself.

JR was in the middle of recording the latest episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" with his guest, FBI Director Kash Patel, when he was made aware of the X post ... and he was clearly floored. After responding, "Jesus Christ" ... Joe said someone needs to take Elon's phone away.

Patel immediately said he could not talk about the topic ... but that didn't stop the host from asking the FBI head if it was even possible Musk could know that info. Patel said he had no idea how that could be possible.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s bromance? Dead in the water -- and so is the Tesla Elon once gifted him, which the White House now wants gone.

Fox News says the Tesla Model S Musk picked out for Trump earlier this year is the latest casualty of their messy breakup -- with the White House now planning to ditch the flashy red ride altogether by giving it away or selling it off.

The Fox News report also claims Trump had grown tired of Musk weeks ago, before yesterday's dispute boiled over.

Donald Trump continued his war of words with Elon Musk Friday morning ... talking about his one-time adviser and campaign financier on a few news stations -- mostly dismissing this week's stunning fallout.

As TMZ previously reported ... Trump and Musk have been locked in a bitter social media feud, and it reached a boiling point yesterday when EM said via X that Trump is listed in the so-called Epstein Files -- there's no evidence of this, BTW -- and that's why they haven't been publicly released.

Later Thursday, Trump posted to Truth Social that he wasn't bothered Elon turned on him -- and he has bigger fish to fry ... which is essentially what he reiterated to CNN's Dana Bash Friday morning.

Elon Musk sent his escalating feud with Donald Trump into overdrive on Thursday ... when the billionaire tech mogul claimed the president is named in the Epstein files -- and that's why alleged documents have not been released.

Elon dropped the "bomb" minutes after Trump threatened to terminate EM's governmental subsidies and contracts to help save billions in the federal budget. Since departing the White House in his adviser role last week ... Elon has been taking swing after swing at Trump over his “disgusting abomination" known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

Elon already clearly got under Trump's skin earlier in the day on Thursday ... claiming on X that Trump owes his 2024 victory to Elon after he poured hundreds of millions into supporting the president and the GOP.

12:15 PM PT -- Elon Musk brought out his own big guns ... tweeting on X, "Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.  Have a nice day, DJT!"

11:55 AM PT -- Well this is escalating quickly ... amid the back-and-forth flame war on the two men's social media outlets, Donald Trump just went nuclear on his Truth Social platform ... appearing to threaten Musk's deals with the U.S. government.

Elon has multiple contracts with the government, and benefits from federal subsidies as well ... Musk companies Space X and Tesla both have gotten tax credits and other benefits over the years totaling billions of dollars.

In another Truth Social post, Trump said he was the one who asked Musk to leave his administration, saying he had been "wearing thin."

Elon Musk says he's the country's kingmaker ... 'cause he says Donald Trump wouldn't have won the election without him -- and the whole Republican Party would be in shambles, too!

The tech mogul fired off a series of tweets directed at POTUS ... including one where he said, without him, Trump would be sitting at home watching President Kamala Harris at the country's reins.

He adds, "Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate" ... so, Elon's pretty sure he's the only reason for the Republicans' recent decisive victory. He followed it up by accusing Republicans of being ungrateful to him.

Things seem to be back to normal for French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte ... after the slap seen around the world.

Macron and France's First Lady were arm-in-arm Sunday as they posed for the cameras with the Paris Saint-Germain soccer team at Élysée Palace -- the official residence of the French President. The photos were shot at the celebration of the PSG squad's 5-0 victory over Inter Milan during their Champions League match.

Macron's standing in the center surrounded by the PSG players ... with his wife standing by his side -- and Brigitte is more than happy to oblige. She grabs his arm and both are seen smiling.

50 Cent's going to the Oval Office eventually to have a chat with President Donald Trump about Diddy ... telling fans he plans to share his raw thoughts with the prez -- but, not to convince the president to take a pardon off the table.

The rapper has put up a flurry of posts about the president saying during a recent interview that he will consider pardoning Diddy if the mogul's convicted.

In the first, 50 wrote, "He said some really bad things about Trump ,it’s not ok. Im gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy."

President Trump is weighing in on the Diddy federal criminal trial ... saying he would look into the case and consider a potential pardon if the jury returns a guilty verdict.

Trump just doled out a bunch of pardons and commutations this week to a slew of celebs ... and he was asked Friday if he would ever consider pardoning Diddy.

POTUS says he hasn't been following the Diddy trial all that closely and he would have to "look at what's happening" and "look at the facts."

2:52 PM PT -- A spokesperson for The New York Times tells TMZ ... "Elon Musk’s statements today were inaccurate. Donald J. Trump’s lawsuit in Florida is against the Pulitzer Prize board, not The New York Times. The decision solely related to whether the case be temporarily suspended. It did not address the merits of the president’s claims."

"We understand the Pulitzer board will continue to defend its decision and we expect the case will show the quality of the reporting in The Times coverage. The Times has never received a request for a correction or been sued over the facts in our reporting. We’d also note that Musk didn’t deny any of the reporting we published this morning."

Elon Musk is scoffing at the New York Times report accusing him of abusing drugs ... claiming the Times isn't a reputable news source anyway -- so, don't read a dang thing they publish.

Joe Biden probably won't be running for office again ... so, he's not holding back about his feelings toward people questioning his mental and physical competence -- claiming he could still knock 'em out!

The former President of the United States was in Delaware Friday ... giving his first public remarks since revealing his prostate cancer diagnosis.

A reporter asked Biden about claims that he wasn't totally mentally and physically fit while he was in office -- allegations levelled in Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's new book "Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again."

The FBI's telling its employees to leave their Pride at the door ... instructing agents and others in the agency not to celebrate or otherwise promote Pride events at work, according to a new report.

A rep for the Federal Bureau of Investigations sent an email, obtained by Fox News Digital (FND), to all employees to clarify the agency's position on the LGBTQ+ community's biggest month -- after the transition from the Biden to the Trump administrations.

FND says FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs Ben Williamson wrote, "I want to take the opportunity to make FBI leadership’s expectations clear: There should be no official FBI actions, events, or messaging regarding Pride Month." June is officially recognized in the U.S. as LGBTQ Pride Month.

Alice Marie Johnson says Larry Hoover's federal prison sentence was commuted to give him the hope of receiving a real second chance ... but he still has years to serve in an Illinois prison for a state crime, and Alice hopes the Illinois governor might grant him clemency as well.

We spoke with President Donald Trump's "pardon czar" on "TMZ Live" Thursday ... and, we asked her about Trump's decision to commute Hoover's federal sentence.

She tells us she first learned about Larry's case from Kanye West and Drake's live-streamed event at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum back in 2021, where she was sitting first row at the event and learned of Larry's plight.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino insists convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was not murdered in jail ... and he says there's video to prove the wealthy financier killed himself in his cell, and it'll soon be released.

Thursday morning, Bongino was on "Fox & Friends," where he disclosed the existence of video from Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan ... and he claims the footage shows no one else was involved in Epstein's death.

Bongino -- a conservative talk show host recently appointed to his FBI position by President Trump -- said last week he and FBI Director Kash Patel had reviewed the evidence and concluded Epstein did, in fact, end his own life. Still, plenty of people remained unconvinced.

Missi Pyle ain’t holding back when it comes to President Trump’s headline-grabbing pardon of Todd and Julie Chrisley -- she straight-up compared the whole thing to a reality TV show gone rogue.

The world's richest man announced his impending departure from the Trump administration Wednesday with a post on his social media platform, X.

Elon says ... "As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending."
