President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to Congress over airports ... telling pols to either pay TSA -- or get ready for pat downs conducted by ICE.

Robert Mueller -- the former FBI director who served as special counsel during an investigation into the 2016 election -- has died.

His family announced the news in a statement to the New York Times ... telling the paper of record he passed away Friday. They did not share where or how he died.

Mueller began his career in public service when he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1968 ... attaining the rank of captain and becoming a decorated soldier during the Vietnam War.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's wife, Rama Duwaji, has deactivated an old X account ... after a series of posts in which she criticized Israel and praised Palestinian terrorists resurfaced.

Rama's account reportedly came down Thursday ... just one day after the Washington Free Beacon claimed to have her old posts -- including one in which she quoted Leila Khaled, a Palestinian woman who hijacked two planes more than 50 years ago.

According to the outlet, over on her Tumblr account, Rama called Israel a "genocidal state" ... and shared photos of Palestinian revolutionaries from throughout the years.

Things got wildly uncomfortable on Thursday when President Trump made a joke about Pearl Harbor ... while sitting next to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.

During the White House meeting, a journalist asked Donald why he didn't give America's allies -- including Japan -- a heads-up before going to war with Iran.

Trump started to explain that he didn't want to "signal too much" before the attack, when he decided to turn the question back around on the journalist with a disturbing joke, saying ... "We wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor?"

Pete Hegseth says he's keeping it real with his son when it comes to the Iran War ... telling his 13-year-old the troops who died in Iran made the ultimate sacrifice for the next generation.

President Trump's Defense Secretary was talking to the media Thursday at the Pentagon when he mentioned his son ... claiming his kid popped in to his office the night before, when he was working on a speech, to ask him about the war and the families of the dead soldiers he went to visit at Dover Air Force Base.

Hegseth says he told his son the troops died for his son's generation so they don't have to deal with a "nuclear Iran."

Nampa, Idaho Mayor Rick Hogaboam died suddenly Wednesday night after experiencing a medical emergency in the middle of addressing a town hall.

According to local CBS affiliate KBOI-TV, the politician was speaking at city hall in Eagle, Idaho, when the incident took place, around 6:45 PM.

The City of Nampa shared a statement on Facebook yesterday, writing ... “It is with the deepest sadness that we must report Mayor Rick Hogaboam experienced a medical emergency tonight and has passed away. We ask the community to please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time."

Cesar Chavez -- the late labor leader and civil rights icon who cofounded the United Farm Workers -- is under fire after accusations surfaced he abused young women and minors … with celebrations honoring him now being canceled.

The UFW released a statement Tuesday saying it learned of "deeply troubling allegations" that Chavez "behaved in ways that are incompatible with our organization's values."

While some of the reports involve family issues ... the org says the "far more troubling" allegations involve abuse of young women and minors. Though UFW says it doesn't have firsthand knowledge of the allegations, it says they're serious enough that the org is taking "urgent steps" to learn more and help potential victims.

The B-52s are ripping Texas GOP Senator John Cornyn for using their famous song to attack his political opponent.

Cornyn's campaign dropped a political attack ad Tuesday using AI-generated content to go after Texas attorney general Ken Paxton and his sex scandal ... the 80-second ad is a parody of the B-52s' hit, "Love Shack."

In a statement to TMZ, the band says ... "Today we learned that our song 'Love Shack' is being used without our approval for a political attack between two politicians in the beautiful state of Texas. We do not endorse either candidate. We have already formally demanded the song immediately cease to be used in this tasteless and illegal way."

As you know ... U.S.-Israeli strikes killed Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, last month, initiating a new all-out war in the Middle East.

The conflict has risen to a fever pitch as Iran has virtually closed the Strait of Hormuz -- a critical passage for global trade -- and sparked the "largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market," according to the International Energy Agency.

Tucker Carlson says the CIA read his text messages with people in Iran and claims the agency is trying to get him charged as a foreign agent.

The conservative commentator made the allegation in a video posted to X Saturday, saying the CIA is preparing a criminal referral to the Department of Justice tied to conversations he had before the recent conflict with Iran.

"The CIA is preparing some kind of criminal referral against me," Carlson said. "What's the crime? Talking to people in Iran before the war. They read my texts."
