There are lots of challenges that come along with being a lottery pick in the NBA Draft ... but Cameron Boozer has a leg up on his fellow rookies, 'cause he doesn't have to look far if he needs some advice -- his dad, Carlos Boozer, is just a call away.

TMZ Sports was out in NYC -- location of the draft -- on Tuesday, when we bumped into the Boozer fam ... including pops, who played 13 seasons in The Association.

We asked dad, who was the 35th overall pick in 2002, for any guidance he plans to provide his 18-year-old son.

Terrion Arnold turned himself into police Wednesday evening in Florida on multiple felony kidnapping and robbery charges ... but Detroit Lions star vehemently denies doing anything wrong, and says he intends to prove it in court.

Arnold, 23, is currently being held in a Hillsborough County jail facility after being booked at 10:11 PM.

The charges -- four counts of robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and four counts of kidnapping with intent to harm or terrorize -- go back to an alleged incident in Tampa in February.

The allegations have been floating around for months, and Arnold, a former first round draft pick in 2024, has always maintained he did nothing wrong.

On Tuesday night, shortly after he surrendered, Denise White, Terrion's rep, adamantly denied her client did anything wrong, citing a lack of evidence.

"Terrion Arnold categorically denies any involvement in the matters underlying the allegations made against him and maintains his innocence," White said in a statement provided to TMZ Sports.

"There is no credible evidence linking Mr. Arnold to these allegations. Instead, the government appears to be relying on testimony from multiple convicted felons who have admitted their own involvement and may have substantial incentives to shift blame in an effort to lessen their sentences."

White continued, vowing to fight the charges.

"Mr. Arnold looks forward to his day in court and is confident that the judicial process will lead to his ultimate vindication."

Arnold is being held without bond.

Had he been in Buster's shoes, Huff says he would have responded ... "I'm not wearing this gay bulls***. Queers don't watch Baseball anyway. They watch 'The View,' enjoy therapy, & f**** p***ing sessions. And anyone inside the LGBTQ community, or those who support them don't like what I just said, then I say to you…. Go f*** yourselves, & eat a d***. And I mean that in the most literal sense."

Angel McCoughtry isn't buying Dana White's explanation for why the UFC doesn't hold Pride Nights ... calling the stance hypocritical and arguing the LGBTQ+ community deserves the same visibility other groups receive through major sports organizations.

The WNBA star -- who is openly gay -- joined us on "TMZ Live" and said Dana's argument that sexuality is a personal matter, not a workplace issue, doesn't hold up. In her view, the same logic could be applied to other groups, such as the military, which sports leagues regularly choose to spotlight.

Angel argues that giving the LGBTQ+ community a platform wouldn't hurt anyone and could actually help closeted athletes feel more comfortable being themselves.

Cops say a Peeping Tom filmed dozens of women without their knowledge at a Planet Fitness in California ... and now police are putting the suspect on blast.

The Arroyo Grande Police Department identified the suspect in the "electronic peeping" case as 40-year-old Grover Beach man Kyle L. Combs.

Multiple outlets report cops were able to ID him from surveillance video and witness reports.

The Knicks fan who proudly dumped garbage onto a New York City street to steal the basketball-themed orange and blue trash can is still getting dunked on ... she's been hit with multiple fines.

TMZ has learned the celebratory Knicks trash can was returned to New York City's Department of Sanitation Wednesday morning ... and, the trash bandit behind the ordeal was issued two summonses ... including a $75 littering ticket and a $100 ticket for impeding DSNY operations.

We're told the fines are the maximum allowed by law for first offenses.

We covered the wild story -- a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Angie Báez, was so happy about the Knicks' NBA Championship, she emptied a themed garbage can onto the street and then walked away with it.

The woman caught dumping garbage onto a New York City street in order to swipe a Knicks-themed public trash bin might get away scot-free ... at least in the eyes of the law.

Now that the trash bandit has been identified as 40-year-old Angie Báez ... TMZ reached back out to NYPD to see if they plan on charging or citing her. Their response -- there's "no complaint report on file with the information provided" ... meaning they ain't pursuing her!

But, Angie did have to face the consequences of her own actions at work -- she was employed as a senior director at JPMorgan Chase before being canned Tuesday over the incident.

JPMorgan Chase gave the ax to a senior executive caught on video dumping garbage onto an NYC sidewalk at the Knicks' championship parade and then stealing the trash receptacle, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan-based bank told TMZ that it fired Angie Baez after reviewing footage posted online showing the bizarre incident during last Thursday's parade in the Big Apple. As you know, the Knicks beat the Spurs 4-1 to take home the NBA Championship.

Videos uploaded to X show Baez decked out in Knicks gear as she dumps the contents of the trash bin onto the sidewalk and then walks away with it in front of stunned pedestrians.   

Bode Miller is speaking out after his arrest in Idaho ... insisting the drugs that landed him in legal trouble weren't his.

The Olympic skiing legend posted a statement to Instagram on Tuesday, saying he was pulled over for "accelerating while passing another vehicle on a highway" and claims a friend riding with him was the one carrying marijuana and a cannabis pipe.

Bode claims he was unaware his friend had the weed and pipe and said everyone in the vehicle cooperated with law enforcement during the traffic stop. He ended his statement by saying he's hopeful the charges will be dropped.
