Chris Brown is on the hook for a massive judgement to his ex-housekeeper after a jury found him liable for her injuries from a dog attack on his property, TMZ has learned.

A jury came down with the decision on Tuesday after a lengthy trial between Chris and Maria Avila. 

Maria sued Chris claiming he was negligent in allowing the large dog to roam his backyard … which is where she claims she was mauled while taking out the trash. In his initial response to the lawsuit, Chris argued Maria provoked the dog and caused her own injuries. 

James Kennedy is getting ready to say "I do" ... the former "Vanderpump Rules" star is engaged to girlfriend Jordan Meyers after a romantic proposal at Villa d'Este on Italy's famed Lake Como.

The DJ shared the exciting news Tuesday on Instagram, posting a carousel of photos from the picturesque proposal at the luxury lakeside hotel.

James kept the caption simple, writing, "We're engaged!! I love you, adventures with you forever and ever. Thank you for making me the luckiest guy in the world.❤️‍🔥"

The photos show Kennedy dropping to one knee before the couple celebrated against the postcard worthy backdrop of Lake Como.

The engagement comes just weeks after TMZ broke the story that James and Jordan are expecting their first child together.

James was previously engaged to Raquel Leviss before they called it quits in 2021. He later moved on with Ally Lewber, whose relationship with James also unfolded on the Bravo series.

Rob Kardashian made a rare appearance alongside his famous fam ... grinning wide in a photo shoot!

The reclusive Kardashian sibling stood with three of his sisters -- sans Kylie and Kendall Jenner -- and their mom Kris Jenner while decked out in a Dodger cap, matching blue shorts and a t-shirt.

Here's the deal ... a 75-year-old man who legally changed his name to "Santa Claus" was arrested last week as part of a child sex sting operation.

According to Kenner Police Department, Santa jingled all the way behind bars on two charges ... computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile. His bond was set at $20K for each charge.

KPD alleges Santa initiated contact with an undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old. Investigators claim he discussed engaging in sexual acts with the fictious teen during the course of conversation.

Colleen Zenk -- a longtime soap opera star best known for starring in "As the World Turns" and "The Young and the Restless" -- has been arrested for DUI again ... though she doesn't look bothered by it on bit in her mug shot.

The Daytime Emmy Award nominee was arrested in Collier County, Florida on May 15.

She was booked on two charges -- DUI resulting in damage to property or a vehicle belonging to another person; and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher.

Sources close to Tate tell TMZ ... he has also filed to seek sole custody of their two children ... Indy and Ocean.

The docs show Tate also submitted five exhibits and a declaration in support of his request. All of the filings are under seal, and as a result, it's unclear what prompted Tate to seek the restraining order.

A source close to Taylor tells TMZ the restraining order petition is a direct result of Dakota telling Tate lies about her. She feels Dakota will do anything to hurt her ... including using the children, but she is a survivor.
