One of the most popular power couples in the sports world is no more -- Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird just announced they have broken up after 10 years together.

The two superstar athletes -- who got engaged in 2020, but never exchanged vows -- shared a joint statement on Friday ... admitting, "There really is no smooth or easy way to share this news."

"This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s one we’ve made together, with so much love, respect, and care for each other. We’ve shared a whole life over the last decade, through big moments and in quiet ones, and that is something we’ll always carry with us."

Danity Kane is throwing cold water on an announcement shared by D. Woods and Aundrea Fimbres that sure made it seem like the group was playing the upcoming L.A. Block Party ... and the pair is getting major shade for the move.

The drama started this week ... when Woods and Fimbres both posted a flyer to IG, showcasing Diddy's most successful "Making The Band" product, Danity Kane, as a major act at the Block Party.

The group's official social accounts just fired back ... and said fans are being duped and it's wrong -- calling the post "false advertising" and "misleading."

According to the band's account ... only Woods and Fimbres are booked for the festival ... Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, and Dawn Richard knew nothing about it -- and they ain't going to be there.

Dylan Sprouse sprang into action when an alleged trespasser found himself on his Hollywood Hills property early Friday morning, TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... they got a 911 call from Dylan's wife, Barbara, around 12:30 AM Friday morning, saying there was an attempted burglary at their home. Our sources say Dylan confronted the alleged intruder and held him down until the cops showed.

A source close to Dylan tells TMZ ... the actor is OK, but obviously very shaken up. What's worse, we hear this is not the first time someone has tried to get into the couple's home uninvited.

Country music has lost one of its all-time hitmakers -- Don Schlitz, the mastermind behind "The Gambler," has died at 73.

Schlitz died Thursday at a Nashville hospital after a sudden illness ... and the loss is hitting the industry hard. A member of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame, he was a legend in the songwriting game.

His catalog reads like a greatest hits playlist. Schlitz wrote smashes for Kenny Rogers (“The Gambler,” “The Greatest”), Randy Travis (“On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen”), The Judds, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tanya Tucker and Mary Chapin Carpenter … just to name a few.

Longtime Angels star Garret Anderson -- the franchise's all-time hits leader -- tragically died on Thursday ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We're told the 53-year-old had a medical emergency at his home in Newport Beach, CA ... and dispatch audio details an unconscious male amid the request for service.

Anderson, born and raised in Los Angeles, was drafted by the Angels in 1990 ... and went on to play for the big league club from 1994 to 2008, becoming one of the greatest players in franchise history.

8:39 AM PT -- A law enforcement source tells TMZ ... this was an investigative grand jury and not one designed to indict anyone. But why did the LAPD say they were presenting the case to the D.A. on Monday if the D.A. was in charge of the grand jury investigation?

D4vd's arrest was dramatic for sure, but there's something underlying it that screams something is up with the prosecution's case ... it may not be as solid as people think.

The LAPD arrested D4vd late Thursday and quickly put out a statement that they would present the case to the D.A. on Monday. Here's the thing ... the D.A.'s office already had the case ... they had it for months.

Deputy D.A. Beth Silverman has been presenting evidence to an L.A. County Grand Jury since November, and it seemed by all accounts this was more than an investigative grand jury ... it was a grand jury convened to indict D4vd for the alleged murder of Celeste Rivas. If the grand jury heard all this evidence, wouldn't it make sense for it to indict?

A parenting influencer is opening up about what she’s calling the "worst day of her life" -- revealing she accidentally ran over her toddler in a terrifying freak accident.

Kelly Hopton-Jones shared the ordeal in a lengthy IG post ... saying she was heading out Wednesday with her 4-year-old daughter Lily to grab donuts, while her 23-month-old son Henry stayed home with her husband -- but in a split second, he darted out of the garage and into the path of her car.

She says they rushed Henry to the ER immediately -- and incredibly, X-rays showed his chest, legs, and neck were all normal, while a neurological exam found no signs of head trauma.
