J.D. Martinez broke Willson Contreras' arm while swinging at a pitch Tuesday ... and if you're squeamish, you might want to skip this one.

The unfortunate scene played out in the second inning of the Mets' clash with the Cardinals at Busch Stadium, when Martinez attempted to put his barrel on a Miles Mikolas slider.

The New York designated hitter, though, ended up making contact with Contreras' forearm instead -- and replays showed once the bat hit the catcher, a bone appeared to break instantly.

Johnny Manziel and Josie Canseco clearly have no issue putting their love out there for everyone to see -- the Heisman Trophy winner and Victoria's Secret model shared a passionate kiss on social media amid their new romance ... and seemingly professed their love for each other in the process.

Manziel posted the PDA-packed footage on Tuesday ... staring into the camera before turning to his lady and planting a few pecks.

Star boxer Jermall Charlo was arrested in Texas on Monday night ... after cops claimed he crashed his Lamborghini Urus while intoxicated.

A spokesperson for the Pearland Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports ... Charlo, riding in his red Lambo, and another car were involved in a collision at around 6:41 PM -- but after a verbal argument between the two drivers ensued, Charlo left the scene, which cops say is a no-no.

When authorities attempted to pull him over, they say Charlo ignored their sirens ... until he was boxed in by cops at a red light roughly a mile away from the accident area.

Ric Flair nearly handed out figure four leg locks outside a pizza joint in Florida after a heated argument at the bar ended with a challenge to fight in the parking lot ... and the entire ordeal was captured on video!

The 3-minute long video shows an agitated Nature Boy arguing with a Piesanos restaurant manager in Gainesville, FL before another patron steps in and threatens Flair with physical violence.

"Come outside here and talk to me like a man," Ric told the manager he was jawing with, before another man interrupted, standing up, looking at Flair, and ominously saying, "Hey, you wanna go have a talk with me in the parking lot? Cause I'll work you. I don't give a s**t."
