Howard Stern is back on-air ... after duping fans into thinking Andy Cohen was taking over his SiriusXM show.

Eager listeners tuned in expecting Stern to address rumors his long-running SiriusXM show was on the chopping block -- but instead, they were met with Bravo's Andy Cohen.

Cohen opened with ... "This is, I know, is not the voice that you expected to hear. This is not the voice that you probably wanted to hear, but it is I, Andy Cohen, and this is our first day broadcasting on Andy 100."

On Sunday, producers for the Broadway revival announced the Tony winner is battling a "serious case of sepsis" and will not finish his originally scheduled run at New York City's August Wilson Theatre. Porter was slated to star as the Emcee through October 21, but his final performance will now be September 21.

"His doctors are confident that he will make a full recovery but have advised him to maintain a restful schedule," read a statement on the show's social media accounts.

Rick Davies -- a founding member of the band Supertramp -- has died ... according to the group.

The singer-songwriter passed away in his Long Island home on Friday after a long battle with cancer, the band announced in a public statement. The group offered its condolences to his widow, Sue Davies.

Rick founded Supertramp in 1970 with fellow singer and songwriting partner Roger Hodgson ... and the two teamed up with Dougie Thomson, Bob Siebenberg and John Helliwell to form the original lineup form 1973 to 1983.

Police say she sustained gunshot wounds to her face, hands, right leg, and neck before being rushed to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
