The "Tonight Show" host surprised the actor with the gift during Tuesday night's episode ... after the two had a brief chat about Pacers player T.J. McConnell getting right up in his face and gloating during a playoff matchup against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden last season.

The snap is honestly museum-worthy -- it shows the hooper celebrating as Miles and his wife, Keleigh, Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner stare blankly back at him from their courtside seats ... and it was plastered all over social media at the time.

Mynie Steffens -- a cookbook author and cooking show host -- is dead after her helicopter flew into powerlines and crashed into a South African farm ... according to multiple local reports.

The beloved TV chef died Monday ... she was flying the chopper over her own farm and spraying pesticides on her oranges, according to the outlet Cape Argus.

Steffens reportedly flew into powerlines just before 8 AM local time before the helicopter went down ... which ended with the craft "substantially damaged due to impact force," according to the country's Accidents and Incidents Investigations Division.

After begging the cops for months to arrest him — yes, you heard that right! — Chicago rapper Adamn Killa finally got his wish this week ... sort of.

Chicago PD officers cuffed and detained Killa on Monday after he interceded in a police traffic stop Downtown while telling cops to "arrest me, Daddy," according to the Chicago Sun Times. Killa was reportedly placed in a police vehicle for 20 minutes before he was set free without being charged. He then jumped on Instagram and posted video of his detainment.

The back story on Killa — whose real name is Adam Kelly — should come as no surprise. Over the past several months, Killa has been filmed walking up to cops, leaning over with his butt out, and demanding to be arrested with his customary phrase, "Arrest me, daddy." He also clutches his hands together and sometimes does a little dance in the videos, which have gone viral.

A Turkish military cargo plane crashed Tuesday, reportedly marking the country's deadliest military incident since 2020.

According to The Independent, the crash killed all 20 personnel on board.

The aircraft -- a C-130 Hercules -- was recorded caught in a tailspin, spewing a trail of smoke as it plummeted to the earth in footage shared by local outlet Turkey Tribune.

Jack Schlossberg -- John F. Kennedy's only grandson -- is looking to carry on his famous family's political legacy ... announcing a bid for Congress.

Zion PD tells TMZ ... officers responded to a local intersection for a crash involving a 2015 Ford Edge and a pedestrian identified as 59-year-old Darren Lucas. According to police, the driver -- an unidentified 43-year-old woman -- called 911 and remained at the scene, speaking with investigators.

Tragedy for friends and family ... Jimmy Kimmel just announced his show's longtime band leader and childhood friend, Cleto Escobedo III, died Tuesday morning.
