TIME100 Sports Gala just got 100 times cooler ... as some of the biggest names in sports rolled into New York -- with one hoops legend arriving like royalty.

The red carpet took place in NYC on Thursday night ... and, as you can imagine, the biggest man in the room -- maybe literally -- was none other than LeBron James!

He and Savannah pulled up to the gala yesterday like a pair of smooth operators ... dressed in simple, bold black.

Of course, they weren't the only ones making a bang from the NBA world ... new champ and finals MVP Jalen Brunson was there with his wife Ali, regular season MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg were all there, too!

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the woman told them she and the rapper began arguing after he removed TVs from the walls inside their shared residence. She says he got physical and smashed her two phones with a hammer so she could not call 911.

The woman told cops she sprinted outside with their child and began yelling for help. She originally tried to seek shelter at a neighbor's home, but the neighbor wasn't there. She then went to a different neighbor's home before Desiigner chased her down in a yard and threw her to the ground, ripping her designer handbag from her before throwing the purse.

Carmine asked a judge to push his reporting date back by 60 days so he can donate an organ to Victoria -- who suffers from chronic kidney disease -- and recover outside of prison.

Andrew Gillum claims he tested negative for drugs ... weeks after being busted for meth ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the ex-Florida governor nominee signed up a drug testing program, took the tests, and the results came back clean today.

In the docs, Gillum asked for a hearing to be set once a decision's been made about whether or not he needs to do a court-approved drug treatment program. The court granted his request and scheduled his hearing for next month.

NBC has fired a security guard after the shocking security breach at the "TODAY" show that ended with an intruder confronting Craig Melvin ... TMZ has confirmed.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the guard was terminated Thursday after allegedly allowing the suspect to slip into Studio 1A causing the frightening incident.

Security footage reportedly shows two guards posted at the entrance when the breach occurred, according to Page Six. The outlet reports one guard briefly stepped away while the other failed to notice the man entering the restricted area.

We've reached out to a rep for the "TODAY" show, who declined to comment on the firing.

As TMZ first reported, Andrew Truelove entered 30 Rockefeller Plaza through the "TODAY" plaza after asking staffers where he could find Al Roker. Law enforcement sources told us he never found Roker and instead allegedly lunged at Craig while yelling the N-word at him.

Truelove was quickly detained until the NYPD arrived. Despite the alarming encounter, no one was hurt, and Craig and Al were back on the air about 15 minutes later.

Our cameras later captured a heavy police presence outside 30 Rock as investigators looked into how the suspect managed to get so deep inside the building.
