Robert De Niro looks like he's among the legions of folks who walked away from the Lindsay Clancy murder trial thoroughly impressed with her lawyer, Kevin Reddington ... because we have video of them chatting it up.

TMZ obtained footage of Robert and Kevin talking up a storm Wednesday at the CBS Broadcast Center in Manhattan ... crossing paths before separate appearances on "CBS Mornings" ... and they sure looked chummy.

Kevin even put his arm around the Oscar-winning actor ... and we're told they may have even taken a picture together at some point.

A beloved Los Angeles-area coyote named Wendy survived being shot in the face ... but the damage was so horrific that vets ultimately had to put her down.

The 3-year-old coyote had become a familiar sight around Studio City, where locals noticed a huge growth on the side of her face and wildlife rescuers spent weeks trying to catch her.

Once they finally did, vets discovered the awful truth ... Wendy had been shot with a pellet gun, and two pellets were still lodged in her head.

Lindsay Clancy's lawyer Kevin Reddington is making another eyebrow-raising plea ... this time on behalf of her ex-husband Patrick Clancy ... and Reddington is slamming any conspiracy theorists claiming Patrick played a role in killing their kids.

Reddington sat down for an interview with "CBS Mornings" today, telling hosts ... "I just think that it's horrific what this man has been going through, and he's entitled to move on with his life. And the fact that he's moved on with his life and still is standing by Lindsay, as far as the legal issues tells the tale."

Reddington continued his defense ... "Listen to the 911 call ... The public has not heard it. The jury. I understand that the judge made that ruling, but I have said repeatedly the gut-wrenching horror that that is in his voice. No actor in California could ever imitate that."

An Ohio lawyer tried to gun down his ex-wife in a crowded restaurant ... but prosecutors say his plan fell apart because he forgot one pretty important step -- taking the safety off.

Matthew Exton walked into Sabira in Toledo in April 2025, allegedly sent a drink to his ex-wife's table and spit toward her family before leaving ... only to come back with a gun.

Prosecutors say Exton marched straight toward the table and tried to fire a bullet at his ex-wife, but the gun didn't go off because the safety was still on ... and the entire interaction was captured on video.

A National Guardsman got arrested and charged with 2 felonies after pulling a gun on a fellow Guard member and vowing to "slap the Jackson 5" out of her, according to an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit, obtained by TMZ, stated that Zion Mitchell was apprehended by police last week and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after a judge issued an arrest warrant for him.

The alleged incident occurred on August 25, when Mitchell got into a heated argument with a female National Guard member while they were on break from patrol inside a van parked outside a Popeyes restaurant in D.C., according to cops.

One of the two pilots involved in Sunday's deadly Amazon cargo plane crash reportedly said his career was over just moments after the disaster that killed 5 people.

The National Transportation Safety Board identified the two pilots of the cargo jet as Felipe Silva Molina and Joseph Carroll, both of whom escaped the crash with just minor injuries.

As you know, the plane -- traveling from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Florida -- overshot the runway at Miami International Airport, plowing into vehicles on a roadway nearby. Five people were killed, and five others were injured.

Natalie and a pair of female aides reported Trump's "cash gifts for the holidays" in financial disclosure forms released by the White House ... according to CNN.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Timothy’s mom, Shauntel Hudson, claims his dad, Thomas Hudson, has not paid all of his court-ordered child support. Shauntel is Anna's stepmom and Timothy's mom.

In the filing, Shauntel says Thomas agreed to pay $2,129 per month in support for their three kids ... which went down to $1,732 once child support terminated for one child ... and then reduced to $1,092 when it was down to just one kid.

The owner of a Florida doggy daycare has been arrested after employees found a hidden camera in the bathroom.

Dog Dayz Inn owner Donald Hemphill was charged after the camera was found inside an electrical outlet on Saturday.

During the Volusia Sheriff's Office Child Exploitation Unit's investigation, Hemphill allegedly copped to installing the camera about 4 or 5 months ago.

Sophie Rain's alleged burglar made some concerning statements about the OnlyFans model at a crisis center … only months after cops say he tried to break into her home ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the man, Connor Litka, made the remarks to a staff member at the crisis center. The docs say Connor said that in July 2025 he stopped taking his psychiatric medication.

A staff member at the crisis center says he reported to an employee that he and his girlfriend Sophie took a "blood oath" and it was an "intense experience." The report said Connor told staff he wanted to get out of "here" and claimed he wanted to leave South Bend, Indiana, and go back to "Florida to be with Sophie."
