Talk about becoming part of the story ... a TV reporter and her cameraman in Mexico were covering dangerous road conditions when a car came skidding straight at them -- and the whole thing went down live on air.

GamaVisión reporter Alma de la Rosa Flores was in the middle of a live shot in Monterrey, reporting on damage from a fallen tree ... when a Jeep-type vehicle suddenly lost control on the slick pavement and barreled into the news crew.

The scary moment played out live ... with the vehicle sliding into frame and taking out Alma and the cameraman before the broadcast abruptly cut back to the studio.

The Cornell gang rape case just took another bizarre turn ... with accused fraternity brothers claiming the woman at the center of the case told them the group sex was consensual and even called it "normal in the medieval times."

The NYC Medical Examiner's Office tells TMZ ... Big Black died of arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, a condition in which fatty plaque builds up inside the artery walls, causing them to narrow and harden.

The M.E.'s office declined to say where or when he died, but the condition is considered a natural cause of death.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her former fiancé Ken Urker were taking some time apart before his death ... but their relationship was still intact, and they planned to move into a new apartment ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Ken asked Gypsy for some space ... and she had been staying with her parents for the past couple of weeks while moving their belongings out of the couple's old apartment and into a new place.

The lawyer representing the Jane Doe accusing 7 Cornell frat brothers of drugging and sexually assaulting her at a frat house says his client is "not doing well" ... and he pushed back on the narrative that she was remotely capable of giving consent the night of her alleged gang rape.

In an interview with CNN on Friday, Jane Doe's attorney Thomas Giuffra said his client has been "under siege on social media where people are trying to identify her."

Describing "false court postings" trying to ID her and the fact that other women have been misidentified as her, Giuffra said ... "That's been really difficult."

When asked about Jane Doe's account to police ... where she said she engaged in consensual activity in the beginning of the night before it became nonconsensual ... Giuffra remained adamant that Jane Doe was too drunk to ever give consent that night.

TikTok star Brooke Eby, who built a huge following by documenting her battle with ALS and tackling the disease with humor and brutal honesty, is dead.

The ALS Network announced Brooke's death Thursday ... saying the community was mourning an "extraordinary advocate, storyteller, community builder and friend."

Brooke was diagnosed with ALS -- also known as Lou Gehrig's disease -- in March 2022, about four years after she first began experiencing symptoms.

Christa Pike raised serious concerns about the doctor who was assigned to give her a lethal injection, asking tough questions weeks before he botched her execution ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained court docs filed by Christa in August … a short time before her scheduled execution on September 30 ... and she claims prosecutors went to "great lengths to protect and conceal the identity of the physician that the State of Tennessee uses in its executions.”

She said the government objected to any questions about the qualifications of the doctor scheduled. Christa's legal team claimed the physician made a statement to a news outlet about his intention to participate in her execution.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York is breaking his silence over his August arrest in Ohio ... after the NFL suspended him for six games and fined him $500,000 for violating its Personal Conduct Policy.

The police report detailing Gypsy Rose Blanchard's former fiancé Ken Urker's death paints a troubling picture of the scene deputies walked into ... with drug paraphernalia found near his body.

According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office report obtained by TMZ, deputies were called to Ken's Louisiana home Thursday evening for a welfare check after he stopped answering his phone and wouldn't come to the door.

The report says Ken was cold to the touch and not breathing when he was found.

According to an affidavit Raquell filed Sept. 22, obtained by People, she claims the alleged abuse began early in their relationship and escalated over the years.

Raquell alleges Gabe would yell at her and their children, hit the kids, and intimidate them ... and claims he once punched, kicked, and choked her while asleep during what she described as his night terrors.

Nolan Wells' friends are speaking out against a fresh batch of death threats they say they've received after lawyers for Nolan's family claimed messages from Nolan's phone had been deleted ... and they say their families are also under fire.
