With two members of her brood looking completely miserable, Angelina Jolie did a little shopping today at a Halloween store in Sherman Oaks.

Brad Pitt is pretty confident -- even though his days of drug use are LONG GONE, he thinks could land in any city, at anytime and score some dope ... just give him 24 hrs.

Pitt is promoting a new film he executive produced called "The House I Live In," a documentary that takes a hard look at the war on drugs, which Pitt believes is floundering.

According to The Huffington Post, Pitt introduced a screening of the film by telling the crowd, "My drug days are long since passed but it's certainly true that I could probably land in any city in any state and get you whatever you wanted ... Give me 24 hours or so."

Pitt believe the fact that drugs being so accessible -- even for someone long out of the game like himself -- is why the so-called drug war isn't working.

Giovanni Ribisi KNOWS one house in L.A. just ain't enough -- the actor dropped $3 million on a sweet new pad in the Hollywood Hills ... just 5 miles down the road from his OTHER sweet, new pad.

Ribisi's recent purchase is 3,756 square-feet of awesomeness -- it boasts 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, a library, lagoon style pool, cascading waterfall ... AND sits right next door to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (awesome?).

All in all, the crib set Ribisi back a cool $2.95 million.

For the first time since the engagement news broke, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted together ... seen here being driven to a private plane at an airport on the Galapagos Islands.

The couple has reportedly been there for most of this week on a post-engagement trip with their entire brood.

A gay rights group in California fully supports Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's decision to tie the knot ... even though Brangelia always swore they wouldn't get hitched until everyone had the right to marry.

But Rebekah Orr, Communications Director for Equality California, says the group is totally behind the Brangelina marriage, even if the right to marry is still not enjoyed by everyone.

She tells us, "Marriage is something that says ‘we're a family’ in a way that nothing else can ... No one has to deny that for themselves or their family to prove they are an ally and supporter of equality."

After 6 children and 7 years as an unmarried couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally engaged -- this according to Brad's rep.

Brad's manager Cynthia Pett-Dante released a statement confirming the engagement, but says there's no wedding date yet -- as of now, the engagement is simply a "promise for the future."

Pitt and Jolie met on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" back in 2005. They have three biological children (the twins Vivienne and Knox, and daughter Shiloh) and three adopted children (Maddox, Pax, and Zahara).

Brad and Angelina had previously stated they would NOT get married until gay people could get married too -- but admitted their children were pressuring them to tie the knot.

This will be Brad's second marriage and Angelina's third. Angelina was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. Brad was previously married to Jennifer Aniston.

Jennifer Aniston is still unmarried.

TMZ has obtained photographic evidence that food, or rather a bag containing food, touched the hands of Angelina Jolie today in Los Angeles.

It is unclear whether or not this constitutes "eating."

According to our sources, she would have to consume the food inside the bag for it to constitute "a meal."

Jolie was the passenger in a car driven by Brad Pitt as they made their way through a McDonald's drive-thru.

Calls to a rep for Angelina's right leg were not returned.

One day after causing a sensation at the Oscars, Angelina Jolie's legs -- both of them -- were spotted fully clothed and getting coffee in L.A. on Monday.

Also covered up and along for the ride were Angie's very skinny arms.
